"Everything is permissible for me"-but I will not be mastered by anything. 13"Food for the stomach and the stomach for food"-but God will destroy them both. The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. 14By his power God raised the Lord from the dead, and he will raise us also. 15Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself? Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never! 16Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, "The two will become one flesh." 17But he who unites himself with the Lord is one with him in spirit. 18Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body. 19Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? Simul justice et peccator. Righteous and a sinner at the same time. Thank you, Pastor for reminding us that our failures are part of the mystery of salvation - it’s humbling, but should drive us to our knees in adoration to Jesus.
Paul taught that if people blatantly persist in the practice of sin and abandon all conscience toward sin (and feel no guilt for wrongdoing nor willing to repent of it), such people will suffer great losses. This is why the apostle Paul was severe in his strictures toward such outrageous sinners who persist in their sins and break off any attempt to repent of them. He said: "Deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus" (1 Corinthians 5:5). And also: "If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved yet so as by fire" (1 Corinthians 3:15).
That is a lie from the pits of hell. It is neither circumcision nor uncircumcision that means anything, what matters is a new creature, faith working through love, and keeping God's commandments. I suggest that people watch this video of Ravi explaining the Gospel. Note how he talks abut C.S. Lewis, God entering a relationship with mankind, and other fluffy stuff. But he never quotes any Bible verse on sin, the penalty of sin, or that the death, burial and resurrection being the sufficient payment of sin, or that a person needs to believe on Christ alone to receive the free gift of salvation. th-cam.com/video/enXBnnFbDpM/w-d-xo.html The Bible says by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. This simply means that through a person's words, you can more or less judge what they believe, because out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. If you ask any true believer what the Gospel is, it's automatic that they say words like "believe on Christ" or "death, burial and resurrection", or "by grace alone, through faith alone in Christ alone". These are like the national anthem words of a believer. But when Ravi was asked what the Gospel is, he sounded like he was teaching philosophy. What do his words hint at about what he believes in his heart? I have doubts with Ravi's salvation, not because of his scandal, but that he never preached the Gospel clearly in his public speaking events. A corrupt tree can't bring forth good fruit - that is an unbeliever can't get a person saved because an unbeliever doesn't know the Gospel himself.
Why i dont like these preachers because they act like God judging others.. The Lord said rebuke them dont hate them hate the sin and pray that the Holy Spirit intercede for them. The concern is that church leaders are true believers themselves or not; and they either influence the congregation to greater faith in the Lord or put a stumbling block that the congregation become lukewarm, worse, cold, or worst, non-believing Christians. I know people that "believed" John 3:16 who have been atheists for over 20 years and chide the church, trample Christ and ridicule believers. I have a hard time believing they ever were truly saved. This is my disconnect with GES theology. Just being honest. There is a whole counsel of God, not just the book of John.
Excellent video! Being involved in a local church today is not an easy task. My wife and I have searched many and have been left somewhat cold or frustrated. We have for the last 20 year have studied the bible daily. I.m 83 and my wife 72. We have a marriage in Christ that is wonderful. We know whom we believe in and are persuaded!! . I am a reformer and former Baptist Deacon prior to moving from Arizona to Tennessee. God bless your work!
My sentiments entirely. I read the bible daily also and am alone. I am 76 and have tried the churches in my area and leave frustrated for many reasons. I hunger for fellowship and am always feeling guilty for not going to church, but churches have changed a lot from years ago when I was involved for many reasons. I would be so happy to find a fellowship where saints would long to meet together and not stampede out the doors when the service is over, where the Word was preached in balance and with respect and not with the lukewarmness that is apparent everywhere.
The Bible says our righteousness is as filthy rags to God. So MacArthur is NOT better than Ravi. That was a false statement, on so many levels. He should know better than to say something like that. He lost any influence with me, when he said that. Our salvation is not of works, lest any man should boast. MacArthur boasted.
