I agree that there are a lot of question marks around Vega, but I personally think Sugarfree will have no problems. Even in the match that Toronto lost, he was taking it to Pelican and Happy. Imo, the only way this Toronto team doesn’t play to the level of the Koreans is if Mer1t and Someone don’t show up
@@Mal0717 I would have agreed immediately after Overwatch league ended but honestly, stalker/heesang/alphayi have all looked crazy inconsistent, going from putting on clinics to absolute terrorism. Sugarfree is experienced playing against players of that level and holding his own from his time on Vancouver and has produced results reliably for Toronto, even when other players are having off days
They’re amazing, I went to Grand Finals 2022 in Anaheim for both days. The crowd was amazing everyone was friendly & talked OWL.. Apart from having Glad Fans in front of me Hate on Shock while I rocked their Jersey😂😂
Also I would argue Toronto and M80 are actually better than almost all EMEA teams and are just below like Crazy Raccoon and Falcons. Like I don't think they can beat those teams. But the two top NA teams will probably beat most every EU team. For the most part.
Super hyped for the event but I genuinely am so annoyed that my two favourite teams sog and ssg play each other in the first round. Also I’m just happy that Rakattack has made it so far since vegas and made it to a Lan tournament.
SoG: Can you get a sponsor?😂 Also don't get me wrong I hate the Saudi takeover of esports as much as the next guy but there should still be an exception for a team that straight up has a tank replacement, but aren't allowed to play them and now just are going to a lan to lose.
I'm wondering what the landscape and meta will look like. That could matter a lot. Been awhile since we've seen pro play. We have an idea in general? Thank you so much for putting this out ATP! Btw is Lip okay? You said he was dealing with some personal issues?
What I’m going to look out for is everyone continuing to hype up proper just for him to be worse compared to lip and mer1t. And then for that not to change any narrative around proper. People seem to not wanna admit that maybe proper is not that great. I have yet to see him be a true team player.
Hot take, the whole idea that NA is going to be bad as they have no competition in the region is hugely overblown as you can say the same thing about EU and Asia as they also practice mainly the top 3 teams.
I think that Asia only getting two teams is a shame. I would have loved to see FTG or Yeti competing in Dallas too
Does anyone know why its only 2?

yeah fr, pge making it to lan but not viol2t is actually criminal
Regardless of how SOG does, I’m still getting that Hawaiian shirt
This brings me back to owl days
ngl tho, people underrate scissors. watch some of his pov and scoreboards in games and he's low-key a top tier an dps who could do a LOT
He one of the most clutch players I’ve ever seen
The first background footage was peak OWCS. I miss Doom dive meta :(
Hard agree
My only question for Team Falcons is: will SirMajed get play time?? please??
only in certain maps if he gest lucky
Only on double flex maps and so far, since the experiments with double flex hasn’t gone too well, probably no.

Imo sugarfree has looked a tier below some of these other Korean flex dps

I'll be going to the event, super hyped.
Me and my friends wanted to but unfortunately we couldn’t. Hopefully gonna have a watch party together tho
Lucky you! I really wanted to go but just couldn’t afford it sadly. Take lots of pictures!

I think they can beat them. but I agree that it would be a really though win. Falcon more reachable than CR
We'll see about that EU call ;)

Rak going from 2022-23 Vegas to making lan you gotta love it. My poor son no more
@@Justin-cw7zfrak had one win in his whole owl career. He had a 11.4% Map win rate in owl. The lowest of any person (who at least played 80 naps)
I need to see if the PGE hype is real or not in this scenario.
it’s not!
trust me its real

gonna need to see a jersey tier list , the real ranking
I wonder where would the ex Hangzhou boys slot in here if they were invited.
Between CR and FLC, coin flip against TOR, SSG, maybe ENCE, probably above the rest.

yeah would love to know about Lip aswell
his grandfather died I think, it was a few weeks ago, the 1st korea final where they lost to falcons
I don’t think losing to m80 is a big knock on TD, especially when they have UV Hawk Pelican and Happy
I think SOG is gonna win Infekted is the goat ever and will clutch this team to the most ultimate victory
Kinda sad timeless didn’t get through they were so good and they just got screwed by the 2x points

For me Heesang has been the best flex dps in all of owcs. He is so nasty on genji tracer and echo
I'd be surprised if KR doesn't stomp everyone else into the ground tbh.
The only question I have now is will you make an "update" to this after the event?🤔😅
Here comes the Hammer
