Thanks for this tutorial. I'm expecting my X1C to arrive tomorrow and I'm ready to print a dust adapter for my CNC Dust extractor that will hopefully fit much better than duct tape.

    New to 3d Printing.
Got Fusion and your explanation to work. First drawing in Fusion.
    Now printing. Fingers Crossed.
    Thanks

Spectacular video!!! The clearest and easiest to follow. Learning Fusion, and I picked up several pointers while building the User Parameter list and several adapters. NICE work!!!

This was a very interesting tasking and the completed model looked very functional. Over the years I have discovered that if something (like the adapters) were a little small then I might be able to add one, or more, layers of Duct Tape to increase the size slightly so that it fits the connection better. Additionally, the tape tends to fill slight gaps better and I end up with a better seal and holding capability for things like the sweeper connections. It was difficult to see the sizes in the video on my iPad, but in the future if you could show how you measured the connected pieces and how you decided inside vs external connections. I would think that we would want the air-flow to be easier flowing from the tool to the sweeper and to ensure there wasn’t any step-blocking in that direction.

With an X1C, you could do those in multiple colors. Use a color close to the tool brand's color for the end that goes into that tool brand. It looks like I am about to dive into 3D printing, and the plethora of D/C fitting is one of the problems pushing me over the edge. Mucosa Gracia for putting this video together.

Len, Great video. Any chance I could get a copy of a couple of your files that I could use to modify for my adapters? Thank you very much. Brian
