It must take you awhile to gather all the information for these city videos. Chalk full of information, to which I didn't know a lot of. I like the backstories you give of towns and people. It connects dots for me that I didn't realize were connected. Please continue doing this. :) It gets me wanting to hop back into EQ every time I watch one of your videos. Also, I vote Halas first (although I would be happy watching either one). :)
Opal Dark Briar actually killed the High Elf Guild leader and trapped her soul into a gem. The Freeport Sourcebook also tells that the High Elf Guild leader is in a romantic relationship with the guild leader of the warrior guild and that (when she is too long in her High Elf form) she has problems to "come back" to her usual self

Even as someone that doesn't play a bunch of EQ/p99 I really enjoy these videos. Just wanted to give my vote for more of them regardless of which city you do.
I just got done watching your Qeynos and Freeport videos and was saddened that you didn't continue this series. I've always thought of Everquest as a DnD setting but its never really explained to you well and you have to dig for it. These videos are well made and help provide good overviews of the region and of some of the history and story happening in them.
Thanks for the kind words, I do have hopes to finish off all the cities in classic EQ some day, for now I have decided to focus my time on finishing all the things I want to do with my monk, so this series took a back seat. One day it will return

I played EQ nearly 20 years ago, I started right after Velious came out. I stopped shortly after LDoN came out but this immediately refired my interest. I wanna play P99 just from these 2 cities of Norrath videos. I played a 65 DE SK and so I vote for Neriak as the next one! This was AWESOME!!
I really enjoyed this video, much like the one about qeynos. I'm very much looking forward to the next one about rivervale. You asked for input about which one of the two to do next but honestly I'd love to see either. What I'm really hoping for you to do though is Kelethin. Whatever you do I'm sure I'll enjoy it very much so thanks for this latest addition to the series. Hoping to see many more!
Oh, one thing I forgot to say, you said you like to keep the videos around 10 minutes but for a complex place like Freeport I don't think you should limit yourself to that. Perhaps you could make several about one place, I would certainly watch them all.

Wished this area could have been better fished out and developed as it’s own. Like having an underground city from start to finish from guild masters to bankers, but the rest of these zones were rushed out as back then games didn’t make money until they were out of beta and released.

+SweGunner71 bards and enchanters have spells in the game that allow you to bind your camera to a NPC. You dont get to control it but you can control the camera as it moves. As for the rest its usually a mixture of levitate, feign death and video editing ;)

I played the game on the highest of raid guild level between 2000 and 2009 on live, (an Iksar Monk, whaddayaknow...?) but I never had any alts, so even though I know a lot about being a monk, I know next to nothing about other classes. I thought you were having a local installation of a game server, where you could script stuff and such anyway you wanted to. Like how Sir Lucan and that other guard were fighting each other. (Unless you were playing an echanter, and had the NPCs under a control spell, of course)
