@@fabinagl7601 both strike the same cords in terms of curiosity, but AoT has a more modern animation and pacing and has a higher scale mystery... Death Note is still good, but for modern audience, AoT is a better introduction.

      @MIZZKIE ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@adrien1623 (SPOILERS)
I'm talking about the actual ENDING, not the entire last Arc.
Even though Season 8 of GOT was shitty, at least when everything was over Westeros had a bright future ahead. Paradis on the other hand was fucked. Eren massacring 80% of humanity didn't stop the rest of the world from exterminating all the Eldians.
If you put the AOT ending in GOT terms, it is the equivalent of Dany destroying King's Landing, but Cersei still lives and when her child grows up he/she completely destroys all the Starks and all the good guys/houses we've been rooting for for 7 fucking years.
Sansa was totally on board with Dany killing the innocent civilians of King's Landing, and in the aftermath of the war wants to start a war with people/anybody who do not agree with her.
Also Jon Snow was the one pulling the strings behind Ned Stark's death.
If you put the GOT ending in AOT terms, it ends where the remaining Survey Corps kills Eren, and Armin makes peace with the Marleyans.
All the surviving characters (Note: Jean, Connie, and Gabi are not resurrected) become important people to the world.
      See what I mean now?
GOT ends on a positive note.
AOT ends with all that we've been rooting for absolutely obliterated to extinction and meaningless. Which makes Eren's decision to activate the Rumbling so much worse because it "proves" that Eldians are indeed spawn of the devil.

Anime, based on genre and who made it, have some of the deepest and most well written stories and dialogues I've ever seen. Cartoons with blood, death and emotions. That's what Anime are. Pokèmon is more a cartoon than a Anime but even that can make some people feel emotional. In general, japanese are really good when it comes to handling emotions which is really ironic.

I've subbed on the CHANCE that you MAY watch this in the future. That's how good this series is. This story is life altering, the kind of story that makes you change your moral compass and learn things about yourself you didn't know. It makes you defend "evil", and criticize "good." You will find yourself applying these newly discovered things about yourself to those around you in reality, and become a truly better understanding person. You shouldn't miss out on something like that!

This is a masterpiece of an anime, the music, animation, storytelling is all god-tier. If you watch this as your first anime, trust me your standards are going to be set very high for any future animes you may watch. Once you're in, you're in.
I've watched all current episodes (and OVAs) multiple times (in both subbed and dubbed) and I'm still picking up on small details I never noticed, it's that well made.
This is like a good book, you get to the end of a chapter, you should put it down but you want to know what happens next. But don't binge it, you will need a bit of time to process the information given to you (there are a few episodes that just drops a lot of info/lore on you).
Though, be careful, the AOT fandom is known for being spoiler heavy. The smallest Google search could give spoilers.
But overall great reaction to the openings and hopefully you guys react to the anime

I've found Attack on Titan is probably one of the most palatable animes for non-anime watchers. It bridges the gap really well. Also, if you're not particularly familiar with Japanese culture, watch with dubs. The subs aren't localized very well and can be really confusing for people who don't know certain tropes. For example, making fun of someone's accent. You'll get it in dubs, subs not so much. Subs are a good run for a second watch for new viewers of anime in general.

While it's not well known, Banana Fish is a good entry level anime for the adult viewer, it does what it needs to do extremely well and is hard hitting. Funny though since the manga it's based on was written for young women. Trust me, its realistic, gritty and extremely dark when it's covering topics that do affect the real world.
And the soundtrack really works well for it too. I could mention so many different things to watch, but this works because it's grounded so well

Attack on Titan is a Dark Epic fantasy/Mystery and question driven Anime, the main strength of the show is it's plot which is incredible in it's layers, payoffs and complexity and the worldbuilding is great in the show. This is the most amazing story I have ever seen in my life! And I mean compared to Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, Matrix, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, etc... I mean line it up next to all the greats and it's just amazing! If you want to watch the show, watch the show but WTH do people keep watching the openings to the show???? I don't know why anybody would recommend this to you guys. It's just full of spoilers. Hopefully you won't remember anything that you've seen and can just watch the show and be surprised like everybody else. I really really want that for you because the show is just amazing! Please please please go to season one episode one of Attack on Titan! 🙏🙏🙏. You will be so glad that you did!

