Alex, I love the way you are describing items and then suddenly interrupt yourself with "OH LOOK!" You exude a child-like enthusiasm. Charming ! This looks like a nice haul. And you even have some room to walk through it without tripping and landing on your face.
Alex has found a serious niche in buying these whole houses. Owners get paid and he gets a bargain. His knowledge and hard work paying serious dividends. This one in particular .
I own a foreclosure Cleanouts and junk removal company in Phoenix, Arizona. We get paid to clean out hoarding situations, estate cleanouts, evictions and so on. You can make money on top of getting paid. However a lot of people in the business have no idea what they are doing and seriously are throwing up history away at the dump. I try to learn about the items as I can. But there is a time frame of course. It is a dream come true for me with a bachelors in psychology it is helping folks and a treasure hunt each day. Make your day amazing and never stop moving forward!
This one hit me with the stark reality of we’re here one minute and gone the next, but rather than get down it makes you realise, enjoy life whilst we have it! to the full! I love joining you on these adventures and finding the gems each house has held within it’s walls. I’m sure the person would be glad he has some recognition of his good taste whilst here and has someone caring doing this job.
yes, so true. i also thought, and no disrespect to the deceased, is to maybe keep my house just a bit tidy incase this "one day" happens. sort of like when your "momma told you to wear clean underwear in case you're in an accident" ;) :)
I agree with that sherilyn4038, but I have a feeling based on all the cushions in his chair that he spent most of his time there with all his collections around him. I think he may have been ill and depressed. Possibly difficult for him to get around and take care of himself and no one to help. I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't order some of those items online. Of course, I could be totally wrong. At any rate, it was sad. Alex certainly scored though.
IMPORTANT! Alex, ask the manager if the owner had a storage area, which is located in the basement, near the lifts, usually. The unit number will correlate with the storage compartment.
Am I the only one who thought the miata with its lights on looked a bit surprised to be out in the sunlight? Lol. I see faces in inanimate objects a lot. A most excellent deal you got on this place, Alex. The cars and the coins, all the models and jerseys… I see why you struck a deal. Looking forward to more videos. Thank you for sharing the journey with us!
This one has a ‘life interrupted’ feel. They had amazing things around them. I’m glad they spent what time they had surrounded by the stuff they loved. 💕
I always make sure that my home is in great shape, no clutter, and everything is neat and clean. After cleaning out my father's place, I don't want anyone to come to my place and face a mess.
This guys place is like my home. I feel like this guy could have been somebody I would hang out with and enjoy the same things we collect. I actually had to sit back and think about how this is what my stuff will be like when somebody comes in and cleans my collections up. I sure was glad to see his bird was not in that in that cage. For me I have two small dogs I would cry over knowing if I am injured and could not take care of them. This does look like a good purchase for you though Alex.
Hey, I specialize in Miatas amongst other things and I assume mentioning the Miata in your title is why TH-cam recommended me your channel. First things first, huge find, can't say I'm not a little jealous (actually very jealous) Sunburst Yellow was a 1-year, 1992 only color, originally a 250$ upcharge. All SBY miatas were A-Package cars, although a Hardtop could be included as an option. 1519 were built for the US and 503 were built for Canada, more were made for other markets. About 1 in 1100 NA Miata is SBY. Your Miata retains the original Mazda badge/sticker in the correct location on the front bumper and the black paint guard on the rockers, those are usually forgotten during a respray. The factory OEM Hardtop is Crystal White without defrost/headliner. As defrost came to all Hardtops after 1992, and all 1990 Hardtops are Classic Red, I'm sure your top is actually much more rare than the Miata (sadly without the value) From my perspective of Eastern Canada, the SBY without the top will easily sell in the minimum 12000-15000 range assuming the paint cleans up well and there are no title issues. Another 2000 for the hardtop. One last thing, and this is VERY important, the rear rockers love to hold dirt and rust from the inside. If you're not going to keep it in inside, look into how to clean NA miata rockers (back and front). If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
The Miata is so cute! Can't wait for the next episode. 12,000 seems like a good deal. Hopefully we don't lose this format of video when the TV series comes out. ❤
@@beverlystickney, he mentioned he's got a tv series coming out this summer, no idea what it is but I'd say it's definitely about finding hidden treasures in some fashion.

Other than that, I am happy that you, Alex, are the person being able to profit from this find, because you are also of the kind that is respectful and enthusiastic about the items. Nice find!

What a beautiful little car! I love Miatas! It's kinda sad to see someone's house that looks like they'll be back any moment. But they're not coming back. It's really nice that someone like Alex will make sure the things this person enjoyed will go on to be enjoyed by others. Instead of ending up in a landfill.
My dad had a white 91 Miata that I only got to drive once. Those are such fun cars to drive! That is such a good find, especially in sunburst yellow and with a hardtop.
I know you’re all about the collectibles, but don’t forget that there is a Dyson fan and a Dyson vacuum that have pretty good value. I can’t wait to see the rest of this. Have a great day.
Can just see you and Melissa cruising down the highway in that sweet ride. Beautiful. Much respect for you and your family and all your hard work and achievements.
Reality hits hard. We could be one of those guys who went out not thinking that we are not coming back to our house. Watching these series made me a better person in terms of keeping my house clean. So that if i die, at least my house will be in order.
Funny story. I just recently saw a post from here in the USA where the people got PAID to clean out a hoard. So they get to keep everything and they’re getting paid. This was something l had wondered about because that is how it generally works around my area. Although l did know a man , who has passed, and he did what you do. Homer would pay for the contents and clear everything out. He had a a huge garage where he sold from, and l could spend hours there searching for treasures. He was a kind man who often cut me a break on furniture.

