*SPOILERS BELOW FOR EAST WIND PLOT!!*
He died in action right before the end of the Altian war. One of his last messages were sent out to Kerry. But he, knowing how bad the consequences would have been, chose to stay out of "Miller's blackops bullshittery" and chose to lead NATO to victory and bring peace and order to the Republic.
*SPOILERS FOR APEX PROTOCOL DLC TOO NOW!*
Miller would later go to the Pacific to finally hunt down the secret CSAT military project called Apex Protocol, part of which involved the Altian testing of the Eastwind Device. In an alternate universe, he shot himself before the eyes of Kerry, asking him to finish what he started: to take the Device to Miller. The absence of the secret weapon of mass-destruction would trigger the rapid redeployment of CSAT forces to re-invade Altis and take it back. Kerry would be forced to abandon the island, with a future latgely uncertain, ahead of him. Perhaps he'd end up at the nearby Malden, perhaps he would come back to support the guerillas until the end, perhaps he would be taken away with NATO and face all the consequences. Either way, this highlights how Miller's a weird guy, his missions indirectly risk the lives of millions, but in the end, he's doing all this to save the life of millions from CSAT weapons. It's hard to say, but he is almost the main antagonist of the plot, but he still is not. Or... what do YOU think about him and this whole thing?

I'm calling hacks, you have 60fps in arma...
its not hard to have 60fps+ because Arma 3 is a really CPU intensive so if you have a higher quality processer you will be running fine.
Dude I get like 70+ fps in arma. I only have a Ryzen 5 1500X and a 580. Its not hard to get good frames with a decent cpu
Arma poorly deals with AIs. add one hundred of AI units, it will destroy your FPS count

I've done pretty much the same as you did many times. But as soon as I destroyed that one APC(like you did as well), our side started attacking. Their noob APC rushed into the town and got destroyed, and then they ordered my to retreat, and then obviously mission failed. I did it so many times and got the same results. Sometimes the mortar sites are different. I am so confused.
I hope Drew plays through the rest of the dlc

it's a very light DLC thus it's half the usual price for this stuff
and Gendamarie helmets and vans :) and probs a few vehicle reskins i guess
those were already in the game and the camo for it has been in the game since it came out, you just couldnt use it.

You would think after the Laws of War DLC (which had amazing Voice acting) that they'd kinda keep that up.
I think its not a mistake, it's on purpose the Altis people have some accent.
its still dev build might just be a place holder and they will perfect the voice acting at a later stage near the end
it's not a placeholder lol. they don't record everything twice, once good and once bad just for place holders.
plus the dev branch is just for making sure there are no bugs etc. they don't change the game in any major ways
I think it is the accent, the British character sounds fine.
Drewski, curious if you've run into this, but it seems my fatigue system is all FUBAR, I go about twenty yards at a combat pace (no sprinting) with about half of my full loadout and I'm already in the yellow on the stamina bar...any reason why? I've got ACE and RHS but I don't think that should affect it, no?

I've hardly played Arma as I usually play squad when I'm in the mood to play this type of game. Has arma ever had singleplayer missions before or has it always been multiplayer only?
I did enjoy the small bit of this game I've played, the biggest thing that was hard for me was building loadouts based around certain factions and finding groups to play with.
I've been trying really hard to find that one video where you invade a town filled with Russians. You invaded with a rocket truck, an apc, and some snipers. My favorite video but I can't find it. Also MK18 master race

tac ops as they said are more heavily driven by combat veterans "its been long time ago and i might be wrong but there were vets who tried APEX and i wont be suprised if they went for vet support to assist em in tac ops" who knows their stuff in the area but still have to keep it arcade for new commerce so i think a veteran arma player can finish the missions in no time

the Arma balistics get funky with buckshot and birdshot, so that causes issues

it takes place before the campaign. Even before the prologue. AAF toppled the Altis government and your group are the loyalists who fight against them.
Its nine years prior to "The East Wind" campaign.
