They manipulated & gaslit Sterling into accepting a fight at a massive disadvantage at UFC 292 & Aljo's manager did nothing.

There is no real evidence UFC did this to give O'Malley an advantage because you missed out some important details.
-If you look back you will see UFC had only ONE main event worthy fight for Boston. There was no other main event worthy fight available,of course UFC tries to make happen the only fight they have .This was to save the Boston ppv and not to give a certain fighter an advantage(or at least this could be the reason as well)
-You didn't mention O'malley was injured too,he had a serious rib injury, here it is POSSIBLE UFC would have tried the same thing to convince him to fight(because this fight was the only hope to have a main event for Boston)as they did with Sterling(in the case it would have been necessary to convince Sean to take the fight).
-Your are acting like the fight Annauncement was a big suprise but keep in mind not the UFC made this fight(o.k maybe they set it up with bringing O'Malley in the Octagon)but the fighters agreed (after Sterling vs Cejudo still in the octagon)both to fight each other and Sterling was the one who said (in the Octagon after his fight) to O'Malley "i want to fight you in septembre" or something like that.He was the one who was willing to have a quick turnaround(o.k Boston was 3 weeks earlier but still)in the first place.
So it wasn't Sterling didn't agree to fight O,Malley and it wasn't Sterling didn't agree to have a quick turnaround and both fighters agreed in the octagon to fight each other so it wasn't the badest thing from the UFC to assume they could announce this fight after both fighters agreed to fight each other soon(of course it would have been better to talk with both fighters before)
I can't see we have 100 percent proof here UFC did this all to give Sean an advantage for his fight with Sterling.
You can't only pick some clips and jump to conclusion you have to consider all important details.

There appears to be something of a closed shop. You go with a UFC approved manager or you don't get a contract. And what makes a manager UFC approved? Well... we just saw it. Then if you got a contract and managed to get a new manager (let's pretend), they probably will run your contract down on badly paid prelims and then see ya.
Tim Simpson is an interesting player, here. Leon, Max and Jiri's manager. Moved from a big agency to his own set up, with a deliberately small client list. He seems to do right by his fighters... be curious, if that is fully true, why he would be allowed. Though they were all in the UFC before he started his own management company.

Complaining about deception and unfairness taking place on the world stage (such as big UFC events) is like complaining about the chameleon hiding from the insect, or complaining about the snake hiding in the grass.

Dana praises Jon Jones but remember how quick he turned on him when Jon didn’t want to take that quick replacement fight against Chael Sonnen when Dan Henderson was out of the bout. Even when Jon vs Ngannou was being talked about and Jon simply wanted to be paid fairly, Dana immediately went to the “he’s scared” narrative and then ironically did the same thing to Ngannou lol smh I miss Ngannou but I’m glad he left them the way he did. That manager is Tiki Ghosn. He actually has a pretty decent track record as a manager among happy clients. The fact that he's staring at the floor during this does not mean he doesn't care. I've been in business my entire life and when doing negotiations and someone else is talking, I tend to look at the floor and listen because it allows me to hear everything clearer and not be distracted, and it allows everyone else to have the floor and express both sides. Once everything is said and done and everyone has said their piece, I'd advise my clients in private and see what they'd like to do before I begin negotiating for someone and fighting a battle that they may not want to be fought. We don't know the entire situation here so we can't make such blatant, unfair assumptions. Some meetings are about manager negotiations and some meetings are not. No contracts had to be signed on the spot in that meeting, and typically there's a lot of talking and mulling things over before they send you a contract. I don't disagree with the gaslighting or methods used to coerce fighters into taking fights at a disadvantage, but it would be unfair to sling mud in the direction of someone undeserving without all of the facts and information. Aljo has never come out and said that his manager wronged him. His gripe is only with the ufc.

Ufc is an entertainment business masquerading as a serious sport. And they alternate between the two depending on whats more convenient at the moment. Thats where all of this bs stems from. Fans expect meritocracy, ufc wants to make the most amount of money. So they make all these moves like bmf belts, giving their favorite fighters huge jumps up the rankings etc and just spin it during press conferences talking to their lap dog journalists. Dana has contradicted himself more times than I can count. It is what it is I guess, but frankly after 6+ years of watching every ufc event I am now becoming less and less invested.

That's not how a sport should operate. And I get it to a point, its their responsibility to the shareholders, they may feel its whats the best for the company's growth blablabla. Just be a little more subtle about it. It feels like recently they really don't care anymore if they insult fans' intelligence with some of these moves, not to mention the fighters.

Omalley eye pokes and kicks Pedro's minos balls and gets a no contest and immediately gets a contender fight against Yan. Loses and they rob Yan and give it to Sean and just immediately decide Sean gets a title shot. Coming off of CAUSING a no contest, and a robbery of a win. Clear favoritism. You're not wrong, but I have little sympathy for Aljo for two reasons:
    1) Three months isn't a totally unreasonable turnaround, it's not as though they asked him to fight two weeks later. One month to rest and heal, two months to train. If that's not enough time to make weight then you're either not living the lifestyle of a professional athlete or you're in the wrong weight class.
    2) He didn't deserve to become champion in the first place. And what was the first thing he did after being gifted the belt? Take a year off to get surgery, further holding up the division. If he's not in the UFC's good books it's not hard to see why.

If Aljo came out and flatlined O’Malley he damn sure would have ingratiated himself with the MMA community and silenced a lot of his critics.

Shows you how strong khabib was in his conviction. These people mustve tried their absolute best to try to get him to fight conor, and he still said F your money.

Fact is, people with the belt have a habit of taking layoffs, swerving guys, etc. so the ufc has to apply some pressure to keep the devisions moving. 2) 3 months is a perfectly legitimate time frame between fights. Youre acting like they put a gun to his head and forced him to fight in a week. 3) im sure he was adequately paid to take that fight. End of the day the UFC is a business- of course its going to have wants and needs. So long as everyones adequately compensated, they can make virtually anything they want, happen. 4) a longer layoff doesn't play to Seans favor. Active fighters do better. So that whole point there falls apart. Not to even mention that training camps are grueling and typically last about 3 months at the high end, regardless of how long a certain fighters layoff is. Assuming seans been not only in camp, but also specifically actively training for aljo for some 8 straight months is wildly uneducated.
Youre acting like they held him at gunpoint and forced him into the cage with a broken leg and 0 pay lol. Sorry but this video was pretty diabolical. Respecfully.
