The Japanese kimono in the thumbnail image is not correct. that is the Chinese dress.
It is difficult for non-Asians to distinguish between Asian folk costumes.

You are correct. The pink one at the thumbnail is Chinese Hanfu. Btw, cheongsam, is not really a traditional Chinese dress as its invention is after 1900 and it’s mimicking Manchu dress not Han Chinese dress.

saree deserves to be at no.1, its one of the most ancient dresses of the world, but now also its a very important part of our lives, even the little girls in our country wear saree at ocassions like durga puja, saraswati puja etc. proud to be an indian.
All those countries have such stunning traditional outfits. Very hard to pick my favorite, but I do love, Vietnam, Norway and just can't get enough of India. Proud Indian from South Africa 👍🏻

Hanboks hanfu and kimono I like them but they are very plain and simple and sometimes boring . Among these 3 , hanfu is really beautiful , but no one can beat lehenga and saree from india .

Hanbok has many kinds of skirts as well as A-line skirt. (전단후장형 치마(it means front is short, back is long skirt), 접음단 치마(folding skirt(?), tiered skirt, accordion skirt etc)
Silhouette has A-line, H-line and Bell shape.
Hanfu skirt is also diverse.
(wrinkled skirt, striped skirt, box pleat etc)

Every dress were in different style in each Chinese dynasty. Hanfu is too general, hanfu from Qin dynasty is different from Tang dynasty.

I think Ao Dai (the Vietnamese traditional dress) is very comfortable.
Saree is comfortable depending on the material it is made of. Atleast half of female population in Indian wear saree every while working and some wear it even while sleeping.
@@JoanKSX It actually isn't. The women's ao dai is very form fitting and meant to show off your figure. The only thing really comfortable about it is that it's traditionally made from silk which makes it easier to move in but that's about it.
