I always had Ashe, Ana, and Widow at the same scoped sensitivity. 28% window size which I was told matches the hitbox. This vid helped to understand the system more tho so thank you. Widow is probably my worst dps and I think I’ll turn down my ease in. Just to say it I have always said that this kind of tuning is the #1 reason Overwatch struggles to bring in new players. I checked on every character including tanks, I 100% verified that 1% is the hit box. Makes it easier to hit targets faster and more efficiently in my opinion. Now I play all my characters with those settings except maybe Genji

dude. W SETTINGS!!! I have tried so many widow settings and none of them seemed right, but this totally fits my place style. Also what’s up with every widow player using 80 sensitivity instead of 100?

@@dr.cobalt6798 100 on dual zone is too much for me to be able to snap at people, or do a drag scope shot. Using it 80 with 43 scope aim works perfect for me. Easier to do 180 at sombras

I use 5% on window size. And between 0 and 55 for aim smoothing. Youre the first setting video thats uses something similar

@@iconicidiot5 thank you, I spent thousands of hours with a general idea of what the settings do and how they operate, but now knowing what each does in detail, my accuracy stays around 70-80% per game with 40-50 kills. Right now I’m ranked gold, but that’s because I have to take long breaks months at a time because of work. But I’ve been playing since over watch 1 2017. Highest rank was Grand masters. So I have a good understanding of the game mechanics.

Aim smoothing is just overall better at 100% that’s what I use it at idk why they put it at 99% but I have it a 100

@@Mattsover Genji is a little more complicated but similar approach with Genji you wanna be able to lead your shoots so you can’t have the aim assist move your aim too move, you also need a fast vertical sensitivity because if you dash in behind the enemy, you want to do a 180 turn fast. I use the same settings for Genji, that I use here but you can’t go wrong with making the aim sensitivity faster or slower
