Overwatch 2 is getting big changes in Season 3! There will be a new Control map called Antarctic Peninsula, changes to monetization, earnable credits, and changes to the competitive mode!

Im not excusing their previous actions and neither are they they've acknowledged that they needed to communicate and listen to the community a lot more and that's exactly what their doing they've so far earned my respect by being so proactive and open rather than giving vague PR answers. I got to give credit where credit is due they have made huge changes to benefit us players and are continuing to make big steps forward toward a better experience

It’s pretty hard to do honestly. They can get there. The biggest thing is the role select times. They try to get you in a game quick over quality of play.
i'd say it should've been done with role queue release, but realistically it would've been even worse wait times for games

@@ervinaspetrauskas1716 that's only speculative though, and unlike with Apex, OW2 and other Blizzard/Activision games they use entire regions for matchmaking.
For NA, it's the entire continent. For Europe and Asia it's the same, rather than being more locally matchmade like some other games do.

Sadly they give you the "old cutrency" that is only usable on bad legendary skins or emotes/trivial cosmetics

No, Dunmuir thats not how "diff" works.
If they match each role on opposite teams based on MMR, you will still have diff but it will be for BOTH teams. So the roles will be bad or good for both teams.
If it's for BOTH teams there's no diff. That's how it works. If their dps is rolling your supports, your dps should in theory be able to do the same to their supports, so no dps diff. Same for the other roles

It's gonna be the same as the support "rework". Bare minimum chances at best.
The free credits in the battelpass are not the yellow ones that you need to buy legendaries even though it is literally yellow in the battlepass, it's actually the Grey credits that you can use to buy up to purple rarity skins and voicelines.
Not even epic/purple skins can be bought, only the rare/blue recolours

You can buy old legendarios, you just don’t have enough so it’s not showing up as an option yet. I’ve done it
Got past a few of the levels on the battle pass where it gives you credits, I look at my credit in the shop menu and nothing changes. It's exactly the same as it was before

@@johnnycaralta the game literally went free to play and as they are trying to bring in new players they gotta make money somehow to pay employees and the upkeep of servers. Atleast allowing older players to spend their legacy credits now is a step in the right direction

For those who don’t know, you do get 1500-2000 credits but you can’t buy legendary skins 💀only certain rare or epic skins
No, once you have enough credits to purchase whichever item you want you get the option to use coins or credits.
Like if you only have lets say 200 credits, but want to buy a highlight intro for someone you would have to buy it with coins OR wait until you get to 300 (I know the intros are 250 but you earn credits in 100s) and then then game allows you to choose which currency to spend.
So all the Skins we who paid for OverWatch one will now be easily accessible to everybody. Removing one of the final perks to being an OverWatch 1 player
The lab mei was frozen in was actually a different map in overwatch 1.
You were even able to play that map in the Mei game modes during the christmas event last year.

I usually just hop on after work and play 1 or 2 games for the daily challenges, then grab the last few weekly ones over the weekend. It doesn't take too long to max out the battle pass like that
Just a heads up, you cannot use the credits on the battle pass to buy skins above the blue tier. You still need overwatch coins for that.
You can get epic skins plus emotes and all the other stuff lucky I played the first one and got skins
This is not true, you just have to actually have enough credits to buy whichever item you want. Then the option to choose coins or credits pops up.

Im diamond and half the other teams have the top500 and gm challenger thing, the matchmaking is so broken
One change I noticed is that Widowmaker now has 175 HP
They had it at 200 because Blizz thought she'd get rolled now that it's 5v5 but that definitely wasn't the case and she was and still is a problem.
@@aephos-overwatchdefinitely not a big problem, only good widows are a problem, and a small one, widow is easy to deal with and easy to dodge. If you can’t manage to deal with a widow, that is simply what you’d call a skill issue.

But aren’t there credits(the silver coins you get in the battle pass) and ow coins (the gold ones you pay for) cuz I looked and it’s still the gold coins to get legendary skins and the silver credits only let you get like the blue skins
