Farming at lower town halls is easy but past 14 or 15 is when it gets harder now so its best to upgrade good defenses at lower town halls then just play normally and upgrade to Pet Houses and whatever else u want
Same. Builder base imo was their only kind of failure to try to freshen up coc, however in doing so I’m sure they know to do something better to keep the game alive and flourishing
A new townhall once a year means we are currently 9 months away from a new town hall and we only have 2/3 of the town hall 16 update. 18-24 month cycle is good cause it allows players to catch up and gets everyone hype for new town halls.
They don't want you to catch up. The goal is to put you in a position to spend money if you want to consistently be ready for the next town hall release.
@@michaelfox8802 Rush to max TH and for offense use power potions and hero potions in war when you need to. Or convert all your magic items (except books and runes), CWL medals, capital raid medals, and clan game rewards to gems to make about 1000-2000 gems per month and significantly speed up your progress.
I've also thought of something, yes, the time reduction is good, but, if they just keep getting shorter, what next? 10 minutes for th1, 30 for th2 and getting to th8 in 1 week? You won't really be able to enjoy the townhalls, as you are just speedrunning them, not having enough time to enjoy the charms of each townhall
~2 years between TH was enough time to max my base before the next town hall came out but ever since TH 15 came out I’ve been super behind 💀only unlocked 5 pets and maxed 2, troop upgrades are ~1/2 of the way complete, and I’m probably only 1/5 of the way through TH 15 currently which took the last 3 months coming from TH 14 but this probably would’ve taken 6+ months without upgrade reductions to time
An often overlooked thing is that when you go too fast from one th to another, you dont get the full experience of the town hall. I remember going from 6 to 7 to 8 to 9 to 10 and every th had its own new troop and hero that you need to learn because you would be on that town hall for some time. Now you just rush from 11 do 16 using only e drags and not getting the full experience like before. There are little to no incestives to using new troops but before you just had to use them, more or less
E drags are one of the hardest spam armies to master. They literally got buffed as they were so weak. As a th 16, I respect anyone who uses off meta troops like e drags or super drags instead of root riders super archers clone blimp and stuff.
I remember when i first started playing clash of clans 5 or 6 years back, a town hall 12 max player was considered a respectable top player. Everyone looked up to maxing out their town hall levels in a friendly compensation way. There was really a huge hype everytime a new town hall came but after town hall 14 things kinda changed. It sunddely feels like there's a never ending chain of town halls ahead and you cant really get to the level u want to be at. It's no longer competitive at the lower stages and the essence of clash if clans is almost lost with little to no focus on players spending time on lower town halls
I assume they are choosing to try and release town halls more frequently because high level players will max out and stop spending money on the game for a few months until another update is released. I think 18-24 months is a good period between town halls but they really do need to start releasing content for lower town halls more frequently. I think Supercell is being pretty greedy choosing to release new town halls yearly, as it is clear that higher town halls are usually the people who are more willing to spend more money on the game, especially when a new town hall is released.
They drastically reduced upgrade times for th15 and below when th16 were introduced. Also SC introduced the Forge for th8 and up, the new spell is accessible from th12+
Yeah. They're becoming too money hungry. I don't like that new UI they added in your home base when you tap an upgrading item and it shows you that buying the gold pass will reduce the upgrade time. I don't think I will ever buy the gold pass and I'll have to endure staring at that UI forever 🙂
@@vice214lol. People don’t want to spend a a quarter a day to play a game they love (gold pass) and expect everything from the business who’s job is to pay employees and make fun game that makes profit. Just enjoy what th you’re at and if you never spend money yeah you’ll never be max it’s a game get over that notion.
They should do more stuff with Clan Capital too and maybe even builder base. Like a builder base gold transfer or SOMETHING that can reflect back into your Town Hall. Add more attacks to Clan Capital, add more districts, they can use that as a sort of testing ground for new troops and ideas
My idea is to have town halls unlock new abilities and content throughout their 1-5 star levels, with thier own requirements making a town hall have more value, as it would take longer to progress if they made an upgrade to for example th13 1 star ---> th13 2 star have a new building/troop, and requirements such as upgrading your cannons and archer towers form level 17-18. This would also prevent rushers, although I know some people like rushing so idk.