Some people don’t know the questions, let alone the answers… The question should be:,,will I get to heaven my self “? If I care about others if they get or went to heaven most probably I neglect my spiritual life so my getting to heaven is problematic
Ravi is my example for why I will not choose to get my teaching from "Celebrity" Christians". I thought he was different, until after his death and realized he was in it for him self. Looking back I never heard a clear gospel message from him. He was just a storyteller that used big words to get across simple points. As for his salvation all outward signs point to know, but there may have been a last minute realization as he battled cancer in his final weeks.
@@konroh2 His life and actions right up until his death said he didn't believe his own message. This wasn't just "he sinned once and turned his life around to follow Jesus so we aren't allowed to make any judgements." This occurred over a period of YEARS and if he had taken the Bible seriously, he would have STOPPED. And DON'T tell me this was just some gambling addiction and he couldn't help himself. Tell that to the women, girls and families whose lives he destroyed.
@@firstknight117I believe certain things are wrong. And sometimes I still do those things even though I know they are wrong. Doing those things doesn’t mean I don’t truly believe. I don’t look at peoples lifestyle as to whether they are saved or not since salvation has nothing to do with works. I look to see what they believe about salvation to determine whether they believe or not. Your statement about him not believing because of his lifestyle makes me question your belief and shows me that you don’t seem to think salvation really is by belief alone apart from works
I tried to listen to RZ over the years and always walked away thinking he doesn’t talk about his relationship to Jesus. The “belief” talked about by Jesus in John 3 is really about “relational faith”. Not simply agreeing with a Historical set of facts about the life of Jesus
Is "Saving Faith" More Than "Mental Assent"? - Bob Wilkin th-cam.com/video/SbcC_4m2moE/w-d-xo.html What is "Saving Faith"? Is Saving Faith simply a persuasion, mental assent or conviction of the truth of the saving message, whoever believes in Jesus has everlasting life? Does Saving Faith require more than mental assent? Have heard the heretic Macarthur before but not the heretic Chou. Boy does he not know Scripture. Fortunately for Ravi, he was saved by grace through faith..Eph 2:8-9..But its likely safe to say he has lost most if not all rewards. BTW Bob, Hebrews 10:25 is the only Scripture I see that commands going to church. To me it is better not to go at all than to listen to the unscriptural swill coming from 99% of the American pulpits today.
According to Bob all you have to do is believe in John 3:16 to receive everlasting life so pretty safe bet MacArthur believes in John 3:16 so he's good to go.
John MacArthur: Know You are Saved by Love, Humility, Obedience and Trials - Bob Wilkin & Mike Lii th-cam.com/video/nDACX0pb9qE/w-d-xo.html Bob Wilkin and Mike Lii of the Grace Evangelical Society examines two videos from John MacArthur, one video from 1979 and another video from 2022. Both videos answer the questions of "What must I do to be saved?" and "How can I know for sure I am saved?" The answers by John MacArthur in 1979 are very different from the answers in 2022. Bob and Mike conclude that the Bible doesn't teach to look into ourselves for assurance but to look to Jesus and His certain promise of everlasting life to everyone who believes in Him for everlasting life.

Don't be too quick to pass judgment. The apostle Paul taught that if people blatantly persist in the practice of sin and abandon all conscience toward sin (and feel no guilt for wrongdoing nor willing to repent of it), such people will suffer great losses. Paul was severe and said: "Deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus" (1 Corinthians 5:5). And also: "If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved yet so as by fire" (1 Corinthians 3:15).

@@GESvids this is an evangelical heresy, not found in the Church fathers. It is a new doctrine, not an apostolic doctrine. You can’t just look at the text by itself, because anyone can make it say whatever they want.
Okay, this is so weird. Yesterday I stumbled upon this video. I just realized this channel is same website I stayed up all night reading and loving the doctrine. So much I am in process of applying for seminary classes for more formal training, though I honestly don't know what I will learn because I have been studying scripture about 2 hours a day since 2016, when Lord opened my eyes to truth if gospel, eschatology, etc. Came out of reformed background to 100% pretrib premill, dispensationalist. Its what scripture teaches. Anyway, weird I stumbled upon the channel and completely unrelated went to your website today. That can't be a coincidence.
