- This video covers the complete installation of the MadJax 6" A-Arm lift kit for the very popular old-school club car DS. Nice work. For those installing in the future, don't apply the lock tight until you fully assemble with tires installed and check the tire camber. I've installed a dozen of these, and the majority of them need camber adjustments with the heims. Once camber is level, secure your heim, back out the allen key bolt, and apply your lock tight, re tighten. Cheers.

FYI good fastening practice for bolted joints is to have at least 2 threads exposed past the nut. Also the nylock feature of the nut is not touching the bolt threads.

Any chance for a video showing how to adjust the suspension/alignment after installing the lift?
Since you had bad bearings, maybe ordering the kit for plastic cap hubs (sealed bearings) would be better?
Nicely done and thanks for sharing your work. I'll be picking up an old 6 seater Club Car today and the suspension will be the first mod/upgrade. I'll be revisiting this video when the time comes. Now to read your discretion and check out the links.

Why are all the kits hiem joints. They wear out and freeze up.

After installing your wheels and tires did the lift cause the cart to have a raked rear end? I just did one and the rear is like 1.5' taller then the front.. but does not seem to be a common issue ive seen with others?
When you took the bolts out (10:24) , the threads were up... but you put them back with the threads down (14:35)
It doesn’t matter. Either way you can get them to fit. It’s just tensil strength
Original they come with the threads down.
What year is this club car DS?
Golf carts modified is ok. All i see are Precedent parts and no way to sort anything for model or year.