As long as all 5 stars of the TH were released at once (not their features) this is a great idea. The only reason I see is that a 1 star TH17 might be weaker than a 5 star TH16, so why would someone upgrade until all levels are out.
This isn't a good idea cause the one's who are playing from a very long time might have patience but you can't expect someone to have patience when they enter into the game and see 16 levels to townhall and they get stuck because of their upgrades and can't enjoy higher townhall levels.
@@158sahilansari2 you can make do with this idea but you cannot stop people from upgrading their townhall due to certain cannons not upgraded. As I see a lot of rushed ids and i am also a strategic rushed guy. It is a part of the game. Also I do it to prevent resources wastage
This idea is pretty much useless tbh. I guess they have to use builder base system or they can make dual bases and then we have to reload traps idk... It seems very complex. Although I think they are good for the next 5 years... Resource buildings can be merged and loot can be given like the legend league system or something like that
as sosmeone whos played the game for the longest time now casually, and finally hitting th15 it was very annoying when they released th16 so early i think they should combine whatever idea they have for the 17 and 18 into one.. and release every 18 months at the earliest
I think the only problem is that free to play players are going to stuggle with the new hero equipments. They need to make it were every attack gives you some ores so that we can at least upgrade more equipment. Not to mention that its ridiculous that equipment is locked behind a pay wall if you don't get it for free when it shows up in the game.
Im pretty sure it has been said somewhere by the dev that they try to keep a consistent 4 year timeline of consistent play to max out, that's why there are such massive reductions. the low townhalls recently are beginning to take a very short amount of time to get through and catching up is not as bad as it used to be.
There are three main villages it would be cool if they focused on builder base and capital hall sometimes in order to buy more time for people to level up. Of course this could be kinda boring for the top player but at least they will have events and the capitol/builder base content to keep them busy.
Yoh, I 100% agree. It should be every 24 months at least... I never get to enjoy a town hall at the end of maxing because just as I do, I have another town hall to grind and it's even more frustrating as a f2p account. I keep up with the town halls and maxing but to enjoy attacking and getting good at the game instead of farming every single day would be nice.
I recently started a new account and was surprised by how quickly you zip past the early townhalls now with the new reduced time/costs. I honestly felt like I was missing out on the low level gameplay.
with the current rate of things as a free to play each time a new town hall releases you can finish one th and get 10 percent through the next (excluding th 13) this means that you should be one less town hall behind every 10 years
there are still flaws with this, like this assumes you take no breaks from the game and always have all builders active, and of course it ignores the lab.
I just recently got to th11 by grinding a lot from th7. It is definitely better than it was at the start. But I do believe they might need to do stuff related to gameplay or player experience instead of pushing town halls out for new content. I'm already feeling left out as it is and I might never be able to catch up if they keep doing this. It's not just upgrading the town hall, it's every single building and the walls are just outrageous tbh
For me the best alternative is making so every low th level takes 1-2 months mid range th takes around 4-5 months and the newest th takes around 10-11 months so low th players can progress fast mid range players can progress 3 th in a year and almost max players can get max just before the new th
You know what sucks I've been trying constantly to catch up but can't Guess why When the max th was 15...I was almost max th13 They reduced th13 time but not 14's....so it's no use for me Now when th16 got released I was new th15 This cycle feels like never ending
@@nRGM7-or9sewhy do you have to catch up with those who were stronger than you and upgraded earlier? they also waste time, resources, money, pumping up the base. you gradually catch up with them anyway. but why should you catch up with them, because they are also leveling up... why should I, with a 16 town hall, wait until someone with a 14 or 15 reaches level 16 and then we will move to 17 together?
@@nRGM7-or9seI u have 6th builder and keep everything going at once, add in in cwl medals and magic items u should be able to lvl up faster than the new releases
The low town halls take only a few days now. Before the th16 update I pretty much sped through everything as a maxer to town hall 9 in just 2-3 months. Currently th11 and th13 as a rusher
Personally one of the most fun aspects for me in CoC is seeing the progression of my base and feeling myself getting closer to the finish line. Just reached TH13 2 days ago. But if TH levels become as frequent as this, I'm afraid I'm never gonna see myself at max lvl, even though that's why I play in the first place.
