    Good quality info for beginners here 👍
    Important to add that if people are using ropes with a mechanism, such as a Crossrope, your hand placement will generally be in that slightly wider stance facing outwards simply to let the rope rotate efficiently (at least that's what I find).
    Moving to the RA Speedrope is a bit of a challenge really, in terms of changing those engrained habits of mine.

    • @RushAthleticsTV
      @RushAthleticsTV  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Hi. Thanks for the great tutorial. I´ve just started jumpoing rope. I am overweighted, so the objective is to loose weight and gain stamina. I think I have the rope lenght sorted out with you other tutorial, but I am always triping the rope. I have already pulled my arms in, but I cannot jump as smooth. I dont know why, but i always do a jump interval before the rope passes under the feet and I cannot change that. Do you have any suggestions? Keep up the good work

    I feel like keeping your elbows back while skipping puts a lot of strain in the back and shoulders. Is that something that the body gets used to with time?

    • @RushAthleticsTV
      @RushAthleticsTV  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      How heavy are the ropes you’re using? With speed ropes you shouldn’t really feel a lot of strain? For me with this technique in particular with the legacy rope, I get a chance to reallly work my shoulder, forearms and back so it’s a tougher workout. Best to stay with what feeels right however mate.. don’t force it if it feels uncomfy 🙏🏽

    the thing about this rope skipping thing is .. its an addiction I started as just jump for like 30 sec or so .. including it in a workout than things got serious now I try to find a way to get rid of my friend to get my 30 min skipping whenever I can and trying to learn new tricks .. first I just jump now that its too late and I’m hooked I may as well look cool while doing it

    Any tips on why the rope keeps hitting the bottom of my foot (balls of my feet)?

      I assume it's either because the length of the rope is too short(try to increase the length) or maybe you are jumping falt footed( try to jump on your toes and keep heel off the ground)

    You did it effortless!
    Its unfair🤣.
    I'm doing jump rope now for 1 week and i dont think I'm going to stop anytime soon..
    It's very addictive wor out..
    I question bro.
    I'm using cheap jumping rope now.
    My question is, does the rope make it different to perform better?
    Thanks in advance.

    Whenever I do crossovers my rope doesn’t clip the ground anymore. Should the rope still clip the ground?

      If you’re doing the crosses smoothly then it doesn’t really need to clip the floor mate 💪🏽

    Just begin skipping recently & realise some of my mistakes here. Never too late to improve I guess. Thanks Rush!
