When I developed the no fucks given attitude even with girlfriends, they gravitated to me even more. Never let a chick know where she stands with you and never let her know where you stand with her. It's attachment behavior, it's looked at as "approval seeking behavior" and "people pleasing" even if you're doing it out of the kindness of your heart, women are hard wired to give negative feedback when you start doing that shit. I started getting complacent and started doing more things to make things less stressful, luckily the girl I'm seeing gave me some negative feedback, she's always very sweet and caring; but she let me know I was doing too much just by saying: "Why?" When I explained to her that she does so much for me, I wanted to return the favor, she said: "I really didn't think I was doing that much." She cooks for me, cleans up after me, offered to take care of me while I was sick, buys me food that I like when she goes shopping, and pays for dinner or dates occasionally. I offered to drop her off at the airport and check on her cat while she was away visiting family. I was then met with a barrage of investment tests for trying to lighten her load. Lesson learned.

And she even taught you a great lesson that enlightened but caused no pain. I would have done exactly the same thing you did with the airport and cat offer and said exactly what you said to her. It's difficult always being on the receiving end of favors, but having to be careful to avoid returning the favors and ruining the relationship. Maybe just do a favor once in a while. You legit just summed up my entire experience. I’m 19 and we’ll above average in looks and I know ism because I have girls messaging me constantly and approaching me in bars/clubs occasionally. Everything you presented is 100% true. Sometimes a guy can trick a woman for a little while by showing emotional attachment and needing them. But once they figure it out, they'll be the ones wearing the pants, and the relationship will not last long if the male doesn't quickly do a 180.
I've tested women emotionally and went through periods of random/spontaneous behavior. I've opened up, told them hpw awesome, beautiful, and amazing they are, etc. When I did this, it obviously made them feel good. But It also gave them power over me, or so they thought. Then I'd quickly flip the script. Stop texting, stop giving free validation, stopped seeking approval, and 100% stopped giving a fuck. When I did this, it subconsciously caused them to seek my approval and chase me. Why? Bc I got In their head. I wasn't doing what I did. They needed to know why. So, once I came back around and responded to their neediness, they would either keep it up a little while or stop the minute I became responsive. The best part is when they act super excited and happy to see u, hold their arms open for a big loving bear hug, staring and smiling at u as if they're in love, etc. It's all fucking fake. They need a positive response, and once they get it, then they go back to putting themselves on a pedestal.
It's tricky how to respond. Do you give in or no. It all depends on hpw much you want her. But don't want her too much bc you'll likely get hurt.

Funny I've been doing this unconsciously and notice a lot of girls gazing at me. This has always been my Achilles Heel in every relationship. That I have massive amounts of integrity and if I say I'm going to do something, Im going to do it. The problem is, it gets to a point where there's no dramatic tension because if I say I will do something, it's just assumed to be done. There's no sitting and wondering if "Will he let me down? Will he drop the ball? Will he mess it up? Will he... will he... will he?" So that when it does happen, there's no release of dopamine because it was already assumed and normalized.
Coupled with this (And perhaps more relevent to the video topic) is that I dont talk about things like getting groped on the metro, marriage proposals, baristas writing their numbers on cups, coworkers flirting and suggestively rubbing parts of themselves on me, etc etc because I find it rather tawdry when guys do that. Like "Guess what happened today, babe... bwa ha ha" I'm also not on my phone alot.
The result then being, that they assume nothing else is happening and Im getting zero interest elsewhere, so why would they want me? Even though when going out, I get women openly flirting with me in front of them (Of which they even complain about it) but compared to the perceived daily silence about it, they just seem like outliers and not the norm. So again, there's no dramatic tension... as these women want a guy that when he leaves, they have to worry if he's going to cheat or if he's an hour late coming home, their first thought is that he's with somene else, not that he may be dead in a ditch. Or when he's texting someone, to wonder if it's another woman.
So then I have to wonder if the solution here is actually to become a braggart shitbag who cant be counted on?

This is excellent resource for young man who don’t know jack. 3+ years in and your bonded to your wife, you have to learn to live with your wife in an understanding way. Hey that's so true it's unbelievable. All my life I tried to be "normal" as society wants me to be, I was always 100% spontaneously contrary to society's wishes and women always loved me.
