Getting stuff constantly would suck. There would be nothing to get excited over anymore. 4 years ago or so there was an xmaxx and a halfpipe. Shit was awesome. At somepoint the videos feel forced and fake. Gotta hype it for the viewers.

I bought a Baja 5T when they were relatively new, and I am pretty sure that is overall the most fun RC car I have had, for now. All the stuff you could get too, the only thing is that it can be noisy and needs som space. And a bit pricey, especially if you are not careful with the ordering of parts..
man, that loud motor really highlights your stabby, all-or-nothing throttle style.

If the drive-shaft comes off at high speeds it could cause a roll-over. If you use a "drive-shaft loop" even if the drive-shaft comes off it will keep it from rolling the vehicle.

RC Cars have moved on a long way since I raced them at a high level back in the late 80’s / early 90’s
It is amazing how those suspensions take that abuse... I was pretty impressed by the way that blue and white two stroke stuck to the ground without bouncing as if you landed it on the moon...🥴

Kev you should do the electric conversion on your Ramanator. Guy has one done on TH-cam and for a big truck it’s pretty damn quick with the brushless conversion.

1:25 Hey Kev, I'm a mechanic and found this online; Typically, driveshafts contain universal joints at the ends. Over time, the grease inside the fittings can disappear, leaving the U Joints all nice and dry, but that isn’t a good thing. When the pieces are not able to turn and move freely, additional strain gets put on them. So much so that the universal joints can break while the vehicle is in motion. In turn, the driveshaft can become disconnected and hit the ground. The issue can be dangerous, as the car won’t be able to drive forward or backward.
That would be bad at 100mph!! Also, why are you driving that rust bucket that fast? I can't judge I drive a honda accord with almost 300,000 miles on it well over 120 HAHA

1:29 I have dropped several driveshafts. The rear joint isn't bad. A loud noise, the engine revs and you begin to slow down. The shaft will slap around for a few revs and then the transmission (transfer case for Andy) will spit out the driveshaft and start leaking some fluid. If the front joint goes the shaft can get bent and really whack the bottom of Andy, but I have never lost a front joint.
Those who don’t know the drive shaft starts spinning rapidly and will destroy the whole floor and everything

If your prop on the Land Rover comes apart at high speed it may well end up coming through the floor and possible gearbox , chassis crossmember damage
I saw one of these losi truck in a store when I was like 6 and I was blow away with how huge it was. I though I could ride it.

on that large of an rc car, using an fpv setup would be good because it is stable enough to actually see, I tried on my lfb cheetah and it was so bumpy that it was unusable
