something I've noticed with the tower 300 is matx boards are a bit different from each other and its better to find one that the gpu is using slot one, this moves it just enough to the right that its not covering all the motherboard connections on 3 plus slot motherboards. the thinner boards its really not an issue. just something ive noticed. 2nd i wish asus kept the crosshair gene, thats a great looking board for this case.
This card is a beast. Had the opportunity to choose between RX 7900XTX or RTX 4080S. Chose the RTX 4080S and don't regret my decision. Paired with a Ryzen 9 7950X. No bottleneck 😅
Thermaltake Tower 300 Question: Question: Do you think an Artic Liquid Freexer II 420 AIO would fit in this case? Arctic's AIO is a chonky boi at 458 (L) x 138 (W) x 38 (H) mm, so that 38mm thickness + a 25mm fan may not fit in with the PSU shround at the bottom of the case, right?

Given the 5000 series is coming out soon, how would you build your ai and gaming pc today give that you will most likely want to upgrade when the 5000 comes out and I would pass down my card to a family member who currently has a 3080.
this is my take but i think these two have their own advantages. obviously the xtx wins over the bigger memory, making it futureproof for preventing memory bottlenecks in the future, while the 4080 super has that ray tracing and dlss combo that can please your eyes if you are a graphics is everything enthusiasts, and of course nvidia has that nvenc encoder for more reliability if you are a content creator.
7900XTX is really only better in raster only. For current pricing, I think I'd probably now take a 4080 super. Before the 4080 super (essentially just a $200 price cut), I would have gone 7900XTX. The previous pricing on the 4080 made the 7900XTX a no brainer... but now... Yeah... I'd go 4080 Super.
What do you mean by taking full advantage? If you want to get 240 fps or around 240 fps then it all depends on what games you play and the settings. I would recommend at least a 4070 ti super or a 4080 or a 4080 super or a 4090 then on the amd side a 7900xt and the 7900xtx.
I run a i9 14900k and 4070 ti super in a thermal take 200 and a corsair 115i 🤷♂️ no issues - idol build on pcpartspicker (doesn’t have the updated gpu on there yet)
Possibly but it is built purely for performance, even a 13600k is better than 7800X3D just because it has more cores, you really wanna look at more cores if you focus more on editing and streaming
@@micoandreimanzarate1646 more cores doesn't mean better performance. if that was the case then a i9 10900k would be better than a 7800x3d since it has more cores as well

Did you use the 360mm Thermaltake floe AIO? If so would it work with the team group T force delta dd5? That's the only thing I switched from your build

I just ordered parts for a very similar build, and I would recommend maybe switching to a wd black ssd, since I believe they are a slightly faster gen 4 drive, although I'm not 100% sure. Your psu should work fine but you might want to check out the psu teir list and get the most out of your money. Maybe the corsair rm100e.
omg the cpu temps. i feel bad for your CPU, what cooling method you use? what fan or aio, I really wanna know,,,, i watched around 10 separate videos with same specs gaming builds and they all have extremely high temps just like in here for this r7 7800x3d CPU. why is it, is the rtx 4080 super bottlenecking the r7 7800x3d or something ?
Because we have a really wide dataset for F1 22. It’s an indicative test designed to demonstrate performance difference vs other cards rather than show absolute performance in the new title. There’s also hardly any perf difference between the two cards
That’s a HORRIBLE choice of CPU for the 4080!! The ryzen 7 7800x3D paired with the rtx 4080 on a graphics card intense task you’re at a 11.9% bottleneck and a processor intense task you’re at a 43.6% bottleneck!! Absolutely horrible choice of CPU for this build
@@m4ruan-117 if you don’t understand the details of what I already said then there’s absolutely no way I could explain it any further without drawing you a picture.
The thing is that your details are not right at all, and also may I ask which GPU you would choose for the 7800X3D instead ? Because if you tell me the RX 7900 XTX I’ll say that yeah is a nice GPU especially for high FPS at 1440p but totally not good as the 4080 super for Ray tracing DLSS3 in 4K (plus the intel CPU is just a waste if power if you’re not a graphic designer or something like that)

Any chance of doing a build that would take 'full' advantage of a 27-32 inch 4K 240 hz OLED monitor?

So, only 3 fans intake and the others 2 fans on top exhaust?
Let’s talk more about the case!
You're pulling warm air into your PSU mounted that way and pulling warm air in through your rad as well.?.

Dumb question. Are the radiator fans mounted backwards?
Exactly.. He's also mounted his PSU upside down pulling warm air into it through the case.
Why didn't you show the case a bit more
Why would you get this card over a 7900 xtx. Asking as someone planning to build my first pc
amd have driver issues but it's a bit of a gamble
The Vram gain you have on the xtx is overkill. You won't need that extra Vram until the future when those cards are probably outdated
This is great news. If we all bought AMD stock we’d make so much money. #BuyAMD
