Up to now, some people still cannot grasp how vast the SCS is that even if the tensions are happening in only one particular sea territory , they just say SCS. PH US Navy drills for example was conducted within the WPS aka PH EEZ. This means China Navy has no business in that area . When radio challenged by PH Navy, they did not respond like sneaky bitches. The China Navy then disappeared and did not shadow anymore the following days.

I highly doubt there will be a war between China and Taiwan. Unlike Ukraine, the Taiwanese are wise enough to know that they are being used as pawns by foreign powers and Taiwan will certainly be the biggest victim in case of a war. Most western people seem to underestimate the wisdom of Confucius culture over political differences.

Taiwan china conflict is different from the west philippine issue. International law of the sea is clear 200nautical miles distance boundary from the nearest island of a certain country. That is his sovereign jurisdiction.. they want 600 nautical miles tripled of what was in the law.. therefore not acceptable..as a law abiding nation..every nation must follow the RULES OF THE SEA..

Also, it didn't start as 9 dash line. It started as 11 dashed lines by both PRC (mainland China) and ROC (Taiwan). As for the 10th dash line, it's not "introduce" in 2023. The earliest it has been sighted was in 1984. Also, both China and Taiwan rejected the tribunal which ruled that China (and by extension, Taiwan which has their own 11-dash line) does not have a claim on the territory within those lines.