Eventually, there will just be too many town hall levels that supercell will have to find ways to keep updating the game without adding new town halls. A good example of this was the clan capital update, but then again they also can’t just keep adding new village variants like builder base or clan capital. I honestly can’t see a way this problem could be solved really.
Having a one year cycle ensures dedicated players that are far more likely to spend money consistenly have new content to play. It may make it harder for free to play players to catch up, but they obviously going to prioritize keeping paying players active rather than allow f2p to catch up.
I personally think this is just a thing Moving foward but will soon be reverted back to 2-3 years for like TH 18-19. They did say in the Vlog that they want to add more (Blacksmith) like Features in the future for older Town halls. I think a New Troop, Pet, Defense and Theme will be added yearly. The Upcoming super troop event in March sounds interesting. Seems like it's going to be close to the Lunar New Year event but with super troops
I’d say another big paradox that is the biggest one is that they said they don’t want to increase base sizes for the grid and don’t want to increase battle times also only wanting 4 max heroes. It’s contradictory as more buildings will need more slots to be made
@@bruhg4766Too much increased complexity, time fails will become more common, and if we go over 100 buildings, building destruction might not give 1%.
Reduce time reductions by a lot, make walls cheaper ( lvl 12 -> from 1M to 100k) make every town hall exit every two years and make some quests like upgrade your inferno tower and they give you a book of everything or upgrade every cannon and you get book of buildings
1. They add a new attack stage, (just like builder base 2.0) i think town hall 8 or 10 are a pretty good place to implement this. 2. More features for town halls below 14
as someone who got into COC when i was a young kid back in 2013 having to wait two and a half years to get the new town halls felt like forever. This might just be me being impatient, but a year feels like forever, and I do believe your argument makes good sense if it was like every few months.
They need to make something competitive accessable from every th, but which separates each th completely from the other, such that maxing and mastery is incentiviced, which is what gives players the value and sentimental connection.
Legend league for different TH's would be great. I'm currently @14 taking on 16's which is a bit frustrating. The way the game is heading I feel I might as well rush because I'll never catch up to top th and be able to compete.
I think that town hall 16 was actually a step in the right path, with combining underwhelming buildings to give them more significance and with the bonus of opening up new space, however I feel that with new town halls it might eventually kill the game, so instead I thought of instead of adding more town halls as permanent content they could improve their events so that there is new content but they also don't have old content that piles up and overwhelms players, Town hall 20 might be a good stopping point.
This is actually an easy problem to solve. You retire certain town halls after 20. So you limit the number to 20. That way max is never unobtainable and older players don't feel they've lost because they retain an advantage
what it becomes is essentially cheapening the early levels. When the game dropped, th8 was the peak of the peak. Nowadays, a th8 might be a month into the game; barely having started anything.
I think they'll add a tech tree or somtin for the upcoming town halls so that each player can have different variations of their own choice for their townhall and possibly different variations for each troops. I hope they go with this idea soon ❤ Edit: I also think they should add a different kind of clan wars where 5 players in a clan with the same TH can merge together and create a bigger base layout where 5 of them can edit their base and defend it, then the opposing clan can attack with 5 members at the same time too.
A solution I can think of for the next Town Hall is to have two variants (one focused on defense and the other on DPS), introducing new upgrades to all structures that would adapt in some way to the active variant. For example, Tesla towers in defense mode could stun troops within a small radius when emerging from the ground, while in DPS mode, they could have a beam similar to the Mega Tesla but with fewer bounces. Players could switch between Town Hall variants at any time, adding more variety. This would allow for a longer gap between the release of new Town Halls, as players would have a larger volume of upgrades to work on for each Town Hall.
