The Special K software application is much better than the River Tuner RTSS software for capping the FPS (the game will be much smoother), especially when playing at a fixed refresh rate, because there is no way letting the frame rate fluctuate up and down can feel smooth as the Legion Go does not have a Freesync display. It's best to use the Custom Utility Resolution software application to add a few custom resolutions and refresh rates to the Legion Go's display and then play your games with a fixed refresh rate with Vsync enabled in the Lossless Scaling application, but disabled in-game for absolute smoothness. There is a new version of Lossless Scaling that has been released with a resolution scaling slider that does not reduce the visual perception of the image quality of the game too much, but greatly improves the game's FPS.
I noticed something after using lossless scaling . The steam save synchronization is missed up . Always telling me cant synchronize and some times it say no network even though im connected . After uninstalling lossless scaling and revo tuner everything went back perfect . Did anyone have the same issue ?
Can you please show some more games with these settings? Specifically Red Read Redemption 2? Also how do you determine what to cap riva tuner at for each game? Thanks!
Hey man, Question. Everytime I try to put the resolution to 1000p the fresh rate jumps to 60hz, if I try to put it in 144hz it goes back to 1920x1200. What can I do?
I had the same issue . In the end I went to graphics settings in windows and choose the resolution with the 120hz . Don't bother with the settings in quick launch menue
Im struggling playing last of us, amf2 is great at around 74fps but i keep getting a GPU crash every 30 mins to 45mins, my vram is set to auto in bios, just cant seem to enjoy it much. All the latest drivers are installed, just frustrating..
I had to factory reset my Lego and have been playing with the stock driver. Does the adrenaline software work with the stock driver? Also 10,000p is insane lol
Meanwhile in the video he's showing how it gets 80+ fps lol just cause it doesnt work well on one game doesn't mean its bad in general, that's simple minded

Thanks for your work Tpen.
i'll go for another try for LS,
But i love the combo 800p + integer + AFMF 2
Thank you 👍 , keep up the great work!!
Awesome, mate! I'm always saying that nowadays, lossless is better than AFMF2 for performance. Only thing is I use LS1 for better image quality.
AFMF2 is driver level implementation
Far better than any software
Can you make a guide for FPS games with max frame rate while keeping quality good? For BO6 specifically. THANKS
Tks for the vid. You should do a comparison with Afmf2 to help us decide wich is best for each game

Hey thanks for the expirments! Will surely try. 🎉
Also since you have a pretty neat fps mod for ur riva, do you mind sharing ur file?

Should have vram set to 6 for a good balance but extra room for a heavier workload like more detailed and graphic heavy games.
Did you test if you can have similar results with amd's AFMF 2?
Could you please do New World with these frame gen settings 😭🙏 it’s the only thing stopping me from buying a legion go
Thank you, pls testing Diablo IV
ما اسم البرنامج الاخير الذي تستخدمه في عدد الاطارات؟
On my Lossless Scale app there is no AMD FSR option to select. Only FSR. Would that one be the same option to use?
what is the overlay you are using for viewing the system details and fps? It doesnt look like the one from lenovo legion space.
You can check out my description, I have put a link there for detailed video.

Nice, is 800p Integer plus lossless scaling not better than 1000p plus lossless scaling?
so the top left number showing 32 / 72. Waht is that? is it 32 FPS or 72 FPS?
32 boosted to 72
Lossless scaling sucks. I get 80fps with new amd update on hyper-rx mode on Marvel spiderman. With Lossless scaling i get 56. What a joke
