      Rush Athletics TV yoo bro question. My son is 7years old and love jumping rope with the weighted rope, is he good doing that? Or is it to much strain on his body? Should we stick to regular rope?

    One move to make it all come together, people tend to just think about their combination of tricks while skipping, but the intro/outro is just as important! Awesome tutorial as allways Rushie :) Keep flying man, the fluency of the your style is truly next level

    I find that if you hold the second rope between your middle finger and flying finger it is less likely to get tangled. Also IF you have a sticky rope and it does get tangled if you make sure to put your hand behind the elbow when doing the side cross you will get it untangled faster. This video helped me a ton

    I love to skip, I’m 63 with dodgy knees but I find skipping actually really helps my knees, I don’t do much of an uplift, I also have to do technique’s tricks etc that ensure that both feet are more or less touching the floor at the same time, for instance no way can I hop on one leg, it’s frustrating and hacks me off but I still love skipping, basic bounce heel /toe taps and mummy runs seem to work best for me. Tutorial’s for old hits would be great😂

    How do you get the rope between your fingers so quick while passing it from one hand to the other? I just hold both handles in my palm like a baseball bat, and it works perfectly fine, without tangling. But I still want to take your advice though. How do you pass it to yourself like that? I mean, while going back to the one sided swing, how do you get your fingers back on the rope instead of the handle that fast? By the way, I use an ultra light and very thin speed rope with a ball bearing mechanism, it is almost impossible to hold the rope like that.

    Excuse me but Mayweather makes just a side swing not the double before opening the rope.

    • @_el.guapo_
      @_el.guapo_ 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I was thinking the same ! That's how I do it. What Rush is doing: he goes from crossing arm under (which is not good to open) to crossing arm over on the same side (which is good to open) but then he switches to the other side and so he misses the opening because he ends up with the crossing arm under. And so he's got to do another one on that side and he is good to open. That looks very slick though. The way I do it is with side swing: I start with crossing arm under, then I switch and my crossing arm ends up over and so I can open from there or I can do I can do 1 or 2 more swings.