They could just cap it out at Town Hall 20 and introduce some kind of endgame system for maxed players to grind out. Idk maybe some way to grind gems for cosmetics or expanding the ranked play so that more casual players can compete. I don’t see why we NEED new th levels every year, especially since a new troop/defense/mechanic doesn’t facilitate adding a whole new th to the game
its good for lower th players, i remember when th12 was long af now it takes like 2-3 months to finish and if they do more cost reductions it will be even faster
I love how from 1 to 11 town hall there are massive game changes. But after that you are playing at the same scale as previous town. If they changed the game from small scale strategy to larger scale it would be cool.
to all the players complaining that COC is becoming pay2 win or they're just trynna extract money, you guys aren't old enough to understand how difficult the game used to be earlier
yep no one wants a TH every year but I see too many crybabies now-a-days in comment sections of different clash of clans videos claiming that coc has become p2w and stuff like that. it really annoys me@@nRGM7-or9se
It's just forcing every player to rush if they're a new or mid level player. I think that supercell's best strategy is for a new account to get maxed in around 5 years with all builders down. For each new town hall, the upgrade and resources required for the lower town halls go down to fit the timeframe.
I think a way to fix the th spam problem in to change the release time to every two years and focussing on things like balance changes, Graphical improvements and quality of life changes
Couldn’t agree more, wish this could be shared with supercell to get feedback from us. Me as a player with 5 accounts it is indeed very overwhelming and difficult to keep up with every Th coming out every year even with gold pass and any other accessories as my goal is to max out each base
i think a problem with clash right now is that currently its quicker to strategic rush instead of maxing everything if you want to become a maxed out th16 or even to just keep up with the new th you need to rush to keep up
I don't mind them releasing new townhalls as long as it doesn't feel rushed and you're able to upgrade everything before a new one comes out. Sure, as a th12 I won't be able to use these new features any time soon but I'll be excited to slowly make progress towards the new features. I'm pretty close to maxing out th12 and I'm excited for the RC and pets for the th after that. These things feel like they keep the game fresh when you reach something so I don't mind waiting. If people nowadays have low attention spans it kind of seem like they are the issue, though of course from a financial perspective it makes sense to cater to that audience even if they have an issue instead of the game.
I think they’re doing fine, since each town hall introduces new mechanics to players to learn that keeps them engaged. The goal of the game is not just get to maxed, it’s to have fun attacking and strategising in war. These players get exactly what maxed players got a few years ago with much cheaper and faster upgrades with the addition of new content and QoL improvements. I do think that hero levels should be reworked or dropped in cost and time for lower town halls since th12 and th13 have more time in hero upgrades then th14 and th16! Also 2.5 years is a bit steep for a fresh to maxed account. With the last town halls being 7-8 months to max, when factoring time reductions, it’d be roughly 4.5 years to max.
I wonder if they could add some side village that was completely maxed automatically giving players access to things they cant because of time. Like a monthly event or something that is a week or so long that allows you to enjoy the higher town halls.
Imagine after a certain TH lvl, you could “prestige” in a way that puts you back to the start but with certain perks like every time you prestige your builders can build a certain percent faster, or imagine adding new content to earlier TH to allow newer players to experience some new updates rather then seeing a bunch of new troops/buildings/spells/hero’s that they can’t even unlock until 5 yrs of play time
There should be a system of some sorts where you can more easily reduce build timers. Maybe even the stars from battles could reduce certain amounts of time from building depending on what town hall you have
if they keep up that schedule it will literally be impossible for free to play players to ever reach the max town hall. It takes 4 months of upgrade time if all 5 builders are running continously, to max out th12 if you just upgraded from max th11, with each TH adding another month of straight building time It's very difficult to have enough resources for 5 builders to run 24/7/365, and that's not including walls which costs hundreds of millions, and above th13, BILLIONS of resources to max
As a player with 18 accounts and 5 of them being th16 and the rest being maxed out 1-9 I can tell you it’s all about dedication they just want the general player base to be in the middle and the pros need the content to keep it interesting and fun if not then you got the big founders of the game not spending and quitting, they probably will figure something out tho to create a new revenue stream and that will hopefully bring back the th hype
My suggestion is that they add new troops and spells for lower town halls (themed around them). This raises the sentimental value and makes the content accessible to everyone. It also represents a chance to revisit the old themes of past updates, I think that would be really cool.
