My grandpa Garrett had a car like that. I rode in it a few times. It had one of those sun visors outside and over the windshield that was popular back in the day. It had a working spotlight on it too. He always kept a coffee can on the floor by his left foot as he chewed Red Man tobacco. Little did i know i would grow up to do that too for a short time!

When you put "we take it for a rip in the yard" in the description I imagined you guys doing crazy donuts in the grass and dirt and mud flying everywhere lol, what I saw was not what I imagined... but still very cool :)

Its not really a field car... But we've had lots of those. Just had fun last week chasing a skunk with my plow truck. The skunk won...

I know this video is old, but so is my car. I need help with what to order-- toput my front and Back wind shields in- whet type of weather stripping and pinchweld seal- and How to put them in. Seems the installer and the salesperson disagree. Installer says I "don't need a U channel and Pinchweld seal and the salespeson says I need "Both" and 1 says- the windows go on the car from the "outside" and the other says- that's wrong --they go in from the inside. Do you have a video of this car- wear you install both front and back?

You mentioned in the video that the car is a 47? But the title states 48? I just inherited a 48 Fastback from from my Father who owned it since the 50's. He never got the chance to restore it so I want to do it for him. It hasn't been started in over 40+ years so not sure what to do to begin but I will watch all the videos and hope to learn a lot. Thank you for doing this.
