- Attack on Titan is one of the most famous animes around, but it is yet again - another one I have not seen before! Can I figure out the plot to attack on titan from just the openings? (and playing fortnite lol) also HUGE apologies, one of the openings was just being blocked repeatedly so I have had to cut it out of this video! Since you loved Arcane, I think you'd absolutely love Attack on Titan. Something both Arcane and AoT do amazingly well is character building, character layers, all that good stuff. Plus, AoT has one of the best plots in all TV history. Many people actually put the show up there with Game of Thrones or Breaking Bad.

@@konoctiball_gaming personally demon slayer is nothing compared to aot. demon slayer is your average shounen anime. the animation is godly though. but aot has amazing twists and plots its not really like your average shounen anime after season 3 or during season 3

In terms of colour palette, that one was my favourite only second to OP 5
It's so apocalyptic and gritty (and much more darkly realistic than most of the other ones), and it's also super unique for an anime opening. By far one of my favorites - bit of an acquired taste (as with the Rumbling), but once it's sunk its fangs in you it's not letting go.
It's insane, i think that song absolutely slaps 😭

Attack on titan is an absolute masterpiece of a story basically a modern classic, highly recommend watching it even if you do it on your own withour making it into videos. We should be getting the last episode about 1 month so attack on titan is finishing its story then.

That "opening 8", Under the Tree, is the main song for the Season 4 Part 3 Part 1 episode, which is a 1hr+ long episode continuation of the story in season 4. The 2nd part of that (which will presumably be another 1hr+ long episode) will be the finale of the show. The song doesnt have visuals to go along with it like the others in an "opening" format because it is for a movie-length episode, and it plays in the end-credits, but it is basically that episode's "opening song" for being its main song

The shows OSTs are also amazing. I highly recommend reacting to the composer Hiroyuki Sawano’s Project Emu concert where he plays some of the best shows OSTs live.

14:10 I believe it was establishing a similarity between the predator-prey relationship in the wild and humans and titans, also highlighting the hearts for the message of all living beings wanting to survive (plus the chorus lyrics are "dedicate/give your hearts" a phrase used in the show for motivation and loyalty).
I won’t spoil anything but “the basement” whatever it is, is one of the greatest things I’ve ever seen in all of fiction
I like how The Rumbling (last op) is always a life changing experience when you first hear it. 😂
Also if you do later a react to the endings you will be able to include "Under the tree" since it's kinda the ending of the last episode. :)

I think people shouldn't react to under the tree or at least not to the official amv because it's just so full of spoilers. They should just react to the song or to the images shown in the actual movie when the song plays

I'm so glad you didn't watch the "all AoT openings 60fps" video that butchers the animation, but EVERY channel seems to watch it when reacting to these OPs.
Edit: OP 2 was in 60fps but at least all the others had their normal frame rate.

It is filled with spoilers, she should absolutely wait. The openings are one thing, but man it is better to wait. It hits so much harder.
Now you need to watch the show. The openings do show a little more than they should, yes... but the show's still as enjoyable as otherwise. definitely recommended. It's easy to get spoiled of specific plot points though from the internet so that is something to watch out for. Something cool about the show is that it feels like later plot points were planned long beforehand. I have heard that a large amount of the series was planned before the writer of the manga started putting pencil to paper. He did work with the production of the anime as well and I think he considers it the definitive version of his story.
Yo g. The "opening 8" you're talking about is actually the main theme for the last season's 1st special that continues the story so in my opinion it still counts as an opening 😂

Try to avoid spoilers as much as you can. Attack on titan watch experience is more affected by spoilers than most other stories because almost the entire story you're asking questions and waiting in anticipation for the amazing reveals. The reveals and plot twists are the best parts and being spoiled would be very sad.
Highly recommend checking out the endings. They are phenomenal.

the thing with anime only getting 1 seasons usually reason is that the anime is made to promote the original source material more
but if gains enough popularity itll get more seasons provided source material has content to cover it
AoT's manga only ended quite recent while the show was ongoing

Well I can't confirm or deny any of your theories, what i can tell you is the sinopsis of the first episode:
'The world is plagued by misterious feral giants that eat people called titans, the last of humanity resides inside concentric 3 rings of 60 meter walls, a group of the military called the Recon Core go outside on a regular basis to explore and find the possibility of taking more land for humanity, however they are on a losing battle against the titans, taking massive amounts of casualties everytime they go against the unending titan threat,
a 10 year old boy named Eren Yeager dreams with going outside of the walls and explore the outside world, he plans to join the Recon Core and make a difference."
Obviously more information is revealed along the seasons uncovering the mistery of the titans and the outside world but most often than not it answers a question but opens 4 more, right up until the end of the series
There's so much to talk about with Rumbling. Just the lyrics alone feel like a massive reflection on just everything that's come before. Mainly because they are, and it's rare shows get to do something like that because, as you said, it's rare for shows to get that far into the adaptation process that they can actually have the full story realized in animation.
AOT was almost another series like that. I think it was like... 5 or 6 years. The gap of time between season 1 being animated and season 2 being animated, that is.
There are also full versions of most of the openings (if not all) and they slam even harder.
The newest one just dropped 2 days ago. (for the newest opening as well)
You'd definitely enjoy Attack on Titan because it is a show with deep world-building. Also, i love how she picked up on how spoilery the OP's can be if you pay close attention or once you've watched the show

1 season is 24 episode, so it has 2 opening and ending.
1st OP for episode 1-12 and 2nd OP for episode 13-24.
The rest is the same.
But some anime only have 12 episode for 1 season.
So, 12 episode is the length for 1 opening and 1 ending song.

The song for it is actually from Ending 8 (yea there are more endings than openings) but the video you saw is indeed a MV edited using clips from the show.

Just a clarification, everyone even with context is confused about the dinosaur in the opening, there's no dinosaurs in the series, it's just a really odd decision by the show creators, if you do some mental gymnastics it's possible to make sense of it but it's really obscure even for people who read the manga

Season 1. OP 1 and 2 were for season 1 since it's the only season that had 25 episodes. Every other season had 12-16(technically), so not really enough to justify multiple openings for the season.

The s1 to s3 of the AOT is just a prologue.
The main story is the final season.
The opening songs OP6, 7, and 8 have very important messages embedded in them.
OP7 (the rumbling) is from Eren's point of view
OP8 is from Mikasa's point of view, and the two songs are a set.
You have to listen to the last song, OP8 (under the tree). Lots of spoilers included, but if you don't feel the need to watch the anime in the future, go with the SIM official full version.
