    I have never seen anyone do metal work like that before. I'm here in the U.S. and most of the time they just cut and weld in another piece and scrap the old. I say that was a Top Notch metal work there and body work. It is sad that over time you don't see much of the older ways of doing things. I'm thankful I was able to see this and have knowledge that this was how things were done before and I'm glad to see that people still do this today. You have some real skills there. Keep up the great work.

    Thank you for sharing! I’ve never seen anyone (on TH-cam or real life) conduct body work the way you’ve shown on your video. You’re melting some kid of metal to fill holes and imperfections, blows me away. This is a technique pre “bondo” I guess ? Anyone can slap on bondo and start sanding, your work is an entirely different thing!

      This is a dying art of leading the way they used to do body work before bondo. It is more softer material to work with. It takes a a know how to do it though. It's not like bondo just mix hardener to it and spread it on like icing on a cake and sand become a big mess.

  • @snoopu2601
    @snoopu2601 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Wow he's leading that is a dying art I always wanted to learn how to I tried it with the wrong lead. On my brother in law's wagon I ended up using bondo to fix my mistake. I should have bought the right stuff I was in a hurry to get it done we had a dead line to get it finished or I would have done it right.

    Simply so you can say "no bog" still using filler!! Plastic filler is far better for the car and the worker. Get into the current era.

    • @joeyfromcali
      @joeyfromcali 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah breathing in all that plastic. Is so healthy. You gotta sand plastic. And the masks dont fimter everything. How many chemicals are in plastics?

    • @ninja63639
      @ninja63639 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Plastic filler isnt better at all. I guarantee you'll never see lead crack and lift up under paint. Cant say the same about plastic filler. The reason everybody uses plastic filler now is because it's faster and easier than lead. Today it's all about get them in and out as quickly as possible. Quality has taken a back seat to fast turnaround and volume
