Looks like a mix of halo, overwatch and a little bit of destiny.

@@Sangth123 Battle Operation 2 is a monument to wasted potential. A cash grap gacha shitfest with garbage netcode and a terrible rating system.
Who knows if this game will be any better but that pitiful little chip on your shoulder is embarrassing, crawl back to your B- grind.
Now THIS look's fun. Different twist in the Gundam universe, certainly intriguing given how many different weapons for combat to use, hopefully more to be shown on display.
This imo is a genius idea. It's basically a fps hero shooter with Gundam instead of the heroes. Genius

It looks like a cross between Gundam and Overwatch. Since I'm a fan of both properties, I know I'm going to enjoy this game. Even better that it's going to be free to play! ^_^

It's literally Overwatch with a gundam skin on it.
No titan fall, no halo, its overwatch. The objectives are like overwatch, healing items like overwatch, ui, skins, loot box unlock, key bindings etc... all the same as overwatch.
So if you liked overwatch and gubdam this is it. If not you'll probably hate it.

I wouldn't call that a triple A but more of a ( we have 100 people working on it instead of 8) tipe thing but it looks great, can't wait to try it

After playing the network test.. I’ve never had this much fun in an arena/hero shooter. This game is a blast.

Never thought gundam would be the thing to make me reconsider fps games, this is insane
I love this I really like the gameplay so far. Please just add a little more weight to the way the mobile suits move and maybe some small environment details like trees and buildings to make you really feel like your in a mobile suit. I’m afraid without that it will just feel like another Overwatch clone.
The maps are both inside and outside locations there's at least one map in space
I like the way GBO2 feels. You feel like you in a mech suit. This seems so fast paced and light.
Tbf, while bo2 feels like your in a mech suit, I'd say Evo may feel more like the mech suit is a gundam

Playing the beta I wanna say this game is real fun. The matches are a lot more fast paced than overwatch and a lot less focused on hiding behind friendly shields
My one piece of advice is that the mechs should feel like they are mechs. Convey a sense of scale so it feels like you're using a giant robot as opposed to power armor. Still, it being free to play lowers the threshold of quality they need to meet.
F2P shouldn't mean lower quality. Look at Gundam Battle Operation 2, for example. It's also F2P but the weighted, mechanical movement of the suits really makes you feel like they're actual mechs (as opposed to the blindingly fast pace of other games such as the Gundam EXVS series).
However, the gameplay on this looks WAY differently from GBO2, so I don't think the fast movement's an issue. It's probably meant for a different target audience anyway.
@@rvides5417 I mean blindingly fast makes sense too its gundam it's not exactly a super realistic anime the only thing the gundam games need to convey is the weight of the mobile suit so sound and shaking when they walk around the speed can be either way tbh.
There is no universal standard for how a giant robot should move and feel like. There's a sea of difference between the Getter machines and Daitarn 3, between a VF series Valkyrie and an Orbital Frame. Not everything moves as clunkily as the Iron Giant.
Gundams should feel like Gundams.
For me blindingly fast makes sense for certain suits like the dom which is constantly hovering. I will also totally accept the speed when they are boosting.
This isnt Mechwarrior, have you ever seen Gundam? They dont exactly lumber about.
Needs a city level for additional scale immersion.
This just makes me miss SDGO Capsule Fighter even more... Been 7 years since the servers shut down... Will try this though

You need iron sights so the COD bros don't get lost but for everyone else that likes seeing their target they can just look at the reticle
Well lorewise; weapons in Gundam are aimed with cameras on the gun rather then actual sights. So it kinda makes sense; what doesn't make sense it's him having to hold up the gun.

Aside from the mobile suits seem to be moving way too fast for multi-ton machines, it looks to be an interesting game. I would probably pick it up and see how it plays compared to GBO2, for example.
I wish they'd just stick to one time period (like why would I even wanna be a Zaku or guntank, when Zazabi or Exia is available), but other than me just being nitpicky it looks great.
because then you wouldnt have enough choice in a hero shooter when everyone on each team has to be a different character.
Game balancing exist. Although for grunt Suits, maybe not much of help.

I hope this game isn't disappointing like Gundam Versus was on the PS4. I'm still a bit irked about how Gundam Versus got a few DLC and then suddenly the game stopped getting support. I don't mind paying money for DLC as long as the game is supported for the long term and improves the gameplay with patches.
Out of cuirousity did you get to play Gundam Versus Maxi boost that came after? That basically was a port form the arcade game but brought back everything great. No dlc but thats mainly cause there was already plenty of suits.
This game is free tho so doesn't hurt to try it out

The scale looks so off and I kinda wish it was a bit more crazy with the movement like being able to fly into the air and such, I was kinda hoping for a more Armored Core style rather than an overwatch clone.
