    I'm glad you explained what a frameless window was. I couldn't quite figure it out by the name.

      @@Chuy-wg4ve I always run it just below the seal/gasket so there are no light gaps when the window is all the way up.

    Hi Doug
    Could you teach how to cut films on CX5 rear windows?
    Somehow the part with the daimond shape came short
    Thanks in advance!
    Thanks

      The daimond shape made it very difficult.

    How did you pop the latch back on the windows

    • @fastlanecarcarellc3608
      @fastlanecarcarellc3608  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      On the door? You just pull the handle. Some cars you need to pull the handle and at the same time flip the latch back with a screw driver or something.

    Hey man nice video, what brand of blue scrub is that?

      My blue steel wool scrubbies are just what ever the grocery store has. The soft blue scrubbies are scotch Brite pads. You can also get them from any grocery store. Look in the isle with dish soap 🧼. Thanks for watching!

  • @Malseph

    You could just disconnect the battery and open the door lol window motors cant work without power

    • @fastlanecarcarellc3608
      @fastlanecarcarellc3608  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not a smart idea though as on many models the window tucks into a seal. If you disconnect the battery (which also isn't easy to access on many cars now days) the window can't drop down out of that seal and you risk damaging the glass. Way more work and risk than just flipping a latch.
      But you are technically right.

    Ik it’s been a while since this was posted but how do you undo the latch when you trick it to move the window upwards

    • @starrun13
      @starrun13 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I think you just open the handle to basically say that the door it now open

      Some cars you have to pull the handle and then use something to flip the latch back. I can't remember if this is one of those or not. Though I'm sure you figured it out by now.
