- Syed Taqi Hassan Abedi (سید تقی حسن عابدی) is an Indian-Canadian poet and scholar of the Urdu language. He delivered many lectures on Allama Iqbal Day at like Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad, India. His work on Iqbal is on "Iqbal Ka Falsafa-e-Ishq".
Referring "Choon Marg Ayed" and "Iqbal Kay Irfani Zaweye". He pointed out that "Javaid Nama" written by Allama Iqbal can be selected and discussed as one of the classic work in line with the importance of books "Gulistan and Diwan-e-Hafiz" by Saadi and "Shahnama" of Firdausi.
In his interview he highlighted on Dr. Iqbal's thought on East and the West, Mysticism, self and the concept of MAN. He talks why Iqbal called Youth am Eagle (Shaheen).

Scholars like him should create an online self-study course that people all over the world can learn from. Perhaps this might be a good way to take the message of Iqbal to the next generation.
I am honored to have listened Professor Taqqi Hussain Abadi already at my university campus on 9th November. He is an excellent scholar and aptly holds the expertise in Iqbal's potery and his philosophy.

Questions of interviewer were from a neutral or general point of view that was good coz answers will be for those who understand less or nothing about Allama Iqbal and his concepts.for those who know more and wants to know better tashreeh of Iqbals kalam is enough to discuss and to listen others point of view
As far as concerned about falsafa e khud i unfortunately it can be explained but next to impossible to make some one understand.it not 1+1=2.

Thank you for putting up such though provoking and quality content, I really enjoyed the dissection of complex and arguably contradictory philosophical ideas of Iqbal. You seemed to ask all the right questions and your guest seems extremely knowledgeable on the subject although he seemed to be leaning bit on the conservative side of the argument for Iqbal.
Although I am sure there are a lot of left leaning Iqbal experts who would argue Iqbal being contradictory as you pointed out in your interview, not just contradicting himself but also the teaching to Islam/Eastern traditions. It would be great if you could also invite a guest who would argue the flip side of this argument. Thanks

Someone truly said....Muslims failed to understand Iqbal s message and that’s why they are so divided and primitive whereas the west failed to understand him that’s why they didn’t kill him.

Fantastic summarisation of Iqbal what a motivational teacher! Bohat shukriya Dr Sahab. Kindly for future during interview don't cut his answer while explaing. Because Dr Sahab is quickly extract the answer at the same time explains wholistic view.
