    I suffered from sciatica pain for a year then my mom sent me Moringa leaves from Pakistan and asked me to make tea amd drink twice a day. In 14 days my pain and back problem went away. I loveee this Daal recipe. I am a big fan and promote it like you to everyone.

      @@neetasingh345
      Sure, just simply brew it like black tea.
      First thing in the morning I would take 1 teaspoon of Moringa leaves mix it with hot boiling water in a cup. Let it sit there for 5 minutes and then drink it. I was lazy to strain it.
      Same thing at night, last thing before bed, had tea the same way but please do it for at least 10-14 days.
      I was lucky enough to notice difference from the very first day and by day 10 all pain was gone till today:)

    Geeta ma'am, just wanted to share one other benefit I experienced using moringa leaves. Back in 1990 my daughter, who was 3 years old, suffered from white patches on her hands. The paediatrician advised feeding her moringa leaves for a week in any form instead of administering Vitamin A. I did it for a week and like magic the white patches were gone. As you said our country is so rich in its heritage of traditional food/clothes /way of life and I feel blessed to be an Indian.

    Yes mam.It is very interesting to hear ur information about muringa tree n its leaves.Here in Kerala there is a concept also related to it.It is said that the leaves carry poison during rainy season n thereby avoid cooking it especially in the month of 'karkadakam'.But here in each n every home people cultivate it.The tree has its own sanctity I think so.we people make variety of curries using both of its leaves n drumsticks.Thank u for ur valuable information.

    • @ramasrinivasan2648
      @ramasrinivasan2648 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@GitasKitchen Avoiding greens during monsoon time is mainly because very small , tiny worms tend to stick to the leaves and sometimes do not get washed out after washing or rinsing. This , I remember my grandma telling me as back in those days when there was no electricity, it was very difficult to see the worms even during the day during rainy season. also the drumstick tree attracts a particular worm called, kambalipoochi [ caterpillar, ]which gives itchiness when touched.

    Very valuable refresh. Would like to add a few tips in this regard:
    1.If the twigs are rolled in a newspaper or a thin cloth the previous night all the leaves would have come loose by morning n save lot of time.
    2. The leaves along with tuvar dal can be pressure cooked with 2-3 cups of water n then the water can be used to make rasam or soup while curry can be made with the dal n leaves. Tampering is done with ghee , red chilli, n garlic .This combo is served to nursing mothers to get more milk. Good for anybody though.
