How can you say SOG made it to the third spot because of timeless and luminosity choking when SOG farming all these lower than 3rd place teams in the faceit league?
A lot easier to keep track of OWCS than Faceit tbh. I like to consider myself deep in this scene but half the time I don't know what is going on in Faceit unless if I see a Tweet by one of the members.
yeah i feel like ATP consistently underestimates SOG and really plays them up as like just some friends who made a team. sog is genuinely competitive in NA (if you're not toronto or m80) and i do think they're about that 3rd place spot. timeless and sog are really the ones who are fighting for it but i genuinely think sog are on top of them right now. i think sog was definitely worse stage 1, but stage 2 and faceit with much more experience they are looking better imo.
Idk if you didn't heard about the collegiate situation for the all the team during owcs stage 2
Ofc they made it and aren't a really bad team but the had an easier way to 3rd place cause of collegiate
@@vitusweinich7276 citrus still had lethal against both timeless and luminosity. even if citrus won against sog (which i doubt imo) they'd have to win against toronto defiant in order to make dallas which the biggest stroke of luck would have to occur in order for that to happen
Yeah idk that roster seems kinda nutty, a lot of raw talent, and aren’t they also going to swap scissors for tr33 AND getting coluge ?? I’m not crazy following the scene but like that’s pretty stacked imo, I hope they can find their team synergy

I think SSG have a good shot at taking it all. Their flexibility and knowledge of the game is what seperates them for me. The way they took #1 was through adaptions and countering through unconventional ways. Gonna be great seeing them play against some Korean teams

i love chiyo and fielder but ive been full crazy raccoon since the WAC days (i love lip) but I think it will be them against each other on the grand finals praying for crazy raccoons
Falcons has 3 of my favorite players (Stalk3r, Fielder, Chiyo) so I really want them to win but they have done poorly in 3 separate tournaments now so I am not very hopeful.
(ATL Reign in OWL playoffs, Team Korea in OWWC, Falcons in OWCS Asia.)

Personay I think sudden the loss to M80 was the wakeup call Toronto needed, and now they're gonna bring their all this tournament. Hot take but I think they start very strong, beating crazy racoons in a 3-2 match in the upper bracket, then beat Falcons in a 3-2 as well, but then choke to crazy racoons in the finals, with racoons winning 4-1
Depends on how Merit feels but it could happen. It’s up to merit tho

I genuinely don’t understand how people can watch Falcons be mid all year long, and still call them favorites to win dream hack. They’ve been consistently getting handled by WACrazy raccoon, and struggled so much against ftg consistently.
I guess that’s the proper effect, they just can’t stop riding him.

I was on the WAC/Crazy Raccoon train from the jump, and now it doesnt hurt that my second favorite animal is the raccoon! I seriously think its gonna be a Defiant-Crazy Raccoon final, but we've seen both teams bleed in the past so its entirely possible Falcons or M80 squeeze their way in. Sorry, but SSG and ENCE arent making it. Im so happy SOG made it, its proof that star studded rosters arent an auto lock to make it to Majors. Twisted Minds, with the boomage of KSAA and LBBD7 having to step in, theyre not making it.
I’m super split because my NA team is TD, and I’m a giant lip fan since the Shanghai days, so CR is my Korean bois
@leminem2313 so real, the players being scattered make it hard to root for any one team. Like im a huge Viol2t fan, but also a massive Shu and LIP fan, but then again i love Proper, and over in NA ive been supporting the Timeless (now TSM) bois for years, but also I was a massive Outlaws fan so I always wanna root for Danteh, and then I love SOMEONE and Rupal, its just so hard to root for any one team
@@kahnxo I agree, I had taken sometime away from the overwatch bubble for a couple years, came back, and now my GOATs are grandfathers, but LIP is still there, and I will forever cheer defiant because I loved their colors when I first started.
I can see Toronto being a better team than what u are saying. And Ik they play in a weaker region (competitively )but they have a lot of fire power and I think they will be able to beat spaceStation with ease just because spaceStation has had close matches with ence doesn’t make that good when comparing Toronto with them the only thing I would give is their support line is a little better but that is close and the rest I would give to Toronto(dps and tank) btw this is no hate and I love the content also this doesn’t really matter because I think crazy raccoon is going to go crazy on everybody (I have not watched scrims btw so if space station are them then never mid lol)
Based off scrim results Toronto and SSG are relative to each other but I wouldn’t put too many stocks into them

