Im not even exaggerating when I saw that Attack on Titan is probably one of the best things I've watched like, ever. Very few TV Shows, movies, or cartoons or animes in my mind top it. Genuinely one of my favorite pieces of media of all time, great for those who like action, mystery, and a LOT of very surprising twists. Its like I watched expecting a straightforward story about some dude killing titans with his homies and got WAY more ideologies and moral dilemmas thrown at me than I signed up for lmao.
The people who say the ending of the anime was bad are just a loud minority, when you check reviews and comments on most "ranking" sites you are going to see that the vast majority of people liked it. I'm someone who disliked the ending in the manga but seeing it animated completely changed my opinion, it went from a 7/10 to a 9.5/10 show.
Agreed, same here. I hated the manga ending with passion, but the ending in the anime tweaked and fleshed things out enough for me to change my mind about it. Not the greatest ending in my opinion, but pretty good for sure.

In the manga he learned that at the beginning, then starts making silly remarks about Mikasa finding a better guy than Eren. In the anime, he learns that afterwards, and is appropriately shocked at the revelation. Him taking part of the responsibility for Eren's decision also seems in character, contrary to "thank you Eren for committing genocide for our sake". Eren's self-revelation that he was an idiot was very important, because it ended the speculation and closed any debate about his motives throughout the Marley arc. It also sealed him as a tragic character stuck in a time loop of his own making. It was a very important closure for many who were dissatisfied with the ending. Ymir's final appearance was less satisfying, but it somewhat made the idea that she was a "slave to love", just like Mikasa, more digestible in the anime. It turns out Kenny's words had a bigger impact on the story than anticipated. I don't like how prominent the romantic love theme was in the end, since it didn't play a big role initially, but I can live with that.

The debate on Eren's motives were closed when he admitted that he did it as a tantrum, it was the same scene in the manga as in the anime. They even went as far as to make an alternative manga ending (AOT no Requiem) where Eren seems to be a mastermind who's in full control of his "memories of the future" ability. I think ending this debate was necessary for a lot of those people.

Your other question about studio change is, well, at first, from season 1 to 3, they were animated by Wit Studio (A really amazing studio) Then the last season was animated by Mappa (The ones who did Jujutsu Kaisen , Chainsaw Man and many other popular animes) . There were like two small main scenes with a bit of bad CGI at the beginning of season 4, which made people mad. Otherwise, you know how much great the animators are at Mappa . The other question about how people were dissatisfied with manga/anime ending well honestly when do you think people aren't dissatisfied? 99% of the time a show ends, people will want to have an ending which they would prefer but that's not the case with the story right ? Believe me the ending was a masterpiece in its own way (despite it not being an ending people wanted it was an ending that suited the show the best) I really REALLY recommend you watching this series as it is easily an SSS tier story with leaving no question unanswered (99% of the time) and all situations having amazing drama and story progression . But AoT is really good, it's more of a Philosophical and thought provoking show really, This is why the Fans of this show is divided, those who are okay with the ending probably understood the message at least, But those who hated it are those who watch a lot of shows that are easy to digest and understand because it has this good vs evil thingy which most of people will root for good side. and most people loves revenge and wants to see it in action, but as you can probably guess, most revenge story always are tragedy story. AoT has titans but this anime really focuses more to our human nature . Like corruption, and people discriminate if you're poor or not etc.

Under the Tree would be considered as an ending but people call it an opening bc the TH-cam video that has all openings says 1 - 9 (it includes Under the Tree as the opening after The Rumbling, which are both from the same band SIM, but the the thing is that Under the Tree was made for one single 1+ hour episode that's almost a movie) even though it's an ending. If you look for the TH-cam video of the endings, most likely it won't show Under the Tree so make sure you add it, if needed, right before the last ending you watch. It lasts almost 2 minutes instead of the usual 1:30 minutes that almost all openings and endings tend to last. Under the Tree doesn't feel like an ending or an opening but it's an ending.
Attack on Titan is definitely a masterpiece with its spatial story and massages. The plot is sometimes difficult, but also very deep and emotional. However, the story opens up different perspectives and makes you think about the characters' decisions.
This is probably the best thing you will ever watch, that is why I recommend not to go deep into openings and not spoil the show for yourself. good luck

A lot of the symbolism is esoteric. It makes sense to us because we have all the answers. The only thing that’s spoilery is the 5th opening. But even then, it just spoils the fighting. It doesn’t show the actual lore.

The point of a translation team is to make things make sense not translate 1 to 1. This is why fan translations of games are usually ass because they do not put effort in to actually make it make sense in English. React to the endings! I believe there are 9. Under the Tree would be considered as an ending but people call it an opening bc the TH-cam video that has all openings says 1 - 9 (it includes Under the Tree as the opening after The Rumbling, which are both from the same band SIM, but the the thing is that Under the Tree was made for one single 1+ hour episode that's almost a movie) even though it's an ending. If you look for the TH-cam video of the endings, most likely it won't show Under the Tree so make sure you add it, if needed, right before the last ending you watch. It lasts almost 2 minutes instead of the usual 1:30 minutes that almost all openings and endings tend to last. Under the Tree doesn't feel like an ending or an opening but it's an ending.
Attack on Titan is definitely a masterpiece with its spatial story and massages. The plot is sometimes difficult, but also very deep and emotional. However, the story opens up different perspectives and makes you think about the characters' decisions.

A lot of the symbolism is esoteric. It makes sense to us because we have all the answers. The only thing that’s spoilery is the 5th opening. But even then, it just spoils the fighting. It doesn’t show the actual lore.

Not exactly,thats the actual official title when it got localized,not only in english,the spanish localization is also the same (ataque a los titanes = attack on the titans),they way you worded it makes it seem like some random dude made a fan translation and thats why every one calls it that,is it wrongly translated? Like every single english localization and dub,yes,but its not as simple as "some one said so and thats why everyone calls it that way".
The point of a translation team is to make things make sense not translate 1 to 1. This is why fan translations of games are usually ass because they do not put effort in to actually make it make sense in English. Attaxk on Titan still has the reference to the show on the title while also making since from episode 1.