It takes way too long for heroes to upgrade, and with the introduction of equipment lvls become less relevant, ±65% of my personal favorite attacks require my queen and tbh the builder base(otto's one specifically) just feels like they ran out of ideas but now i HAVE to max it just to get an extra builder in homebsase.... Also id recommend time spent at a specific th should be more or less the same
I believe supercell has said that the upgrade times will be constant from now on. Making it so they will only need one time decrease in the lower town halls. I think this is a good solution to it as it will only decrease the sentimental value of lower town halls a tiny amount while keeping the value of higher town halls the same.
They definitely made builder base a lot more fun that what it was all those years ago. I feel like if they did something with builder base that involves more community and collaboration with other clan mates, that would make people start caring about it more
I started my account Jan 11 of this year. I am currently TH12 and pushing hard. I think your video only makes sense for players that max each town hall.
On one hand, releasing more Town Halls at a yearly rate will mean a good amount of players to be behind, but on the other hand, there's always something to work towards.
I'm a TH 14 player who usually buys the gold pass and I still feel overwhelmed with the town hall updates. They also add so many updates that makes it harder to get back into the game like the blacksmith. I also liked the mashup event because it was refreshing with a gold pass type event, but now they come so often so they don't feel special anymore. If they slow down on the updates it would be a way better experience for new and old players.
I think it's not so bad that they'll release a new TH each and every year. We only had 2 new buildings and a new pet with TH16, so if they continue at this pace, it'll be like more frequent updates with less new content which will be better imo cause upper TH levels will be easier to max out. Like I've complete upgrading my TH to 16 yesterday and both of my scattershots are already maxed-thanks to hammers, started building all the 4 merged defences. If I continue at this pace, I'll max this level out even before a new one comes out in 12 months. What actually boring about this game is in TH13 you have to upgrade your defences twice. They should remove it and none of the TH levels should require a player to upgrade same thing twice.
People still don't understand that what makes a game good is the "feel" of it rather than the mechanics/gameplay. There used to be a magical aura around the highest TH level. That's gone now, and people feel it.
They should add stages to each town hall that give a little bit more of the stuff that town hall offers and release a full new townhall every few years
I joined when townhall 10 was added and it was exiting when 11 was announced. The warden was one of the coolest heroes to have but they ruined him when they updated him. In my perspective anything after town hall 12 was just ruining the game.
Eventually if upgrades take more time at every town hall , there will be a literal point where it's impossible to stay up to date to the max town hall level
As a free to play player in th 12 I’ll explain to you why adding a th every 12 months makes sense. At th 12 it already feels like progress is super slow and time reducción coming with a new town hall helps a lot. Making the maxed out players spend money is good because it asures that they will never have to include adds or make the game cost money. I also don’t feel ignored because they also seem to add s bunch of features that benefit smaller players like the new spells, the clan capitals, the special events, the new hero equipment, builder base 2.0, etc. Finally, it’s exciting seeing content creators use and experiment the new troops and towers that come with the new th.
as a free to -play for 9 years im still in town hall 10 i was hyped for town hall 13 but now town hall 13 doesn't feel like a high town hall in feels like a town hall 8 of the past
Release Town Halls approximately every four years, with smaller updates sprinkled in between, such as quality-of-life improvements like better UI changes, bug fixes, nerfs and buffs, and new troops for lower levels (though these should be less frequent or seasonal). Most importantly, focus on communicating with the players and addressing what they want. Right now, many players continue playing simply because they’ve invested too much time to quit.
@@SwiftyyGaming actually no by adjusting it to 4 years would make new town halls extremely exciting. Also i also suggested adding quality of life changes and small updates sprinkled over in that 4 year gap
I don’t think there is an amazing solution here as they will eventually have to introduce a new Town Hall and over the course of time this means things like th20 or th30 will come around. I think the best solution they have to slow down updates for the main town hall and develop out the “secondary” features and ways to play like Builder Base and Clan Capital. By expanding the breadth of content they can at least slow down the inevitable march of th creep. The only other solution I see is something like a th “prune” where they remove some TH levels entirely and spread the list stats throughout the remaining levels. This reduces the number of upgrades required to reach max but at the cost of removing some iconic clash levels. Not a great solution but it is one nonetheless.