What?! Chou’s answers a question not asked. Church attendance isn’t required for salvation. Only belief. Indeed, We are instructed to worship corporately.
So if John 3:16 is it. I want to know. My grandpa was saved but died by suicide. Is he in heaven? Was that sin taken on the cross? My uncle had a very bad habit and died from a drug overdose of fentanyl. But he did accept Christ. He went to church. He was baptized. He read his Bible. My grandpa also went to church, read his Bible. They both accepted Christian before they died. Were those awful sins forgiven by John 3:16? Is believing enough? I know they believed it. By watching this video, it gave me a bit of hope for them. They were both good guys with bad habits. Someone help me out here. These issues bother me a lot at times.

Those who endure until the end shall be saved Matt 24:13. We do good works because we are saved not to get saved or to keep it but if we are we will do good works
He Who Endures Will Be Saved (Matthew 24:13) November 17, 2020 by Bob Wilkin faithalone.org/blog/he-who-endures-will-be-saved-matthew-2413/ John asks this quality question: "“Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved” (Matt 24:12-13). You may have commented on these verses before, but I couldn’t find it. It seems to support the idea of the perseverance of the saints." I’ve recently been in a discussion with a fellow DTS grad who takes a different view of the Olivet Discourse regarding the Rapture. I recently wrote a magazine article defending the idea that in Matt 24:36-44, the Lord discusses the Rapture. My friend, also a Classic Dispensationalist, disagrees. As I told him, the first 44 verses of Matthew 24 are difficult to interpret, and my position is certainly a minority position among Dispensationalists. The issue raised by John’s question may seem unrelated to the Rapture, but it is not, at least not in my opinion. The point in verses 12-13 is that some or even many believers will not persevere until the end of the Tribulation and hence will not survive those seven years. That is, they will not be alive at the end of the Tribulation but will instead have already died. The word saved in Matt 24:13 clearly does not refer to being born again. I have six proofs. First, this salvation is future (“he will be saved”). Salvation from eternal condemnation is a past event for the believer (Eph 2:8-9). Second, the condition for this future salvation is perseverance in good works, not faith in Christ. But salvation from eternal condemnation is by faith alone, apart from works (John 3:16; 6:28-29; Eph 2:8-9; Rev 22:17). Third, the only other use of the word saved in Matthew 24 refers to physically surviving the Tribulation: “unless those days were cut short, no flesh would be saved” (Matt 24:22). Fourth, the word save refers to deliverance from problems in this life over 70% of the time in the NT. Hence this is not a surprising use. Fifth, everlasting life cannot be lost (John 3:16; 5:24; 10:28-29; 11:26). Yet the people being mentioned are not only believers, but they are believers who loved God for a time, and then their love will grow cold. Compare Rev 2:4, “you have left your first love.” Sixth, perseverance in good works in the Bible is a condition of eternal rewards, which are not the same thing as having everlasting life (Matt 24:45-51; 25:1-13, 14-30, 31-46; Luke 19:16-26; 2 Tim 2:11-13; 1 John 2:28; Rev 2:26; 3:21). Here is how Matt 24:13 is related to the Rapture. All church age believers will be gone before the time discussed in Matt 24:4-35, which is the Tribulation. We know that in the church age, not all believers endure to the end of their lives in faithfulness (e.g., 2 Tim 2:12; 1 John 2:28). However, the Tribulation is a unique time in which 100% of the believers alive at the end will be faithful. Every unfaithful believer will have died. That is why at the Judgment of the Sheep and the Goats, 100% of the sheep (Gentile believers) can be identified by the way they faithfully treated Jewish believers (“the least of these My brethren”). If Matt 24:13 dealt with church age believers, it would not be a true statement. The idea held by many Calvinists and Arminians that Matt 24:13 is saying that only those who persevere in faith and good works will gain final salvation is not supported by Scripture. Though well-intentioned, that view actually promotes works salvation. Our eternal destiny became final the moment we believed in Jesus for it (John 11:26). For the believer, our salvation from eternal condemnation is already final. Thanks for the good question, John.
