I’m telling everyone right now this channel has everything you need to tint. I watched his videos 5 times or more until I felt the confidence to do it. I bought ceramic tint 35% and just finished my 2009 Legacy. I took my time and was nearly flawless. Shrinking took a little getting used to. I’m blown away. Props to this channel!!! Thank you for everything!!
hopefully I continue to get more paid tint jobs since the GMC and the Equinox. I think I need to invest a good slip solution! The Dawn, without the degreaser, and baby shampoo do okay, but it still likes to stick a little when I'm trying to slide the film into place. Thanks again for teaching me to tint, Matt! I ended up making 250 on the GMC. Probably should have made more since I removed the old film and it took so long, but it was a neighbor and he's been so kind to me that I feel like I owe him, so I really didn't mind, and I got to practice some and make money tinting and it got me his sister's Equinox. I only charged her 150 for the doors and windshield and I'm going to do the back hatch for 50 dollars, so I will have made 200 on it. I need to get better, so I can't complain about it really. hopefully as I get better, I will make more and get some Pro Nano or one of Geo Shield's auto films. Thanks again, Matt!
when I try to round the corners when I'm cutting the door windows, the film wants to lift and try to kink, and I can't really get a good round cut, even when I squeegee the film down on the glass. Since I learned to tint from watching your live streams, Matt, only this year, in the past 2 weeks have I finally done a truck and a car for pay. A GMC extended cab 2000 that had some old film that took me over 8 hours to remove from the door windows and the back, which had defroster on it, and I done Chevy Equinox Sports, which was difficult because of the door trims, especially the front doors. It sticks out over the sides of the door glass an inch, at least. the back the trim only sticks out over the glass on the hinge side. I didn't do the windshield on the GMC but I done the windshield on the Equinox today. It took me three tries because it had been 3 years since I done my Chevy Silverado truck. I used the opportunity when I messed up to go ahead and finish shrinking the rest of the windshield to get the practice in. I think I done the same when I was learning for the first time on my truck 3 years ago. I hope I start getting more paid tint jobs. I've had the GeoShield Pro Classic die film for all this time, and only now getting to use it. I only bought 50' rolls of 20% and 35%, but now when I really need the money, it's coming in handy! anyway, I really am wondering if you have any tips on rounding the corners since I have difficulty getting the film to stay down when I pull my blade in a radius? So excited this video popped up...I wanna attempt my 3000GT front doors...State police pulled me over and gave me a citation to remove it or pay the fine....looks like I'll have a not so fun experience lol

Can I ask what heat you typically use ? I’ve got a digital display gun so it’s real precise but if you just whack it on high as I don’t think yours has a screen, I’ll just stick with that/ a little below as I’m new to it and don’t want to ruin my film doing too much
You make this Look so Easy, But I guess if you have done is many MANY times ya know the tricks, I TRIED 3 times to Tent my Small Windows and it failed BAD BAD BAD, They would Start coming off at all 4 corners. so I have given UP! I gave up and TORE it ALL off.. ended the mess........ OMG! Maybe Spray Paint..-
I think, I'm not sure, but this guy is a professional, who does this for a living everyday... And you are watching a video on how to tint... So maybe stay in your lane?
Having done a tint course a few days ago, I asked the same question… the guy teaching us said in 25 years he’s never had a problem at all regardless of the car, and he used to do some serious vehicles back in the day
all cars are designed for water and rain. only problem ive ever had was a speaker getting fried because the last owner didnt replace the rain cover on the oem speaker

Yes, you have to heat shrink it. Curved windshield but it's fun to learn 🎉
Get in the car, also you can fully remove the window in some cases

If you made 8 large fingers on the bottom you wouldn’t have to shrink the top. Which saves you time from trimming twice on top.. great video tho