Maybe I'm underrating the EU guys a little.. but from what I've seen.. IMO the NA teams who have made it look overall better on paper? Like is there a duo in EU that are as good as both Toronto and M80s DPS line.. and even tanks and mostly supports as well when it comes to Toronto at least? Scrims are one thing, but idk, I'm not anti-EU, I just don't see many squads from there matching up well against what the NA or Korean squads bring out
Both won't stand a chance against Raccoons and Falcons most likely anyways, but I'd put NA in the middle tier. Maybe just me
acording to scrims and such ssg have been dominating agansit toronto and that toronto is on the same tier as ence. (this is acording to commander x)
kevster and kai if kai dont play tracer ad kevster remembers who hes supposed to be, sparkr and seicoe on a good day. And I dont think a good dps duo is good enough to put M80 up to the same tier as the EU guys. Too little synergy. Tor is gonna be a coinflip.
I love M80 but they are gonna get rolled by any of the EMEA or Korea teams (besides Twisted Minds)
@@kaeroseon why would Kai ever play tracer? Sorry but he’s hitscan while Kev is “the”tracer player. The only way Kai ends up playing tracer is if they need two flex dps like echo and tracer. Of which maybe Kev will go over the echo while Kai plays tracer.

ssg have the best chance to imo i think people overrate the korean teams ability to play into brawl/rush korea normally play dive into dive and seeing how they play into brawl is the main thing to look out for
Maybe Toronto, and if M80 can figure out teamwork and get hot, they could. I'd arguably say Pelican/Happy are the best DPS duo in the world, or at least up there with Proper/Stalker, Lip/Heesang. And Toronto have looked on fire as well on all positions. They're the only teams I would trust possibly. But it won't be easy, and I'd only say both of those teams have a below 50% of beating WAC/Falcons consistently.

They aren’t overrated they are just much better then everyone else Ssg didn’t even make top 3 in the first stage they lost to bloody ex Oblivion lmao ence nearly 4-1 them in the finals but ended up choking m80 and Toronto are above Ssg. and falcons and raccoons are above everyone else

Does anyone know why NA is just worse? Like the only two teams from NA that are competitive are the two teams with two Koreans.
NA has no good team besides Toronto/M80. Korea is actually unlucky cause the fact that SoG made it and not FTG is crazy.

@@aSuperPi. in fairness, you could make atleast 1 internationally competitive NA team. As for why the NA talent pool seems diminished, i think it is mostly down to lack of motivation from some further on in careers due to lack of investment in the esport, mixed with the controversies. Coluge, mikkeyy, aspire, hydron, ojee, speedily, s9mm, reiner. Those are all players that i think could compose internationally competitive scenes but aren't playing. Breakthrough of young talent is also rarer due to the decline in competition.

why does asia only have 2 seeds lmao they have japan and sk fighting for spots and korea is clearly the strongest do they just not have money to fly these teams to na or sum ftg yeti and runaways are legit better than atleast 2 of the teams here hopefully they add more seeds in the future since spark is coming back and korea has more teams to send or just remove 1 each from na and eu give to it to korea instead

The Korean glazing is crazy especially on Falcons. You can make an argument for CR but Falcons has honestly just not looked good.
You do know Korea is easily the most competitive region? They haven’t looked good against raccoons cause raccoons are easily the best team in the world atm. Even a team like Ftg would probably make top 4
@@kane_howe138 The last time the Korean super team was called the best in the world they were the first eliminated. Also, I could make that same argument of M80/ENCE not looking good because they are also being stomped by the best in their region, which is why it is difficult to gauge regional teams but does not rule out me saying it looks like they have some core issues. I am just tired of hearing Toronto is going to suck because they had it easy even though looking at Raccoons you could also make that same argument as they have had similar success, but it doesn't fit the NA bad narrative.