@GESvids I didn't ask a question I simply stated scripture proving that believing is not just thinking Christ died for you. Faith without works is dead being alone, show me thy faith without thy works and I'll show you my faith by my works. We don't good works to keep our salvation but if we are we will work out our salvation with fear and trembling. We are saved by grace through faith lest any man should boast but if we don't continue in His goodness we will be cut off romans 11:22. If you don't obey it shows you're not saved. Anyone who says they know Me and doesn't keep My commandments is a liar and the truth is not in them 1 john 2:4. A gift isn't a gift if you don't receive it and you don't obey God it's obvious that didn't receive the gift. We haveto open the book and figure out what God has for us if not then we without chastising and are bastards. I love all Baptist but you you say yiu don't anything to receive a gift butif you don't continue and obey you haven't received the gift. Yes yiu can lose your salvation. 2 peter 2:20-22 for it would've been better not to have known the truth and obeyed to turn away from the Holy commandment given unto you for it's like the true proverb the dog has turned to his vomit again. There 80 scripture saying that one must take apart in obeying or be cut off from God. You seem to glean over them like they're not there but they are there regardless what calvinism has taught you.

The root brings forth fruit…in some slow to ripen in others quick to blossom quick to fruit. But regardless, the branches must be attached to the vine. Stay rooted.
The apostle Paul says this very clearly in 1 Corinthians 4:3-5: "I care very little if I am judged by you or by any human court; indeed, I DO NOT even judge myself. My conscience IS CLEAR, but THAT DOES NOT make me innocent. IT IS THE LORD WHO JUDGES ME. THEREFORE JUDGE NOTHING BEFORE the appointed time; WAIT UNTIL the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is HIDDEN in darkness and will expose the motives of the heart. At that time each will receive their praise from God." Is Ravi Zacharias in Heaven? We don't know. That is God's role to judge, not ours. We can only act according to what we clearly know- that what Ravi did was sinful, extremely detestable and not honouring to God , and that all of us should take serious heed, trembling and walk in holy repentance everyday. To be Holy is our responsibility. But when it comes to salvation, we are not the judge.
My two cent opinion (if someone cares😊). Ravi has done a great job of spreading and explaining the Gospel and that's a great accomplishment as a christian. He may have led so many souls to accept the the Lord. What he did is so worldly and he succumbed to the call of the flesh,--which I consider a backsliding. He never renounced his faith or showed any doubt on the Lord, so he just have answer to the Lord for what he did. Is he saved?--IMO--no doubt.
Thanks for the post. While the conclusion (Once saved always saved) seems a lot better than what was presented by John MacArthur & others on the different clip it is definitely food for thought for all of us. The clips seemed to emphasize on church going, which although should not be neglected, does not apply to all churches today unfortunately. There are many who love their ‘churches’ & attend regularly who are still not saved . Many churches have become like Jericho where they don’t go outside & evangelize the world & people outside are not able to enter in !Paul the apostle did not get stuck in a church but ministered in several churches & had fellowship with all of them. I guess RZ must have rated himself to the same standard of the apostles. He was a fantastic apologist & while he argued in support of God he also argued his way into sin by his profound reasoning. Christianity is more spiritual than limiting itself to human reasoning. When too much emphasis is given to the brain rather than the heart, we loose our bearings! The question is are we truly in love with God or in love with our theology, our churches, ministries etc.People who are rigid in their thinking sometimes get God out of the equation! What about MacArthur’s views on the book of Acts , baptism of the Holy Spirit ,miracles, signs & wonders ? Why aren’t folks talking about it anymore? Why aren’t people preaching the full gospel? What about the doctrine of eternal security? Is it worth taking the risk & continuing to live in sin? Lots to be considered in this debate! I hope RZ did not fall from grace despite his secret sins & I hope he had a moment like the thief on the cross who had a last chance at the nick of time. We would never know until we get to eternity.
Salvation is not a process! So many people think that it's a joint effort here, that when you trust Christ, then you continue on with God and ultimately you become saved. Well that would mean you would become the saviour, because ultimately your salvation would be dependent on what you did or did not do.
