Great Video!!! I have a 2016 Cardinal 5th Wheel. Here's a quick breakdown of what I have.... - I have 3 panal on it now, but want to upgrade it. - But the MFG, wiring only has the 2K inverter going to the residential Fridge. - The factory wiring has the shore power comming in on the drivers side rear, and the circut breaker box in the rear bedroom. - There's a 30 amp line comming from the braker box up front to a 30 amp Zantrex cutover box. - There's a 2K inverter up front comming off 2 lead deap cycle batteries, which then go to the residential refrigerator in the kitchen. - I don't believe the 50 Amp wireing goes up front. I want to add about 2K in Solar to the roof, expand the batteries, and install inverters up front, Like you. Questioons in you have any ideas / opinions on .... - Will I have to run the 50 Amp Shore power up front, and then run it back to the rear again to the existing breaker box ? - Did you have an issue like this ? - Also would I be better off keeping the existing 50 Amp Wiring and put a 50 Amp Cutover box in at the rear, and just run one 50 Amp line from the front back to the rear and the cutover box ? i.e. the front powering the rear when not on shore power What are your thoughts. Great breakdown on how AC and DC work. I have the little Victron 50. I did notice in my camper. Same one you have, there is a box mounted on the ceiling of the basement for some type of AC converter gizmo. What is that for?

I tore into mine a couple months ago because my cables were getting stiff and I’m getting some leakage. My valves have a hook on the end of the actuator rod vs the set pin. What a PITA to work those lose. I found the cables weren’t set correctly to close the black all the way. Now I am finding out the gray is leaking. I’d like to just replace the whole valves, but I cannot get them to slide out. Does your tanks sit side by side and empty into a wye? This set up is stupidly tight. I also have a 22 keystone Cougar (27SGS). I may have to cut some of the plumbing and fit a fence or something on there…I don’t know. Thanks for the video. I Ike the bolt jack idea!!

Can this be wired to show rear view when reverse gear is selected or do you have to press screen or speak to it

Interesting . My 2023 f350 mirrors do not go back exactly where they were each time they fold & unfold . That causes me to have to make slight adjustments to the mirrors each time . I wonder if the boost mirrors would solve that issue for me ?

I have owned late 90s 7.3 diesels , several work diesels including a 2022 with 6.7 & now my personal 2023 f350 srw crew cab 7.3 godzilla. For me the new diesels have to much crap on them + def. Personally im tired of hearing a diesel run with my work trucks & all the decades of working around them . I pull a 24’ boat & a 7x14 dump trailer about 1/3 of the time its running . It has averaged 12.9 over 13000 miles . Not great but im not complaining since my 6.7 work truck has averaged 8mpg over the years with 0 towing ( cant compare because of weight & idle time in work truck though ). I just hope the godzilla holds up long term .

You should use the virtual switch function “ IGNORE AC INPUT” this will let your multi,s ignore the AC input until certain criteria is met ie low voltage or high watts consumption ,whatever suits your on off scenario , this will also work in conjunction with “power assist “and “sustain mode”

I've got a couple of friends that have that motor. I hope for you and them it lasts. I've heard that if you idle a lot, dont. It's not good for the low psi oil pressure. I own 3 rams, but thinking about a rig like yours.

I like the new design with option changes or add-ons. Font definitely needs to be enlarged - option on main screen to show live break down of solar array performance like the old style did.

Just picked up a 24 SD & it doesn't have the fold out compartment under the rear seat. Maybe only available on trim levels above XLT or in the USA

A must have, is a large, thick knee pad. It seems there is always something you have to be on your knees for around a RV, especially when you want your wife to let you go and watch the game at the local bar with your buddies, or, you want to golf when she wants you to go shopping with her!!

The OEM mirrors have too small of actuating motors...it's like putting a lawnmower engine in a dump truck...they can't handle the long duration of use. Ford knows this too but, until they get enough bellyachers on it, they stick to playing Solitare on their work computers...

Good job on your whole solar set up. There is one thing your forgetting, DC to DC charging. Perhaps you should get two DC to DC chargers, 12 to 24 volt to hook up to your Truck. Let your Truck charge your system as you go from site to site.

Agreed... option for larger text on screen, and, allow us to at least choose colours for the overview screen. For that matter, colours should be programmable on the 'Brief' screen too... or at the very least, on both screens, we should be able to choose an overall colour theme. I like moving 'Batteries" to the lower middle position. Like the inverter, it both takes in, and gives out power, so it makes more sense this way with all inputs on the left, and all outputs/loads to the right, with the inverter and battery exchanging as needed. Overall I'm satisfied, and tweaks will be made, by Victron or others, to fill any much called for features.

I have a ‘21 as well, and it has been doing it as the seasons change, after physically resetting them a couple times I haven’t had an issue. My problem is with the driver door lock😢

No issues with my 2020 F450 74,000 miles . Still work perfectly.

My mirrors in my 22 F350 did the very same , I took em back to Ford, and they replaced both 0charges. Itt was still under warranty

I'm here because of the truck. My driver's side mirror has a issue but still works. It's a 21 so I'm out of warranty I'm glad there's a option. Thank you for showing us that.

Well the previous firmware had issues. My Cerbo-S had problems with needing a reboot every week or it needs a hard reboot (painful on a remote site) and it does not display information correctly on vrm etc. Why for example, is my Grid side PV inverter........displayed on the AC out-1 of my Multiplus??

You had not said but having swapped the mirrors over, are they still doing the musical tantrum theme ?

Fog lights are for driving in the fog. Using them all the time blinds oncoming drivers. Fog lights are mounted low and aimed straight out to get under the fog. At a distance, the light beam is higher than headlights. Don't be a jerk and use them just because everyone else is doing it.