I always enjoy these videos but they have really made me deeply think about the things I want to keep in my house. Alex- I am sure that the former owner of these items would be pleased that you have bought them as you appreciate all these collectibles much more than many people.
That Studebaker dealer toy car looks just like the ‘53 Studebaker my father-in-law fixed up & painted! He also built a little model with my son, same colors, light blue with a white top! Loved that car! He sold it but still has a ‘49-50 with the awesome bullet nose…

I think the people who owned this apartment liked and bought lots of good things and feel very hopeful that you'll both relieve them and/or their family members of the stress of dealing with them and do well in selling them.
These clean-outs are interesting, yet sad. This one and the one before the ballerina's house, (pick-up truck and couple other cars) looks like the owners left one day having no idea they would not return. It just makes you realize how quickly a life can end. Makes me want to clear out even more. Through a series of unfortunate events I am down to the majority of the items I own stuffed into one bedroom, with a few things in storage. I need to sort through and rid myself of that load. I don't want to leave a burden for anyone. The Potter's house and Madame Rac's house were homes of people who had lived what seemed to be full, and interesting lives. It seems Alex is getting called for homes of people who appear to have passed away suddenly and at somewhat younger ages. Its great that Alex can come in and do the work that would probably be extremely difficult for the family. He does it with respect and care. If there is any profit to be made I can't think of a more deserving person. Alex does more than his fair share of helping others. This gives a sad situation a more positive end.

I hadn’t heard about the tv show, will it air in the US?
He gave the details in a couple of videos ago
A great Mothers Day gift for me!! Thank you Alex!!
I worked for Mazda when they came out. That's a very rare year and color. What I liked about them..... they seemed to have no top end. They just kept climbing. Fast . Made for women in mind. But guys liked them. Very omg cool to see such a beautiful car.
The personalised plate on the car was a woman name.
Holy smokes, looks like when my old man passed away. There's even a casting of teeth! Franklin Mint, displays in glass cabinets, plates and collectibles. Such was the life of the gentleman that passed. Just momentos and memories.
OMG i feel for melissa lot iof work is like moving houses all the time , nice videos like wacthing your videos plus i learn a lots from a bright beutiful brain you got ,
There is a lot of nice collectibles in the suite, you should be able to do pretty well!
That Miata is a score.❤❤❤
Great finds! I’m not big into sports but even I know those jerseys are not cheap. You must have been thrilled when you opened that closet. At the same time, it’s sad to see evidence of someone who had what seems like a pretty good life, struggling at the end by all appearances. The family is lucky to have you Alex, if only to spare them the emotional toll of the cleanup.
Wow - you hit the jackpot !!!
Wow this is a great find. Can’t wait to see more!❤
Love the Miata! Great shape!
My 6.7L Le Creuset Dutch oven was about $400, a 25th anniversary gift from my work. Love it!
Ooh, nice silver coin set!
What a CUTE little Miata. I would've love to have that! Great buy on all this stuff! Score! I hope you kept the silver.
“I can walk” as he enters the condo. Lol the last place was something. Love your content. Watching from Iowa in the USA. Look forward to the show each episode.
Congratulations Alex, not only did you purchase a lot of great stuff with this one, but the place isn't a trashed hoarder mess like many of the other houses so you won't have an excessive amount of cleaning to do! Double win!
You have a Dyson fan and stick vac there. Over $1000 combined ( new).
Shopping cart... The condo we lived in had shopping carts for all to use to bring things up from the parking garage
Quite the Score Alex!
These items are right up your alley.
You must be thrilled.
I am.
Can't wait to see what else you find.
And the house doesn't require ⚠️😷hazmat clothing.
Congratulations on a great buy.
💓💝💖❤💘watching your videos, thank you for sharing and have a great day!
I have a new favorite car.....I absolutely LOVE the yellow Miata!!! Interesting place with lots of nice things.
I hope it can get a clearsance cert. You dont need stolen cars. A 9:51 beautiful car and your gain because your hand is always open to give.
lots of gift items ... this guy was loved and led an active life .... imho
Cool!! Can’t wait for the streaming show!!
Great to see New Zealand All Blacks Kiwi on the dresser in the bedroom. Maybe there will be All Blacks jumper in the wardrobe.
I’ve wanted a yellow Miata forever and that one is gorgeous ❤. That was a great purchase I’m thinking. Lots of different collections, looks like the gentleman lived a good life which always makes it easier to watch these clean outs.
You for sure will get all your money back just from the vehicles and the Jerseys you found. All the rest is icing on the cake! I can't wait to see all the cool things you find in that place. I am glad there was no dead bird in the cage too. My heart sank when I saw the cage!
Beautiful car love the color sounded great when you started it I was surprised you did it again
You deserve to be lucky , you do so much for others 👏👍♥️
The Miata really did look beautiful sitting in your driveway.
LeCreuset pronunciation cracks me up. Exactly how I'd pronounce it if I hadn't taken French. It's le crew-say, no emphasis on either syllable. Excellent buy on this one!
Edit" corrected mistype "zay" to "say".
What a great video! So glad you found the silver! Nice finds already! The car will be such a reward to have detailed by Steven! Can't wait for the next video! Take care, Alex! 🥰
Love the car and my favorite color.
You have a star over your head! You have the best luck!
This miata find made me so happy for you, I cant stop smiling. Maybe the yellow 😂😂
Lucky you on the Le Creuset dishware. If Melissa doesn’t want it (would be surprised if she didn’t) you know, it’ll fetch great prices. Win-Win.👍
I like instantly fell in love with that Miata, it's so cute.
😁👋👍👍👏👏💕🙏🏻
Congratulations it looks like another winner
The Miata is SO cute, and the engine sounds amazing, so smooth!! Wow!! 💖
Wow the Hudson Sign is Amazing! Sure is a keeper. Also wrapped at the Castrol stand!