I do think they should shorten upgrade times of everything but then progressively still have it take longer so basically the time it takes for everything to upgrade gets shorter for the earlier levels, but still progressively increases overtime, so let’s say your Townhall took six days to upgrade or a canon took three days to upgrade, a building of that nature that is double the level should then only take six days more or three days more respectively, that way it is still increasing, but not very much
Add a sandbox mode, kind of like the developer build, have it switch kind of like the builder base where you travel to the different area, where you can attack other “sandbox” bases and build your own, and have heroes at any level, idk how it would work exactly, but then newer players or players at a lower town hall, won’t get left out of the fun of attacking or using the new troops/heroes
Here's my comment on Judo's video where he mentions the recent Dev Q&A: "The idea of a new TH every 12 months is frightening to me. Amateur players that have only been playing for a year or more will never be able to reach the max town hall, which I believe is a common goal for every player. I just got to th15 last month, and 4 years ago I calculated that I should be ready for th17 upon its release. However, hearing this new 12 month schedule, I believe I won’t be able to reach the max town hall until th18 or possibly even 19. That’s a year or two more of grinding to finally meet the max town hall. I’ve been playing for nearly 7 years, and I’ve always wanted to be at the max town hall (which was th11 back then). Another reason as to why I think this is bad, is that the sooner they have to release a new town hall, the less time they can spend on quality of life updates, like clan recruitment, or the cool stuff on players' wish lists. Updates that might be more interesting, also better at getting new players into the game, than just another town hall that only 5% of the player base will see upon release and only 15% will ever see."
I was th10 when th13 was released, now I am a th16 from a maxed th15, you can do that too. The 100 days video by Judo shows that new players can progress faster then most people think (Also the ftp series that Kenny Jo did a while ago shows you that with higher th). Plus the team was always able to do quality of life updates, like the second heroes' life
@@envar1 I bought only a few gold passes, never bought any other offer (scenaries don't count). I did th14 in 8 months and in those months I bought like 4 gold passes
The thing is that the upgrade cost to max a town hall needs to be less than the new town hall cycle. They tried to keep the game fresh with the builder base or the clan capital but most players aren’t interested in them. They hit a barrier with upgrade times with TH 15, they were to long and a lot of players stoped playing actively. The same thing that happens when you are maxed and there is nothing to do. So the only solution for the active player base is to make the TH upgrades more frequently. A solution for new players might be to combine some of the early TH levels. Fuse 1-3, 4-6 and 7-9 in one level so they keep more of there value. Maybe there are other solutions but you should never compromise the experience for active players to much because of new or casual players.

~2 years between TH was enough time to max my base before the next town hall came out but ever since TH 15 came out I’ve been super behind 💀only unlocked 5 pets and maxed 2, troop upgrades are ~1/2 of the way complete, and I’m probably only 1/5 of the way through TH 15 currently which took the last 3 months coming from TH 14 but this probably would’ve taken 6+ months without upgrade reductions to time
Hell nah that would be boring
@@saymyname2310thats the biggest piece of dogshit - what are you talking about💀
An often overlooked thing is that when you go too fast from one th to another, you dont get the full experience of the town hall. I remember going from 6 to 7 to 8 to 9 to 10 and every th had its own new troop and hero that you need to learn because you would be on that town hall for some time. Now you just rush from 11 do 16 using only e drags and not getting the full experience like before. There are little to no incestives to using new troops but before you just had to use them, more or less
exactly. th-11 doesnt feel like how it used to do in 2017, when it was fairly new.
Yeah
E drags are one of the hardest spam armies to master. They literally got buffed as they were so weak. As a th 16, I respect anyone who uses off meta troops like e drags or super drags instead of root riders super archers clone blimp and stuff.
@@Lucy_595 as a person who uses super dragons, thank you.
The problem is that e drags are hard to master to get 3stars but really easy to spam and get 2 stars, so everyone think theyre no skill

“What’s the point of upgrading buildings just to suffer.”
