If they are not making any money from it, it can be classed as free advertising. I'm sure that if UM wanted to claim the ad revenue from the video SVC would be quite happy with that. The more people react to videos more get to see the band, and the more the word gets spread around about. And then more people go and buy the merch that UM put out and more sales keeps the band going, esp seeing as they self release and do not have a big label to support them.
