Aljo I am huge fan of yours. I have watched every single one of your fights since Marlon Moraes. Jake if you're reading this please let him know what fans expect from him. Aljo the executives holding powerful positions in the UFC DO NOT like you. Champions represent the sport. You are a man of principle and are a real person. You don't fake a persona or create controversy to bring eyeballs to the sport. Fake personalities like Sean Strickland, Sean O Malley, Colby, Paulo Costa speak want the fans want to hear. All I want is you to speak to the media in a way that sends a message across to the UFC FANBASE. When you speak to media on media day or to Ariel on MMA HOUR it's not your fans listening to your views it's the UFC fanbase hearing you and judging you mostly negatively due to the YAN fight. You are an authentic personality but you still are a public figure so when you talk about your state of mind or things pertaining to the Yan fights over an over again the general UFC FANBASE simply considers you as a whining bish. You come off as either an ally or a villain. Izzy is a villain in this sport. People tune in to his fights to watch him lose. He understands that even though he has massive support from his community.
I know you are a good person (at least that's what you come off from your videos and the videos from the SERRA LONGO team of Merab, Weidman, Matt Serra, Denis etc.). Please don't talk about the Yan fights anymore. It's been 4 years now. In your TH-cam videos I"d love if you send out a message to the UFC, UFC Roster and the UFC fanbase to not take you for granted and disrespect you casually. Even as a heel I could see that you were still a fun loving personality who goofs around and doesn't take things too seriously even with the beefs against Yan. I just wish to see you get the respect from the fans. I know respect is never demanded but disrespect is never warranted either when the person is genuinely not coming off in bad faith. It just seems like racism to me at this point. Aljo I wish nothing but the best in this sport. Cheers. Love from the UK.

It was said many years ago that someday the world will like bad and forbid good.
We see this everyday and dont think anything of it. Connor, Sean O, Sean S, Adesanya, more fd up the more popular.
Good honest ppl come last as predicted.

7:52 this is literally why Dana does like him…… if Sean has a defence on the belt in a fight he was going to win 90% of the time that the merab fight will pull in better numbers

I never liked how Sterling and Adesanya had five championship fights inside of 18-19 months and fans dissed them. Check the fight histories of other champions and find another champion that did that. They were the definition of fighting champions and UFC fans really let them down. I’ll always respect you Aljo.

Aljo id honestly think about getting a new manager. You shouldnt have had to even deal with being pressured, should be able to tell manger no, then have him get the date you want not what the contender wants.

You and Leon have been 2 of my fav fighters since back in the day when you were contenders. So in real time, as I was watching, I recognized that the UFC was trying to throw you under the bus - as they tried with Leon & Colby. On a positive note though, I think the O’Malley fight turned a lot of your haters into fans. You are more popular than ever. Secondly, you really didn’t have much more to prove in the weight class and now you have an opportunity to add to the legacy in a new weight class. Lastly there is a clear path for your best friend to go after your old belt, without any kind of weird drama. Onwards and upwards!!

Aljo f the haters. What bothered me of that clip was your manager sitting there with his tail between his legs. Instead of representing you and telling them that you were nursing a injury and didn't want to fight so soon...from that clip it look like you were representing yourself and he didn't want to ruffle the UFCs feathers. If they give you a title shot in this new division good. She how it plays out. If not, go join DJ in ONE if he advises you it's worth it. I think fighters in One look faster than UFCs i imagine it's due to the different way they cut weight

What bugs me with o malley becoming the champion is that he didn't beat the best version of yourself. In this sport the best should fight the best and the company should make sure to create for both fighters the circumstances to do so. Is this even a sport anymore ?

Since you fought O'malley all you do is complain bro. Nobody makes anyone do anything, move on, move forward, win more fights. I respect you saying that you don't want to keep talking about it, people SHOULD let you move on. Just ignore the baiting everyone is doing.