They should do more stuff with Clan Capital too and maybe even builder base. Like a builder base gold transfer or SOMETHING that can reflect back into your Town Hall. Add more attacks to Clan Capital, add more districts, they can use that as a sort of testing ground for new troops and ideas
They added recently…? So what are you crying about?
@@zacharyevans84891 star th13 is always better than a 5 star th12 so on and so forth. So i dont see any problem there
This isn't a good idea cause the one's who are playing from a very long time might have patience but you can't expect someone to have patience when they enter into the game and see 16 levels to townhall and they get stuck because of their upgrades and can't enjoy higher townhall levels.

Im pretty sure it has been said somewhere by the dev that they try to keep a consistent 4 year timeline of consistent play to max out, that's why there are such massive reductions. the low townhalls recently are beginning to take a very short amount of time to get through and catching up is not as bad as it used to be.
But that subtracts from the fun of being able to truly experience every town hall.
I think it would be a cool feature to make multiple builders work on a building, each additional builder reduces building or upgrade time by 10%
There are three main villages it would be cool if they focused on builder base and capital hall sometimes in order to buy more time for people to level up. Of course this could be kinda boring for the top player but at least they will have events and the capitol/builder base content to keep them busy.
Yeah, unfortunately they said that this year is the year of the home village and that's what will be prioritized 😭
I feel like this happens to every company once they figure out how to make colossal amounts of money
I recently started a new account and was surprised by how quickly you zip past the early townhalls now with the new reduced time/costs. I honestly felt like I was missing out on the low level gameplay.
Did the same thing, and felt the same way.
Its not fun attacking unless reached TH11 at minimum.
I startér it too it is quick but im maxing so its little longer but yes its quick
I think the bigger problem is the clear pay grab/wall they are doing by introducing equipments the way they have
You can get Them for free?
@@kreiselverkehr1814 yes but it takes ages to upgrade them
with the current rate of things as a free to play each time a new town hall releases you can finish one th and get 10 percent through the next (excluding th 13) this means that you should be one less town hall behind every 10 years
there are still flaws with this, like this assumes you take no breaks from the game and always have all builders active, and of course it ignores the lab.

How much time it needed to upgrade your th7 to th11?
For me the best alternative is making so every low th level takes 1-2 months mid range th takes around 4-5 months and the newest th takes around 10-11 months so low th players can progress fast mid range players can progress 3 th in a year and almost max players can get max just before the new th

It’s contradictory as more buildings will need more slots to be made
Thats why they made the new feature of combining buildings

2. More features for town halls below 14

More and more builders that can only be unlocked after a few ths ?
They need to make something competitive accessable from every th, but which separates each th completely from the other, such that maxing and mastery is incentiviced, which is what gives players the value and sentimental connection.
You mean Like a Rank System?
They should make separate legends league for different th levels so non max players can enjoy improving in the game
Legend league for different TH's would be great. I'm currently @14 taking on 16's which is a bit frustrating. The way the game is heading I feel I might as well rush because I'll never catch up to top th and be able to compete.
@@francisbacom6953 you mean for the 2 weeks they Need to Max out th 8 or smth💀
It's already done, by clan wars matching mechanism
I think it would be a great idea if they release a th in 3-5 years and they just release alot more Upgrades to do!
THREE TO FIVE? LOL. The entire player base would be gone by then. This is ridiculous
@SwiftyyGaming yeah but everyone would be hyped af
I think they'll add a tech tree or somtin for the upcoming town halls so that each player can have different variations of their own choice for their townhall and possibly different variations for each troops. I hope they go with this idea soon ❤
Edit: I also think they should add a different kind of clan wars where 5 players in a clan with the same TH can merge together and create a bigger base layout where 5 of them can edit their base and defend it, then the opposing clan can attack with 5 members at the same time too.
Watching after th17😂
But the eagle😢
I agree. TH8 was very satisfying to reach before when TH10 is the max townhall.
Now, it requires less grind and arent that special as before
A good idea is stopping at a certain townhall, then adding more features. An example would be hero equiptment which came out as early as th8.
Not sure what the max lvl town hall should be. Around 19 maybe?
