The way he cleans as he cooks, you can tell he really cares about that place
that’s what a lot of asian chefs do especially u own a small kitchen
@Ralph Reilly As a line cook i can agree, i clean my station and utensils after each dish.
IN MY VIEW
His kitchen is spotless. His routine is perfected. His dedication is heartfelt.
The dedication of this man is truly amazing you can tell by the delicate cooking and the cleanliness of his cookware, truly inspiring and thank you for sharing this story to us!
I just love how the kitchen remains spotless even as he works! just brilliant!
やっぱ日本料理は最高です。
Heartwarming story about how people can change. Food looks delicious too!
Had the privilege of eating here the first time I went to Japan, 'twas so good that I went back multiple times in the same trip. Best Katsudon I had in my life. Can't wait to get back there and have it again!
i never understood katsudon, why drench a crispy porkchop in boiling liquid and make it all soggy? how can this be tasty?
@@---iv5gj well firstly, you have to get the katsudon on the spot to really enjoy it. Even when prepared together with the sauce, it maintains the crispiness while absorbing the flavours from the sauce. It only becomes soggy after being drenched for an extended period of time. If it really bothers you, maybe you can ask the chef to serve the pork cutlet separately I guess
Don't say "twas"
@@poolsofbloodinyourstomach it's shorter
@@tardigrade2244 you literally have to type the same amount of letters. It was - ‘twas
This looks delicious and I love how we get to watch him from start to end, you can tell how much effort went in to optimize the tasks, the order things are done and even where to put the trash can!
Looks amazing! Consistent technique. Passion
love the owner's life story information in the captions.
it adds a lot of emotional depth, which is often missing in these types of food videos
thanks
pointless
@@matioch2979 your comment, yes, it’s pointless.
Ok that looks so freaking delicious it make my mouth watery just looking at it
Katsudon is at the top of my list of food I have to try when I would visit Japan 🤤
Thank you for showing this restaurant.
Food looks like it tastes great. Some awesome jazz music playing in the background 😎
The crispy sound when he chopped the katsu mmmm
Looks absolutely fantastic! Thank you for sharing ❤️
Oh man! The Katsu, cabbage and rice bowl looked SO GOOD- it made my tummy growl!! 😳😆😋❤️
Your beautiful
Love this channel. I hope to eat a beautiful places like this that you show. Thanks!
I rarely like backstories in videos like this, but this time the backstory made the video much better...imo
Glad the second generation had done so well for the third generation that would lay the foundation for the fourth and fifth generations which must make the first generation and the generations before him proud
this is why I love Japanese culture
Amazing. Everything looks so delicious!
これは食ってみたい!
大阪に行った際には行かせていただきます👍
Food art at its finest 😍
beautiful video, thank you... I will visit this restaurant
The food colors are beautiful. Makes me very hungry!
I love Katsu! This looks amazing!
Love Japanese food so much!❤️ Very flavorful katsudon👍
There's so many ingredients, can't enjoy any of the flavors. Eggs in soup is very bad.

There's so many ingredients, just make you sick anyway.
@@freshstart4423 that's a lie

@@freshstart4423 just keep it in moderation and you'll be fine. over thinking about what you should eat probably won't do any good to your mind which is affecting your body as well.
@@amano6979 There's no moderation in this video, these recipes are poison. They can't absorb the nutrients because of loose stool.

Japanese style. Always quite clean and I readily except that he does not use gloves. The copperware is great too.
Customers must also have hurricane pace of eating. 😂😂😂😊
Although props to the guy for perfecting his craft.👍👍👍

Looks amazing
This man is incredible, he even has figured out the right temperature for his stove, so his soup doesn't fly through the whole kitchen
Hard work and dedication 💪 amazing!
The copper cookware shows how serious this kitchen is. The food looks amazing too.
I thought copper cookware was bad or did I miss something?
@@acid1747 It's not bad; it's very good for conducting heat.
If you use it for acidic foods and it's not properly coated then it will form copper salts which are harmful to ingest. Once is probably not a big deal but copper will accumulate over time in the body.
The fact that the cookware looks custom made tells me how serious it is, not necessarily it being copper.
@@acid1747 it's way better than aluminium cookware
Looks delicious 👍 👍👍 👍
i think one of the best video because of the background story laid out for viewers. Amazing comeback to regretful past.
Wow! Delicious foods, best restuarant.
That looks so delicious!!

I particularly like the way this meal looks. I'm sure it tastes amazing.
i like watching your videos. It give me ideas of where to go if we go to Japan :)
It’s all about that tiny little spin he puts on the lid. That sums up this whole video.
I live that his little coming plane are also his plates the customers eat from, saving so much time washing up.
Amazing
