This is so timely because I have wanted to do more research into tallow! We always save all of our rendered fats from cooking any kind of meat or certainly anything that solidifies on the top of stocks and broths. I didn't realize that tallow was any fat rendered from beef, I thought maybe there was another step in the process. So I've been making tallow and didn't know it! lol. You mentioned Omega 7 and that is new to me because I feel like you always hear about Omegas 3,6,9, and 12. I am so excited about the tallow skincare video next week because I also have stretch marks I would love to heal!

I have lot's of fresh basil in the garden and typically will make infused olive oil with it. I'm wondering if I could make Basil-infused Tallow? I would greatly appreciate your thoughts. I'm guessing the process would be the same??? TY!!

I have grass feed tallow and I use it for macaroni and cheese instead of butter thank you for sharing and caring
I have just recently started using tallow for cooking and skincare. ❤
We tend to cook with duck fat or pork lard more often than tallow.
