I was in the park near his house and heard them jamming. It gave me the chills, though the music just sounded like laid back jamming. More recently, I was working at a sub shop in Seattle and Eric Judy came in. I was too shy to say "I love your band!" and alas I was the only one who recognized him. Though all my coworkers were fans. //coolstorybro
“Woah, your house is beautiful” Isaac: “I know” Usually I would think someone would be kinda douchey to respond that way but somehow it makes sense with Isaac Brock and I’m okay with it

i love his house O_O i love him soooo much, the band the music the attitude everything everything but actually now i have to say i'd love to live in this house. wow
When he opens the door and they're both standoffish, not a handshake, not a hug, just an odd first interaction... As someone who was born and raised in the South, now living in Portland, this is extremely accurate of the natives. No hugs, very rare hellos or even eye contact.
If I were rich my house would probably look a lot like this. Just a huge house with boring ass shit inside. I would rather pay for huge amounts of space to do stupid shit in than expensive shit inside the house that would probably end up costing more than the house itself
@rojorulet I wholeheartedly agree, As soon as I heard that classic MM Harmonic , It reminded me of how they used it in the lonesome crowded west, a more specific example, Cowboy Dan. but it was a higher pitch like sort of in Blue Cadet-3 or something. So stoked to hear the rest of the album!
Good to see Isaac is exactly how he is in his songs, up front, modest, caring for humanity and to the point, God bless Isaac, you beat Metallica & all poser bands hands down, your lyrics make me laugh even in the midst of narcissistic hatred of the world !!!

@UnrealAppeal It's a new song band it hasn't been officially released. I suspect it will wind up on the new LP whenever they get around to making that. On a side-note youtube user ChiefTragedy has edited it out of the video and uploaded it by itself so if you want easy access to it find his channel.
fuck. thanks, isaac. now i love you more even if i don't like dead animals. "i didn't really plan for anything, it's lucky it worked out that way or i would have been fucked" - words to live by!
I envy his hardwork and dedication to music let alone anything. I can see his feelings nervously in this video, any negs go back and watch the trio jammin out to Lonesome Crowded West.
I just simply love Isaac, he is like so real, and he does not force himself into pretending he is something he is not, and, he make smusic for himself, not for others, I mean, even when people started complaining about their new style, he just kept on doing it, because thats what he likes.
As a person that lives right across the river from Portland I can say that Portland is kind of a shitty place to live now because of all the homeless camps.
He's come a long way from that first documentary where he borrows 99 cents to get a beer which won't get a Heineken because "they're getting rich off of beer" and settles for a Mickey's.
"your house is beautiful!"
isaac: "i know"
That was funny 👍
He can't believe it either
