LOL. That caught me off guard. Almost spit out my frapuccino. Where could you possibly go after Pearl Necklace? I Want To Thank You, Arrested For Driving While Blind, or Sleeping Bag? Ha ha!
I clicked on this so fast. The realization was great….”You know what he’s talking about??” (Head shakin) “Yea”. The looks in this one was amazing. I hope everyone is having a great week so far. -Amber
Way back in the day I had a friend that was a DJ at a dance club and they were having a ZZ Top lip sync contest. We made beards from brown shag carpet and crafted a way to spin the guitars and rehearsed Sharp Dressed Man. We were the only entry so we won floor tickets for the show and their whole catalog on vinyl. I remember the show started with a huge white sheet covering the stage that a giant sphynx then snorted up its nose to reveal the band. What fun memories.
Saw them live about ten years ago at the site of the Woodstock festival (now called Bethel Woods). First time seeing them. Man they can jam...I just closed my eyes and was taken on a journey. Fantastic live.
Not my favorite song by “that little ol’ band from Texas” but I still loved the reaction. In fact I want La and Che to know how much I have been enjoying the reactions. And going through the Led Zeppelin catalog has been an awesome experience for me. Hearing some of the songs with fresh ears has awakened my appreciation. Even if my day is stressed or not great I know I will have some quality time on this channel to enjoy the music and reaction and comments. Keep it going guys!
There's a great tradition in Blues to incorporate sexual innuendo into the lyrics going back to the 1930s. It got by most people, but when you actually breakdown the lyrics of some of these songs that have been around almost 100 years, you begin to see just how nasty they really are. ZZ Top was just carrying on that tradition!
This was the generation of rock 1 generation apart from the great blues masters. The fingerprints of the blues run deep in rock from this era which IMHO makes it some.of the best
I have been fortunate to have seen “That Little Ol’ Band From Texas” Live 4 times. I recorded the last show (Full HD) before Dusty passed away. (at my page) Always an awesome show. You must see many other tunes from them including “Rough Boy” (official video)…. “Same three guys, same three cords, for five decades” - Billy Gibbons at last show.
Lookup "double-entendre" or "sexual innuendo" in your Funk and Wagnalls Encyclopedia and you'll see that little ol' band from Texas smiling back at ya'. True story...
Pearl Necklace from this same album is one of their Top 5 songs as far as I'm concerned. The album as a whole is pretty heavily influenced by the New Wave music getting popular at the time; Party On The Patio could've been a B-52s song without changing anything but the vocalists.
okay I have looked twice and if I missed it I apologize. I love this song by ZZ Top (ZZ Top - Gimme All Your Lovin' (Official Music Video) [HD Remaster]
This album marked a different trajectory for the band. From earlier traditional Blues, R&B and rockabilly blues to a more "Techno" vibe. This album has incredible rhythm songs like, 'Wouldn't touch her with a ten foot pole", "I wanna drive you home" and "Heaven, Hell or Houston".
Greatest Three Man Bands…. Jimi Hendrix Experience,,,, Cream… Rush… ZZ TOP…Stevie Ray Vaughn - Double Trouble…Crosby Stills Nash….Triumph…Emerson Lake and Palmer… Grand Funk Railroad… The Police… America.
You would realize how mistaken it would be to think that they did this for the men and only the men loved it ... unless you've been in a pool hall or a juke joint or a party, and women of all kinds just start doing really dirty dancing to it and it is quite the experience, to say the least.
Told my little girlfriend what this song was about in the mid 70’s she tried to argue it was two step boogie until I showed her the album and lyrics. She lost her innocence soon after!
They do another one called "PEARL NECKLACE"....
LOL. That caught me off guard. Almost spit out my frapuccino. Where could you possibly go after Pearl Necklace? I Want To Thank You, Arrested For Driving While Blind, or Sleeping Bag? Ha ha!
And, I got the 6, give me your 9....too
😂😂😂
My boyfriend clued me in to what a pearl necklace is 😳🤣
Got Me Under Pressure is another nasty ZZ song
"You know what he's talkin' about?" Priceless!
ZZ Top , kings of the Double entendre 🙂

I clicked on this so fast. The realization was great….”You know what he’s talking about??” (Head shakin) “Yea”. The looks in this one was amazing. I hope everyone is having a great week so far. -Amber
I was lucky enough to see ZZ Top live 4 times through the years and they were incredible every time. R.I.P. Dusty Hill🤘🏻👏
4 times LIVE🎵❗ I'm jealous. This era....real masters of their instruments...and live concerts for hours ...is a memory that can't be compared.

ZZ Too Always so dirty, grungy, bluesy, rockn, piss n vinegar jams! Love it guys! Great reaction!
They let the drummer go wild in “Velcro Fly” start to finish.

This was the generation of rock 1 generation apart from the great blues masters. The fingerprints of the blues run deep in rock from this era which IMHO makes it some.of the best

Hahaha! B 52's/ZZ Top collaboration would be amazing.
@@chopperdeath it really would
The tour I saw ZZ
He's talking about the Tube Snake Boogie (wink)
"Pearl Necklace"!!!☆♥︎☆◆☆
Tube snake is a surfing term for riding a wave under the crest of the wave, in the "tube" instead of on the top or "crest" of the wave.
Thats a keeper
okay I have looked twice and if I missed it I apologize. I love this song by ZZ Top (ZZ Top - Gimme All Your Lovin' (Official Music Video) [HD Remaster]
Next one Party On the Patio then Pearl Necklace

Pretty much all ZZ is good. Most of the earlier stuff is outstanding.
While we all know that they can really rock,, but they also can/have delivered true beauty as well,, ZZ Top "Asleep In The Desert" 🏜
ZZ Top "Blue Jean Blues" please. Love ZZ Top. "Got Me Under Pressure" is another nasty ZZ Top song 👍.
You guys need to hit up Pearl Necklace.........
Great choice young Men!!!!
Go Laa, Go Chee!
Next up from ZZ Top, I recommend "Nasty Dogs and Funky Kings" from Fandango. It just may be the best track they laid down.

i remember back then, all the bands tried to out-raunch each other 😆
Y'all have got to do Blue Jean Blues.
This is fun,we cover this and it gets the chic's on the dance floor
You would realize how mistaken it would be to think that they did this for the men and only the men loved it ... unless you've been in a pool hall or a juke joint or a party, and women of all kinds just start doing really dirty dancing to it and it is quite the experience, to say the least.
Pearl necklace next?
Party music fellas
Ten Foot Pole and Pearl Necklace.
Pearl necklace....a must
We didn't call 'em "Sleazy Top" for nothin'.😉
Cool how it starts kinda flexible, then immediately gets a point?
😆😂🤣
They keep it simple. :)
Excellent! You need to slip back over to more Black Sabbath, Under the Sun!!
Told my little girlfriend what this song was about in the mid 70’s she tried to argue it was two step boogie until I showed her the album and lyrics. She lost her innocence soon after!