Recommendation: automatic employment of 3 builders from cheapest to most expensive buildings, 1 for each resource type

It's just forcing every player to rush if they're a new or mid level player. I think that supercell's best strategy is for a new account to get maxed in around 5 years with all builders down. For each new town hall, the upgrade and resources required for the lower town halls go down to fit the timeframe.

Glad someone's addressing this issue
i think a problem with clash right now is that currently its quicker to strategic rush instead of maxing everything if you want to become a maxed out th16 or even to just keep up with the new th you need to rush to keep up
Why is that a problem
@@kreiselverkehr1814 the game is forcing f2p players from th14 and below to rush or they literally cant make it to the new townhalls
@@Jellyz15z you can Max out th 13 in Like 6 months and 14 in maybe 10 when youre really Slow. So what Are you complaining about
I don't mind them releasing new townhalls as long as it doesn't feel rushed and you're able to upgrade everything before a new one comes out.
01:25 what is the name of that lo fi song? pls😺
I wonder if they could add some side village that was completely maxed automatically giving players access to things they cant because of time. Like a monthly event or something that is a week or so long that allows you to enjoy the higher town halls.
Imagine after a certain TH lvl, you could “prestige” in a way that puts you back to the start but with certain perks like every time you prestige your builders can build a certain percent faster, or imagine adding new content to earlier TH to allow newer players to experience some new updates rather then seeing a bunch of new troops/buildings/spells/hero’s that they can’t even unlock until 5 yrs of play time
Its a good choice I guess they may apply this with very slight chance when they will be going down.
There should be a system of some sorts where you can more easily reduce build timers. Maybe even the stars from battles could reduce certain amounts of time from building depending on what town hall you have
if they keep up that schedule it will literally be impossible for free to play players to ever reach the max town hall. It takes 4 months of upgrade time if all 5 builders are running continously, to max out th12 if you just upgraded from max th11, with each TH adding another month of straight building time
It's very difficult to have enough resources for 5 builders to run 24/7/365, and that's not including walls which costs hundreds of millions, and above th13, BILLIONS of resources to max
I feel like if they did something with builder base that involves more community and collaboration with other clan mates, that would make people start caring about it more
1:11 I'm still using the same base just modified for th15 😂
Beaker, Judo, and Godson honestly really made the game blow up imo
I started my account Jan 11 of this year. I am currently TH12 and pushing hard. I think your video only makes sense for players that max each town hall.
Rushers are noobs
On one hand, releasing more Town Halls at a yearly rate will mean a good amount of players to be behind, but on the other hand, there's always something to work towards.
I'm a TH 14 player who usually buys the gold pass and I still feel overwhelmed with the town hall updates. They also add so many updates that makes it harder to get back into the game like the blacksmith. I also liked the mashup event because it was refreshing with a gold pass type event, but now they come so often so they don't feel special anymore. If they slow down on the updates it would be a way better experience for new and old players.
my friend started playing 2 months back, rushed to th9 and farmed, is now a th10 max, took me years to do a few years back.
We need 1 day 1 town hall update
They do that at many lvls, th10 and th11 have 2 lvls, and th9 gets 2 lvls of walls
I started playing this game to build up my patience and attention span

Damn, nostalgia at those intros of OG Clash TH-camrs
People still don't understand that what makes a game good is the "feel" of it rather than the mechanics/gameplay. There used to be a magical aura around the highest TH level. That's gone now, and people feel it.
I think it’s fine, bc there’s so many players already that I think it won’t matter if they keep adding town halls
Four years? Way to kill off the entire top player base 😂
Hearing “Galadon” just made me smile and hit with some intense memories
the 18 months felt so perfect man, why did they have to change something that wasn’t broken
The best idea about to fill our hype is only by playing clash of magic 😂❤
Here's my comment on Judo's video where he mentions the recent Dev Q&A:
"The idea of a new TH every 12 months is frightening to me.
Plus the team was always able to do quality of life updates, like the second heroes' life
@@the_FR4 are you free to play?
@@envar1 I bought only a few gold passes, never bought any other offer (scenaries don't count). I did th14 in 8 months and in those months I bought like 4 gold passes
@@the_FR4 I also did th14 in 8 months
