I never liked how Sterling and Adesanya had five championship fights inside of 18-19 months and fans dissed them. Check the fight histories of other champions and find another champion that did that. So in real time, as I was watching, I recognized that the UFC was trying to throw you under the bus - as they tried with Leon & Colby. On a positive note though, I think the O’Malley fight turned a lot of your haters into fans. You are more popular than ever. Secondly, you really didn’t have much more to prove in the weight class and now you have an opportunity to add to the legacy in a new weight class.