This is actually a good entry anime cuz its not super into the typical anime tropes so its more digestible compared to normal anime

People hating on the end are silly. And the ones attacking the author are ignorant and evil themselves and are equivalent to a mindless titan. The ending while I don't like it, makes sense. Deal with it, grow up. Lol

Just watch Attack on Titan (shingeki no kyojin). The OST for this anime is awesome. The animation knocks you on your face. Captain Levi steals every scene he shows up in. And the best part is that the plot is excellent, gripping, surprising, full of action and mystery. I've been watching anime for almost 30 years and have seen plenty of excellent ones, but Shingeki no Kyojin is a whole other dimension of class. Since the first episode in 2013, the popularity of this anime has not waned and its most loyal fans are probably people in their 20s and even 30s who have seen more than one and finally got something original and awesome interesting. People's jaws literally drop when they watch Shingeki no Kyojin.

    Starter Anime:
"anime that don't feel like anime"
(anime for people new to anime or anime for non-anime fans)
(age of viewer needs to be taken into consideration though of course, as some of these are more mature anime, so might not be good for younger viewers, even if they're good for those new to anime or who're non-anime fans)
(generally, "quirky" = common anime characteristics/culture/themes/tropes/etc, and fanservice/ecchi-ness, aren't good for people new to anime or who're non-anime fans, you want to stay away from these, until they get used to anime a bit more, so that its "culture shock" won't be so great, when/if they do encounter it with watching other/more anime, lol, so while there's some/many otherwise really good starter anime, they got too much of the fanservice/ecchiness/etc for them to be starter anime)
    (not ranked, just listed)
    1A. Full Metal Alchemist
    and/or
    1B. Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood
    2. Attack On Titan
    3. Death Note
    4. Monster (I've not seen it, so I don't know what's in it, but if they're into criminality/psychological-terror/murderers-psychopaths-sociopaths/etc, this may be good for them)
    4. Berserk
    5. Claymore
    6. Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex
    7. Black Lagoon
    8. The Big O
    9. Samurai Champloo
    10. Rurouni Kenshin (especially Samurai X: trust and betrayal: the 3-4 part OVAs of kenshin's origins)
    11. Cowboy Bebop
    12. Nana (more for girls, so, I've not seen it, so not sure if this is a good anime for people new to anime or for non-anime fans, but it is known as one the best anime for females of all time, though this may not translate to being good for an introduction to anime)
    13. Violet Evergarden
    14. Baccano
    15. Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom
    16. Mobile Suit Gundam Wing (as a mecha, and deep/advanced subject: behaviorism, and political, anime, it's not for everyone, but otherwise it's very "western" / non-anime-like, and has great english dub too)
    17. Blood+ (while this is unfortunately not for everyone, got to be patient with it, it's a good anime for those new to anime and/or who're non-anime fans)
    18. Demon Slayer
    19. Hunter x Hunter
    20. Parasyte
    -----
if people like the gruesome horror anime and/or torture/death/etc stuff anime, then such anime may be good for them, it depends what else is within those anime for such people... lol
(I don't like this type of stuff, so I can't talk about such anime)
(some examples: Devilman: Crybaby, Another, Tokyo Ghoul, Higurashi no naku koro ni = US: When they cry, Shiki, Deadman Wonderland)

WIT studio maybe the one of the best anime studio that approach 2D animation with 3D background. Yeah, they completely build the city in 3D basically and put 2D character on it. ❤

This show is often called the Game of Thrones of anime in that it’s a deep, well-written story with complex characters and dark themes, with high production value, etc. it’s basically the best that anime has to offer, is the general consensus. The only drawback is that for some it might take a while to get into, but it’s worth it I think.

best anime to start with is either this or "death note", both are peak fiction, death note is almost 3 times shorter, less peak but still peak, only last few episodes are good, not great like rest of it and with attack on titan every episode is amazing but it will end probably in 2023 and i've heard the last couple episodes wouldnt be as good too but idk

The fourth and final season of Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin) is divided into 3 parts, we've already seen Part 1 and 2, and the third and final part will premiere in 2023 but we don't know when yet. You can see a lot of titans and people fighting them however the story is intricate and quite political. It's one of the best and most popular animes of the last decade, and so are the openings.

You should definitely check out anime’s like this. There’s more to anime than you think. Each frame of animation is practically a work of art on its own. And the show has a hefty amount of cinematic shots.
You should probably have tried looking for uploads of this with subs, as the lyrics tend to follow the main themes of the show.
And are you guys not aware of shows having more than one intro? Most long running shows tend to have multiple intros, ranging from The Simpson’s, South Park and more.

the Attack on Titan anime is one of the luckiest things possible.
The Attack on titan manga was not that popular and its drawings were pretty bad, also nobody knew at the time the writing/plot would turn out to be so intelligent and complex, so the decision to give it an anime adaptation was a pretty big risk and its also super lucky that they choose the best studio ever for animation and direction (Wit Studio) which at the time nobody knew was that good.
So Attack on Titan came out with great animation, music, direction from the studio and with amazing writing from Season 2 and forward from the author, as lucky as it can get.
