  • For Dim Sum Lovers, here is another cooking that you might like. Very popular since the 60's in Cebu's Ding How Dim Sum House. That my wife's nieces ask me to create one, so they can make their own at home. Since Pandemic temporarily closed all restaurant.

      Not from Cebu. My wife is. She is from Mandauwe north of Cebu. I happen to visit first time there to meet her family ( when we went there for a vacation ). Nice to know your same home town as my wife. ( BTW, She is 3/4 chinese 1/4 filipina ) Thanks for watching.

    Wow, I have never seen this dish before! It looks really interesting and my mouth was watering by the end. I don't have 3 tall containers to steam like that but I wonder if I could still figure out a way to make this in one bowl.

      This is just a derivative chinese claypot cooking for small individual serving size. You can always use other shape bowl to make this. Thanks for watching.

    I always have one of these everytime we eat at a chinese buffet. I also like those creamy seafood chinese soups that they serve in a bowl made of bread or a pie that you have to crack open with your spoon.

    Hey Chef. This looks like a Chinese style Campbell's Chunky Soup. Looks great. Going back on the previous video, I do plan to look into chicken feet sometime in the spring. The Asian grocery store closest to me is called Centra and it's located in Barrie, Ontario about an hour drive north of Toronto. It's really nice. They even have a takeout section. The food looks good but I cook my own with thanks with your help for making it possible.

    I just made it! I think I added too much white better to the gravy. So I had to add sugar to counter balance it for my little boy. But it’s sooooo good! Also, I didn’t make it in small bowls. I just made it in the rice cooker and taste good!

    My favorite dim sum rice dish is steamed sticky rice with Chinese sausage, shiitake mushrooms, and chicken (臘腸冬菇糯米雞飯) 😋.

      That gave me new idea, what to make later. Yes, Ding How's pork steamed fried rice will be next for me to make. Maybe will add ginger too. Was the ginger minced? or cut into very thin strips. ?
