    Very Informative Video Dr. Anthony. Just to Confirm one small aspect. If a Non UK, foreign medical graduate clears MRCGP UK- AKT/RCA/WBA, then he or she belongs to the Substantially comparable group in the eligibility , is that correct?

      Assuming we are talking about taking the program in the UK as a trainee and gaining the CCT. The program is deemed as SC. He/she would still need to satisfy the assessors in relation the the other criteria. But yes they would normally get SC.

    Hello! Great video! I have a question regarding IMGs who want to apply for GP training. If I am coming through the competent pathway (PLABs + 12 months supervised work in UK), am I eligible to directly sit the PESCI for GP training?

      It doesn’t sound like you have enough prior GP experience to go down that route

      Not without some retraining. It’s a good idea though as it’s a TAFE level program (college). So you would stand a good chance of getting in.

    Hello doc ! Hope you’re fine……I am bit confused about gp salary in Australia. If someone who just finished gp training in Australia and just became a gp I mean fresh gp and he also has done gp fellowship exam…how much he will charge per patient?

      Thanks I am doing well. That's actually a very complex question to answer because GPs are able to charge for a wide range of activities. I have published some information about GP salaries on my blog site. Link in description.

    Is there any way RACGP can subsidize their PEP specialist stream-entry cost as it is very expensive for IMG coming from developing countries?

    • @CareerDoctor
      @CareerDoctor  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Ahmad I think you are better off asking the RACGP directly. Bear in mind once you are on a job in this stream you are getting paid in AUD.

    Hello, career doctor there is absolutely no way to contact you without booking an appointment which requires payment. I already made payment for abrother of mine in uganda. I made apartment for speciality pathway advice. Also attached his contact details, I don't know if you guys got in contact with him but it isn't good business if customers cannot get in touch with you guys without having to pay alot of cash. Iam Currently in WA in this is not good. Please reply.

      Hello Steven sorry you or your brother are having trouble getting through. There’s actually a range of ways to contact me. You will find my contact email here on the community tab. There’s also a chat, contact forms on my website and email address.
      When you purchase a call you also get info about how to book and a follow up email. It’s possible your follow up email is in a spam folder. So worth checking there.

      I presume so. I don't pretend to know that much about the system for recognition in India.

      @@CareerDoctor i have heard that you dont need to sit for pesci exam to become a gp if you have worked in australia for one year aftering entering via competent pathway uk , is this true?

    • @CareerDoctor
      @CareerDoctor  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you already have general registration here you don’t generally need to sit a PESCI
