aw i just wanna give isaac one big hug look at lil isaac
shootmewithawatergun aww me too
Met Isaac back at a show in Arizona. He's truly an awesome, genuine guy on a whole other level than anyone else on this planet.
It bears mentioning that the portrait was commissioned as part of a larger series of paintings of Portland's indie musicians by Brian Wannamaker, founder of the Falcon Art Community, which is a very cool studio space with lots of great artists and musicians, like Storm Large, whose portrait is also in the series.
I WANT THAT PAINTING.
Nice to see real talent, celebrated for a change.
I live in Seattle and it's a great city, but sometimes I feel like moving to Portland just to be closer to Isaac and Modest Mouse, maybe have a chance at seeing them in a small venue again some time.
i love issac when he's sober. When he's fucked up he says fucked up shit, which I also enjoy, but in this he just seemed very genuine
Does anyone else get Napoleon vibes from Isaac??
Me too!

He looks a little like Elijah Wood here.
yeah i highly doubt they play any small venues anywhere in the world
David Houdini you never know. he certainly started out playing tiny places and has progressed through the years. There are plenty of stories of musicians playing under pseudonyms or secret shows to do clubs... one never knows.
Saw them at a fairly small venue just over the weekend.
@@austinb5821 Same thing 3 years later. I expect it was the only small venue on the tour, but there couldn't have been more than 200 people there. Feel very lucky to have seen them play such a small place.
Looks like he dropped a few pounds
He's so tiny
Mal gusto
extra odd
dont like the pants, otherwise awesome painting.
