In this video you’re going to learn all about the squat and the mobility issues connected to it. You’re going to learn about the common pitfalls when trying to achieve an anatomically correct and aesthetically pleasing full depth squat (visa video på bra squat).
Regardless of whether you’re doing a front squat, a back squat, high bar, low bar, barbell, kettlebell, bodyweight… The general principles and guidelines are universal.
It’s going to be a bit lengthy with details, but I ask for your patience to persist and not skip any part. It is my hope that you will learn some new things from this and get a few aha moments.
We will be going through a little basic anatomy because I want you to know the function of each joint that has anything to do with the squat. Then we will go through correct and incorrect pattern and basic solutions to solve the incorrect patterns.
You must understand that the reason for a dysfunction or a difficulty performing a move begins with your knowledge in anatomy. As simple as that. Because every body part has a specific function. If you were to build a house, you need to know what purpose every structure of the house serves. If you’re a car mechanic, you need to know the purpose of every structure of the car.
And finally, we will go though how to assess dysfunctions and go through appropriate solutions for each dysfunction. It is my hope that this will be one of the most complete videos on TH-cam about the squat.

So far I haven't found a channel that explains things and talk about wrestling like yours and you really helped me get ready mentally and physically. I just want to say I appreciate all the effort you put into these and look forward to the next video.

I am a big fan of your channel. Even though I am not doing sports professionally or anything, your descriptions are very good. I can take the two dumbells and try to jump or do squat jump just to try what you say about plyometrics or something. I like that you care very good about form, discipline, injury proofing the body etc. Well rounded complete sports information. Thank you!

Incredible content, that is there, the video is great, but you arent getting enough views for how good it is. I reccomend that you research (which you seem to be good at) how to improve that and how the youtube algorithm works so that your content is viewed more, therefore your time being used more efficiently for the production of these videos.

    Amazing video always Coach.
A topic I was hoping you would cover was 'Balancing S&C intensity with mat practise' e.g. Training Wrestling 4x per week with BJJ 2x per spread through the weekday.
I always imagine it was simply train in the morning and then do evening mat practise' but I feel like there's more nuance - your experience would be amazing here
