Thanks for breaking out the multimeter! Do many after-market cables list their impedance as part of their specs?
No, hardly any do. Occasionally you will see NiceHCK say low impedance, ivipQ might post it but its typically 0.34. A couple boutique cable makers used to post their which were very low. It makes for good trivia.
Impedance and resistance are not the same. And did you megger the cable to see how will insulated they are?
I did not but that would be interesting. That measurement is a legacy concept from Head-fi. More of a curiosity for me that practical.

Investing the money into therapy would be more helpful for pricey cable guys.