Why the Audiance making a big laugh when the book suddenly dropped? If they are serious on what Mac Arthur talks about, there is noting much here to make a big hahahahaha.... Better they look at their inner being rather looking for where Ravi Zacariah is now.
Didn’t someone once say (Matthew 7), “you shall know them by their fruit,“ meaning both good and bad in that they give evidence of their spiritual state through their speech and lives, referring to the Pharisees but really applies to everyone? You gotta realize that pastors, rabbis, priests, and evangelists sometimes seek those positions of power and apparent authority in order to take advantage of opportunities with women or sometimes men and tragically, when it comes to priests, (which there’s no justification for in scripture), children. Same with secular positions of authority, like coaches, teachers/professors, youth leaders, etc., that can be abused because of perceived special knowledge or talent.
What is it you're affirming - specifically , precisely , without exception - one must Necessarily believe and Perform until death in order to be born again with irreversible Everlasting Life v? Thanks .
"Lord Jesus, I am sorry. Will you forgive me?" "No." It seems like speculation to ask if the man ever made a sincere prayer like that before he died and speculation as to what the answer of Jesus would be to that question. Jesus was easily and by far the greatest Teacher of Forgiveness that the world has ever known right?
Why are you all so worried about him whether he is saved or not ? If he has already accepted LORD JESUS CHRIST as his personal Lord and Saviour then he is saved for all eternity no matter what. I think you should consider or think about yourself rather than debating about his salvation.
Good explanation brother. It is not always a sinless life, but matters the rigeteous acts whilst accomplishing the unique & personal call of God. It is not only Ravi Zaccaria did mistakes /sins. Evn Jobe, Abraham, Jacob, Moses, Elijah, Samson, Saul, David, Solomon, Peter and even mother & father of Jesus Christ did mistakes or committed sins whilst accomplishing the tasks of God. Why make a big haho on Ravi Zachariah then?? Jesus Christ is the Savior for both Old & New Testiment belivers. Sime as that. Lord said " Let the first stone be thrown by the sinless man."
This is a very interesting conversation, Ravi Zacharias may not have dealt with the text (perhaps his target audience had some familiarity with it), but tried to get people to think, how to apply its principles; also bringing up Armenianism and their view of losing salvation, implying it can be done as easily as misplacing a quarter. The Armenian view, if I'm not mistaken, one has to willfully and sincerely deny Jesus in their heart (which would exclude being tortured to deny it, indeed a person convinced against their will is of the same opinion still). Because of free will, if I'm understanding the Armenian view correctly, if a person really wants to willfully and sincerely flush their salvation and serve other interests, then they can do so. While a saved person should be doing what they can in the sanctification process to avoid sinning (repenting , not to do it again), a person who has moral failings does not lose salvation, they lose reward (1 Corinthians 3:15 If any man's work is burned up, he will suffer loss, but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.. ...)
Amen my Brother Amen. Its so refreshing to hear you cut through all this "churchianity and self righteousness" from the body of Christ! These same "pastors" (oh how they love that title) should simply believe he words of Jesus Himself and not reduce their argument to the level of their "human(flesh) understanding) Thank God for Jesus(Grace Himself) Ephesians 2:8-9 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition 8 For it is by free grace (God’s unmerited favor) that you are saved ([a]delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God; 9 Not because of works [not the fulfillment of the Law’s demands], lest any man should boast. [It is not the result of what anyone can possibly do, so no one can pride himself in it or take glory to himself.] -Grace is NOT a doctrine - but God Himself - If you have seen me?? then you have seen The father!
This is why Catholics teach purgatory. Many believers, because of sin, are not ready for the next reality. It is not like "poof" all is good after death. We take our current mindset, with all its secrets and addictions, with us.
WOW... Abner states, "..there is no exception.." What about Paul and the many believers over the centuries who were jailed?? I guess they're going to hell because they didn't frequently fellowship in a comfy box.
