for everyone in the comments who's not into console community. by default you can't play with mouse and keyboard, but there's some adapters (usually xim) which let you trick the console into thinking that you are actually using a controller. as a result you get a kind of softaim, but remember, you are playing against people aiming with controller. this obviously unfair disadvantage is not something that blizzard can control aside banning people using mkb (which doesn't happen). the highest elos in console have been full of mkb since the first seasons of ow1 and it's something normalized at this point.
Pretty much the main reason I made the switch back over to PC. MnK is rampant on console (in most games). I enjoy sitting on the couch and gaming, but there's no point if you're taking competitive even remotely seriously.

@@kawailotus6656 I've been gm since s9 on console, using a controller, a streamer and top 10 dps player, I'm telling you now, it takes no skill and has the same impact as aimbot if the ximmer has good xim settings, mnk experience and practice, this guy just isn't good and should not even be anywhere near tip 10, but no one good plays anymore and he's competing with plats while cheating, playing every day all day until he forces rank 1, anyone good will tell you this guy sucks, also xim allows you to turn with acceleration settings and yes you are partially correct this isn't enough to stop it from being a literal soft aimbot with players that belong in plat being high gm often.
to say that this is an aimbot is definitely cringe, but this simplifies the game for him, I don’t argue

Ive played sasuke once. Dude is a bastard who needs a xim which is cheating. It was one of the most unfun games especially when he had a mercy duo/pocket on him all game long. Not only is he a MnK Player on console but like I said he Xims meaning he gets aim assist ontop of already playing MnK against controller players who don't want to cheat. 1v1 him again but make him turn off the aim assist 💀. There are many other high ranked legitimate console players who deserve more spotlight even if they would fair worse

I use cronus on overwatch for mnk as hanzo but I've always left aim assist disabled. Felt kinda counter intuitive to have aim assist on hanzo with a mnk. Messed up more shots than it helped me land tbh.

Honestly is sad it brings us console players to even worse reputation about the aim assist, the guy on this video is definitely cheating. Aim assist on console especially overwatch is extremely weak and buggy compared to fortnine and Apex. Is simply helps to maintain the aim on a target for a very small period of time, I even wanted to put it all to 0 but is fricking hard to aim at someone, I know it's been 6 months but I just wanted to share this. Ranking on console is a joke.

90% of console players mainly dps in top 500 use mouse n keyboard with aim assist it’s called ximming on console those players overall lose respect from console community
I was Top 500 multiple times then as time went by the more i played the more i noticed MnK players taking over the lobbies with inhuman accuracy then i found out it was trending on console so i just got off OW competitive overall.
On top of that MnK problem people weren't playing to win leading to them soft throwing matches before they even start or just plainly quiting after dying 3+ times.

Ranked above Diamond is quite literally unplayable on console. I got to Masters on tank within a week of playing competitive and now I just end up against DPS ximmers (some even admitted to it after I asked them via message, they know Blizzard won't do anything about it) pocketed by 2 supports. It's just a pathetic excuse of a 'competitive' mode at this point. If they have Ximmers and your DPS are legit controller players it's game over 100% of the time.

Thats why you have to use a xim, xim just tricks the console into thinking youre using a controller so its basically like youre using mnk to control a controller, so turning speeds on controller and mouse are still the same and you got aim assist

W/the adapters they are hilariously inaccurate and inconsistent. The AA helps a bit but they blow without it. A lot of the GM ximmers r also GM on pc

I'd love this personally. Allowing people to just directly connect mouse and keyboard removes the "cost of entry" XIM creates. Free vs Paid KBM. Most people will not pay for the XIM just to get into controller only lobbies then.

its a lot easier to hit headshots on console ( i used to be a console player) since you have to use joysticks up, down, left and right. You said, how did he do that when he was peaking another way and then saw u and hit the headshot. Basically all you have to do is keep it head level and go right and it wont move up or down if that makes sense

It’s doable to make t500 with controller still, few friends made it, but it’s significantly more unfun.

(Im console) This guy isnt playing controller there is something called center treshhold which means in short that u wont get a left or right(x) input after making an input in the opposite direction until u reached the top of ur analog stick again so u can input (x) . Means there is always a small delay on back to back left to right or up and down movements with the aim its the limits of a analog stick and thiy guy clearly doesent have center treshhold

Pc KBM has no delay. XIM requires kbm translation before inputting actions. I’ve played both, without aim assist on xim is a disadvantage vs pc kbm bc they delay of translation and limited sensitivity

Games like Overwatch, a cronus isn’t gonna do that much for you. However, a XIM will completely give you an unfair advantage. Which is exactly what that guy was using in the video.

As a widow main, I challenged a controller non widow player in a 1v1, they had like 2 minutes on widow, 80 hours in the game total. I won both times but not by a lot, aim assist is terrifying. They hit every shot on me when I was in the air, long range, close up, they were terrifyingly accurate, I thought this guy was a prodigy but aim assist legit looks like soft aim lock, like yikes
Nah bro. He probably was using a Cronus or maybe XIM or something. Ain’t no way you can be that good on Widow with just a straight controller lol. Even with aim assist.

I played OW on console from release til this January when I got a PC. I mostly played QP but I could dominate games on hitscan characters and I thought I was just really good. Switched to PC and it's insane how much worse I am with a mouse and keyboard. Granted you still need to be able to aim even with aim-assist on controller and there are definitely differences in skill on console but it's definitely a huge crutch. Widow is definitely super easy on controller+aimassist, especially hook shots for some reason

You just need to develop the mechanical skill from keyboard and mouse. It’s something that I’m trying to do as well. I wanna learn keyboard and mouse with PC and not XIM on console like a faceless horse fucker.
aim assist slow down ur crosshair that all and widow takes aim only everyone that can aim can play widow in a 1v1 situation....

as a controller, its so obvious and hes not even hiding it
theres been many times where im widow and i get a good shot but aim assist messes me up and misses comepletely thats why i dont like widow that match but ive been recently been going back to widow and i found out i can turn off aim assist so im going to go in a match as widow without aim assist
Use aim assist. But lower the Window size. Anywhere between 25 and 50 feel great on widow.

50/75/100 Aim assist ease in is ok, depend on what u prefere.
No aim ease in.

The window is what is prob giving u a hard time, I personally have it on 20 but aim assist to 100
