I always consider it a complement when people forget I'm visually impaired/ blind. It doesn't define me, it's just part of my daily life. Thanks for sharing.

Determination of will can surpass any disability. Determination is just a perception but convincingly cherished.

What she says at 4:36 sums up the entire video IMO. Great perspective that we should all embrace.

I saw the title initially and then became so involved with what was being said, I forgot all about the title. She didn't see herself as visually impaired as so often the label define us. So what about the title, focus on the video and what was being said.

Lots of people see age as a barrier.

    • @KrittinKalra

As +Just Another said, many people see age as an obstacle and they don't feel they are strong enough to overcome it. The only age reference Bobby used in her talk was when she said she has had much more fun than people twice her age. At the end of the day, it's not about questioning the title of the talk, it's about learning from Bobby's journey

I see this is 6 months old, but in answer could it be discrimination ??????? I think she is saying that with her being visually impaired and people finding it a problem, then it is their problem, not hers as she is handling it very well???

"Age is nothing"... This has nothing to do with this TED talk. That beginning phrase is clickbait.
