Another tech it to load your gun before leaping then in the air fire it and after miliseconds before landing hit them with your mele. This way u deal about 120 dmg on landing

if you wanna get super technical, only do this if theyre already low. if they’re full hp, it’s actually a faster time to kill if you fire in the air, land on them, and continue shocking until you can finish with a melee. it’s slower to cancel your melee upon landing and starting up the tesla cannon; there’s a video on it

Also you can use railgun in the punch jump combo for maximum damage. It's difficult to do correctly but it's very good.

Another thing about the Primary-Melee combo: While it deals the same DPS against normal targets, you actually get a little more damage against Armor as your melee damage isn't as reduced as the Primary vs Armor, so it helps two-fold in those scenarios.

Actual good tips, also, if you want, tho it's difficult if you're "short" jumping, you can charge your secondary fire and fire it mid air, so you do 50+30(melee)+45 (landing) damage

Time to add more as I know these already:
Use Winston's secondary fire when leaping on a target then melee as you land, began shocking them. This is a 120 burst combo and the shock will kill them very soon. If they are all alone use secondary fire before leap and during leap

@Andrew Taylor I wouldn't say it's better. It's easier and more efficient, but I'd say controllers are better. Games are meant to be played on controllers, in my opinion.

I just tested that melee tip, has something changed since this patch?
To kill a 200HP enemy with just lightning takes 3.77 seconds on my stopwatch. To kill the same enemy with melee only takes 6.32 seconds on the same stopwatch.
That tip doesnt feel correct.

You have probably tested it wrong;
It takes around 3.5 seconds to kill a 200 hp target. Shock does 60dps, meaning 30 damage per 0.5s. Melee also does 30dmg and the animation lasts exactly 0.5 seconds. This means that, if you shock and melee at the same time, you will be shocking for 30dmg over 0.5s, and the other half of the second will be occupied by the melee animation for other 30dmg, dealing a total of 60dps per second, just like the shock alone, with the exception that you will be saving half your ammo.
Just test it with a metronome set at 120bpm and try to start attacking a 200hp target in practice range, mixing shock only with shock and melee.

Don't forget the combo just got changed again too, now that your alt fire recharge rate is noticeably higher.

p.s. reading your comment again it feels very off. Of course "melee only" takes double the time as using "shock only", it is simply because melee does exactly half the damage of shock (30 dps VS 60 dps). That was not the point of the whole thing; it is that you have to alternate melee and shock over 1 second.
