I was never a big fan of zombie movies. Never saw much of a storyline. I watched this because of the hype and it’s so much more than a zombie movie. This one is about who you become in the face of adversity.

Thank you for this reaction!! If you don't mind movies with subtitles, I highly recommend another Korean movie, Oscar-winning "Parasite" to you. You won't be able to guess the ending at all. "Parasite" clinched the Oscar for Best Picture in 2020, marking a historic moment as the first non-English language film to achieve this accolade in the history of the Academy Awards. Besides Best Picture, "Parasite" also garnered Oscars for Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, and Best International Feature Film, achieving a remarkable four-win triumph at the ceremony.
Check out Oldboy (2003 Korean original, not the American remake with Josh Brolin) & I Saw the Devil (2010), both S. Korean movies if you're trying to branch out into foreign films, both 'could' leave you speechless(?) for a second or two afterwards and then make you dive into the deepest crevices of humanity?!

4:15 Parking lots in South Korea are clean and nice actually 😂 Most of them are like in that scene.
The Witch: part 1 The Subversion is a good sci-fi, action movie and also The gangster, the cop, the devil, which is a true story and also stars Ma Dong Seok (the big guy in train to Busan)
Yes parking garages in Korea are generally very clean. You can search for random videos in Korean parking garages and compare.

There are so many great SK films to watch. Some have already suggested good titles, and a few more are I Saw The Devil, The Chaser, The Gangster The Cop The Devil, Divine Fury, The Good The Bad The Weird, Mother, Howling, Thirst, The Host.
The Kingdom on Netflix is a Korean Zombie series set in historical times it was good. So is #Alive, Peninsula, Rampant and The Wailing
New subscriber, but I am liking what I'm seeing. I love this movie, it's a really good horror flick and great zombie movie. And even though this is technically a fantasy, the screen play, writing, and the well rounded characters give this movie a lot of heart where it counts.
I lost my father at a young age, so every time I see the ending of this movie it's gets me a little teary-eyed... any fantasy or sci-fi film that can do that while being what it is at heart means it's a damn good film.