We can debate this all day this side of Eternity. However I still dont believe people should use Ravi's material anymore. As for the Mormon issue a lot of people forget that Dr. Al Mohler also spoke at the same place Ravi spoke.
This video as well meaning as it is and I always appreciate debate and good hearted people is a good example of a scholarly argument and describes the fight we are in to “test our faith” as Paul challenged the Corinthians to do. There are two takeaways here I think that see important. First, there is an assumption that Christians cannot be involved in a sin that disqualifies us from salvation and even though this principle was alluded to in the Bible to say that his sin kept him from heaven would mean that the cross doesn’t cover all sin and also that Christians cannot commit certain sins which all of us hopefully would refute. Secondly this teacher sort of links Arminianism with maintained faith and though some do in that camp not all do so I certainly wouldn’t rage that arm of the faith with a works oriented salvation at all. So I would encourage everyone watching this video to conclude that really we don’t know where he is now and Paul to the Corinthians alluded to this insecurity when he did challenge us to test our faith for this very reason. If I have a sin in my life that I am actively hiding, engaging in, and consciously pursuing then it is reasonable to be insecure as to NOT if I know God because we know the demons do but does God know me. Many will be in heaven after entering eternity with these kinds of sin and theirs is the condition of losing reward as an eternal state and many will not ge there due to their conduct which demonstrates their not being known by God as His.
He was a believer. He was not a disciple. No critical judgement meant by any means. Jesus said to follow him we must be his disciple by DENYING ourselves taking up our cross and following him.
Had a lot of respect for John until his comments here. You and I can not by someones actions determine whether they had or had not placed their exclusive trust in Christ. Yes, it is horrific to find out about claims that were made after his departure. However, I thank God that the faith and faithfulness of Jesus Christ was my sufficiency. Down at the Inner City Missions, we have people who are called down and outers caught up in their carnality, who have trust in Christ Jesus death burial and resurrection. Some are so caught up still in their flesh that they pass on to their inevitable loss of this life. Are you going to claim that these souls are lost to condemnation? Whoever put this clip on beware of your own salvation and where your righteousness came from.
It's really interesting to find out Justin Peters and John MacArthur gave up on the lies of Calvinistic belief and now both or Arninian ! Miracles truly do happen as the Bible teaches ! And the two of them say that has passed ., ..................Without any scripture to back up their theory 👀 🤔 🤧 😮

Nor do they believe that either. Their question is, can a person that has been born again of the Spirit engage in willful, serious, long term sin?
I agree however, that regular church attendance is not at all what I would call a "red flag". There are many reasons why true believers would be uncomfortable in a modern church setting. I am one of those people. I attend infrequently. I simply don't enjoy the Sunday morning format.

So many people seemed to have missed the core of the problem. IF a decision for Christ is genuine, there WILL be a change at a heart level: “and such WERE some if you.” They are not philanderers any longer. The Holy Spirit indwells a person who is a Believer, convicting the person of sin. If there is no conviction (“whom the Lord loveth, He chasteneth”), one should take stock of the genuineness of their salvation.

Why Not?? I know you are so above it. However, we can learn so much from this debate. It certainly helped me reflect on my life and realized God will not be mocked. There is nothing wrong with testing the word of God on the world or anyone's of life. JESUS constantly used the analogy of a tree bearing fruit, refering to our lives or the talents we are given to bear fruit .we all sin, we all fall short of the glory of God. I suggest that people watch this video of Ravi explaining the Gospel. Note how he talks abut C.S. Lewis, God entering a relationship with mankind, and other fluffy stuff. The Bible says by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
Exactly! Amen
Why i dont like these preachers because they act like God judging others.. The Lord said rebuke them dont hate them hate the sin and pray that the Holy Spirit intercede for them. @@pfmiranda21They aren’t condemning, they are exposing! Just like Paul did! Please read Ephesians 5:6-11. Yes, Jesus died for our sins but we must still confess, ask for forgiveness, and Repent daily. No matter what, we still sin daily! If we say that we don’t sin, we call Christ a liar. (1 John 1:8-10 - “8If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10If we say we have not sinned, we make Him out to be a liar, and His word is not in us.”
