Texas Attorney Chris Brasure discusses three of the most common myths and misconceptions about TBI that it's important for you to know the truth about!
Interesting , thank you . I'm a TBI person
Thank you,I was hit for years.
Thank you im suffering from tbi and its very difficult
Struggle is real
Please , where can I find the study about the women soccer players? I was a soccer player in the Army, Berlin Brigade. I headed the ball most of the time during games, 1981. The ball becomes heavier during damp and rainy days.
I have had service connected migraines since 77 , I prostrate every time , I feel this is really affecting my cognitive behavior ,would you call this TBI ? I WANT TO LET V.A. KNOW
well i did have hard hit by a car into left side of my head swallowed my tongue and choked to death. at 8 years old. What did i get sent back to school 3 days later and a ruined life. i have 3 knockout concussions since. and 2nd grade education. 53 years ago.
So acquired and probably hypoxic right? That would have roached your noodle. I'm sorry you went through that. Its not lost on anyone who has experience with this stuff.
@@RaneBane yes i literally choked to death, i was revived by a nurse who arrived. the car was going 30+ mph direct hit in the head. I was in the hospital for 2 days. unconscious for 11 hrs.
@@toddsutton5672 i got lumped over the head with an iron bar and depressed frx. No telling what was going on in there I didn't get a CT until 6 months later. The spect was 2 years after injury and I still don't have blood flow to that area. I think alot of damage was done by not getting time off of work after it happened. I worked for the van lines driving truck and lifting furniture. Doesnt look like medicine has changed in 40 some years. Again, I'm sorry that happened to you.
@@RaneBane ouch. that sucks. my skull was fractured. I went to the hospital but they didnt do anything i never had any treatment what so ever. It happened in 1970 in 2019 i went to mayo clinic and was diagnosed withe tbi. counseling was all i got lol. Sorry you got bashed that is really awful.

I should have been knocked out but i wasnt. I couldnt sit still after. Like stubbing my toe x 100,000. I felt like the termonator. You could have shot me afterwards and i wouldnt of known. Got my skull busted. I did all the scans and the only one that showed anything was a spect. I domt think that perfusion coming back lol
I’d rather be dead than keep living with this Severe TBI
