Yay Pauper! Thanks guys, love the format and the games. I caught part of the stream and was hoping this video would throw some of the cards up when they were talking about them, but they might come up too quickly they way they jump around their plan lol.
Jamin actually programed a crazy piece of tech for our stream manager to be able to display the cards played :) we are testing it out tomorrow and next week's stream will hopefully have the cards in the overlay :)

Update:
It went pretty well, the deck was tons of fun to play!
Game 1: 2-1 [Victory]
Game 2: 0-2 [Loss]
Game 3: 2-0 [Victory]
Ended up 4th place out of 8, not bad :)
1 year later, do you still remember the decklist? I love the deck, but find it overall lacking nowadays.
Just build and played these 2 decks against each other last night with a friend and while on the video it looks like the black deck is way stronger in my experience they're about even. Very fun and intering matchup.
Mono black devotion keeps underperforming online but keeps showing up in paper. Love the deck! Poor Squadron Hawks never stood a chance >:)

Severin should be at 16 and opponent should be at 9.

I noticed that both of you were playing with a mix of Deutsch and English language cards. Was that intentional? Or did you have a shortage of commons?
I believe their sponsor for the decks is a German cardmarket seller so it is only normal that some cards are in German.
I look forward to the day their sponser expands to the U.S. I switched from buying only English cards to mostly German cards a year ago to save my sanity (I've been collecting/playing since Ice Age and have so many English cards that I couldn't keep them straight; it was easier just to start over in German). lol
also they are in Germany lol

wizards doesnt announce or schedule future banlist changes (evidently nobody wants to play the game if they know a banning is coming up), so they just happen whenever. for reference the last one was when EI and Winota got banned in pioneer in june

Second of all: what kind of math is going on at 43:10? 8+8 = 14 and 17-8 = 12?
Seems like the graphic wasn't accurate, Thoralf went to 6 at 40:25 and Jamin's life also went down twice for seemingly no reason (he should still be at 20). Maybe whoever was updating the life totals thought Thoralf was tapping the witches to attack instead of using its ability?

I'm trying to understand why Thoralf has mentioned rolling one die in a negative light. Is it that people rolling one can more easily affect the outcome than two if they're trying to cheat?

I played a kinda pauper deck in zendikar rising, played white weenie.

I want to get into Pauper, but I feel like I would agonize on what to sideboard. That, and Commander usually has me collecting one or two copies of cards outside of the legality, as opposed to the proper Pauper three-of's or four-of's.
Luckily, with pauper you can often buy the whole deck for about 20-60€ :) so you don't need to use cards solely from your collection
Sideboards tend to be pretty overlapping wrt colors. So you can share sb with a lot of decks.

At 1:04:00 If the creature dies the connive trigger fizzles as it‘s the creature that connives so if it dies, it can‘t do so. An important detail against Raffine too in Standard right now
That is not correct. They played it right.
Raffine fizzles bc it targets, most connive triggers don't target

Years ago when I played WW, MBC was one of easiest matchups. WW was strong against affinity, mbc, stompy, even vs various controls and entirely defensless against storm decks. It was fairly strong, mid-range type of deck. I hate how weak this version you play it today. This is not an ultra aggro deck like stompy! WW back in my days played often 4 drops like Guardian of the Guildpact or Battle Screech.
Key cards of white weenie were Bonesplitter, Razor Golem, Benevolent Bodyguard and Kor Skyfisher. it had amazing sideboard cards: Serrated arrows, dust to dust, crimson acolite.
Jamin, WitcheS (mit dem plural S am Ende). Also sind es mehrere Hexen, nicht nur eine