Disagree, posts like this fundamentally do not understand apologetics. Go ask 99% of Christians WHY they believe, and Why do they think the Bible is true? You will get mouths hanging open most of the time. Intelligent, thinking people are not impressed by someone who can't explain his own beliefs. These are the questions that are stumbling blocks to the modern unbeliever. Paul and the Apostles were not preaching to an Atheistic world, where science has all the answers. Ravi challenged other religions, and presented a rational approach for faith. There are plenty of videos of Ravi arguing for why Jesus is the only way.

Gotta be to enter by means of a Textbook Oxymoron: "repentant faith" ...a non existent category .
Only faith in Him for what He actually Certifies regenerates forever:
John 3:16 & Ephesians 2:8-9 .
On your 5 NECESSARY CO-CONDITIONS of working for the Free Gift of Endless Everlasting Life , you simply NEVER POSSESS His endless Gift without earning/ meriting it till you die .
So , you're Objectively Never "saved" ...in this Life !
So , you Never have His PERFECT Righteousness given to you - Personally - apart from your Lifetime "Lifestyle" Performance Contract...
...the Must Necessarily be a 100% score to enter His Kingdom, because the ONLY Scriptural means of entering His Kingdom is by way of His imputed Gift (Romans 4:1-8) having finished all the work of Redemption on our behalf as the "Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world" .
... therefore it (eternal Justification before God) is by faith that it might be according to Grace that the Promise would be Certain" (Romans 4:16) .
Whereas , all seeking to enter by one's Perseverance in Performance (works) never have access to His PERFECT Righteousness (the Free and Never Deserving Gift) in this life , nor into the endless ages of eternity .
I used to support Ravi before finding out the horrid truth. I was so angry after finding out, I threw away his books. However, it's between God and Ravi of whether he asked forgiveness before he died. If Ravi repented to Jesus and meant this in his heart admitting that what he did to those women was wrong, and asked Jesus to please forgive him, I think he would be in heaven. None of us deserve what Jesus Christ did for us. None of us deserve God's grace. So, even though I do not know his destiny, I do hope he repented. I have asked Jesus to help me forgive Ravi for what he did to those women. I think that as the Church, we should help the women, but also seek to forgive Ravi for what he did. Jesus told us to forgive others as Jesus forgives us. I hope Ravi is in heaven.

He Who Endures Will Be Saved (Matthew 24:13)
November 17, 2020 by Bob Wilkin
faithalone.org/blog/he-who-endures-will-be-saved-matthew-2413/
John asks this quality question:
"“Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved” (Matt 24:12-13).
You may have commented on these verses before, but I couldn’t find it. It seems to support the idea of the perseverance of the saints."
I’ve recently been in a discussion with a fellow DTS grad who takes a different view of the Olivet Discourse regarding the Rapture.
Compare Rev 2:4, “you have left your first love.”
Sixth, perseverance in good works in the Bible is a condition of eternal rewards, which are not the same thing as having everlasting life (Matt 24:45-51; 25:1-13, 14-30, 31-46; Luke 19:16-26; 2 Tim 2:11-13; 1 John 2:28; Rev 2:26; 3:21).

You are spot on!!
Thanks .
I'm so glad you are wise!
"Lord Jesus, I am sorry. Will you forgive me?"
"No."
It seems like speculation to ask if the man ever made a sincere prayer like that before he died and speculation as to what the answer of Jesus would be to that question.
While a saved person should be doing what they can in the sanctification process to avoid sinning (repenting , not to do it again), a person who has moral failings does not lose salvation, they lose reward (1 Corinthians 3:15 If any man's work is burned up, he will suffer loss, but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.. ...)
Amen my Brother Amen. Its so refreshing to hear you cut through all this "churchianity and self righteousness" from the body of Christ! 8 For it is by free grace (God’s unmerited favor) that you are saved ([a]delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God;
9 Not because of works [not the fulfillment of the Law’s demands], lest any man should boast.
You should've included Andrew Wommack also in this panel
