LOVEBITES and UNLUCKY MORPHEUS are the new metal sensation today, they both deserve to become famous, particularly UNLUCKY MORPHEUS because they don't have any label or producer and do everything with their own money, a lesson for any band !!
The song is based on Final Fantasy 8, with the words Time compressing, Lion's heart, Squall, GF ruining memories, witch, etc they also use final boss quotes, add in Fki with the horns looks like Edea. Shiren is a big FF8 fan. If you want a tune with the guitar and violin working together, try "Spartan Army" (live) or another to check out is "Angreifer" (live). Angreifer was writen before Jill joined the band, but due to Shiren's illness, he has a rest, and she takes over his part, but on the violin.

Japanese metal bands are whole another level. Babymetal, Band-Maid, Ningen Isu, Maximum The Hormone are some popular ones. They really created a fresh and a whole new genre for metal music.
Dignity of Spirit, Knight of Sword, Takiyasha Hime, Angreifer from Unlucky Morpheus.. The vocalist Fuki also has solo project, try Bloody Rain, She also featured in Syu's (Galneryus's guitarist) solo project, try Reason.. Maybe check Galneryus as well, they are japanese power metal band, try Angel of Salvation, Destiny, Raise My Sword, Force of Courage (try the live version, it's far better than the MV version)

All we know is that in the interview she had with a subculture magazine, Quick Japan, she said she's influenced by Kuroneko, the female singer of Onmyouza. If you listen to Onmyouza, I think you can tell the similarities between them, imo. EDIT: btw, Kuroneko is self-trained.
