    Thank you for your video. I am getting the exact results as you with my 2022 F250. Same mileage, and same differentiation between the “Lie o meter” and actual mileage. No difference in eco as well. Thanks for verifying. But I love the truck and I’m glad I’m not paying for diesel anymore. Have a great day.

      That’s what I’m curious about. How loud inside is it pulling a trailer up hill. If it’s going to be loud and painful to hear, the hill will let you know.

    The "resonator right after the catalytic converters", not sure how restrictive that is. Other systems eliminate that, replace with pipe. Less restriction = better mileage and more power. That 5 inch tip looks primo for sure.

    • @saltytrips
      @saltytrips  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      And removing converters would be even more advantageous and so on and so forth.

    Opportunity. My cousin had the cat stolen from his 3500. The Cats and all the pipes they chopped up had to be replaced. It took 10 months and cost $9000. If you have some kind of a contraption to protect the cats from crooks, everybody would like to see that.

    Thanks for the upload on this. Great video! What gearing does your truck have? How is the cab drone? Have you towed with the new exhaust on yet, does it drone in the cab when towing?

    • @saltytrips
      @saltytrips  ปีที่แล้ว

      … thanks 👍, it’s 3.55 gears. I don’t really notice the drone, but that’s all “in the eye of the beholder” , everyone is different. When we pull the 5,000 lb boat it doesn’t seem to make any difference, can’t hardly tell it’s back there.

    • @joenewport6005
      @joenewport6005 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @saltytrips mine has the 4.30 gears. I'm worried about drone when towing if i change the exhaust. I tow about 10k and usually for 4-12hrs at a time once per month. I can't have the family all loaded up and deal with that, been through it before with MBRP on a different truck. I do like the sound of this exhaust though. Not obnoxious but almost like OEM+

      @SFD334 i just got back from a 2500mi trip towing and it's loud enough inside the truck in stock form. I can't imagine it being comfortable with an aftermarket setup. I'm going to try to build an exhaust that is stock noise level inside but a little louder outside. Maybe even a selectable of some sort.

      @saltytrips  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      … one of these days we’ll be closer to Ponce. We both work in central Florida. I’m pretty sure the only thing that will help you get better mpg out of this 7.3 Godzilla is by taping and egg to the gas pedal and trying not to crush it.

      @tommycrenshaw6038 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@saltytrips Yeah, I'd love to be nearer the water myself, but work in Maitland, live in Winter Park. Oh well. What kind of MPG do you see while towing your boat? My boat is likely very similar in weight to yours, so I'd be curious to know. If I'm towing, my F150 drops down to like 7.5-8mpg at a highway speed of 70mph on 528. It kills me. haha

      @@saltytrips Good video. I also had this version (installer series) on my 2020 F150. It was on there about 6 months before I sold the truck. I swapped the factory back on it before the truck left. I did have some corrosion already on the exhaust. Not bad, and it was out of site...but yes, that finish is susceptible to corrosion and I'm in Alabama. I did a review of the install on it on my page. I was able to get the factory F150 exhaust out in my driveway in one piece.

      I agree. also, I'd have to go buy another tool just for one job. Not worth it. not that i'm against getting more tools, but I've never had trouble getting those off, even when i used to turn a wrench as a mechanic. Cool idea though. Cutting the nips off would kinda be a pain if i had to remount the stock exhaust because the family didn't like it.
